"Children behave!!" Mericy shouted after Rimfire and Rhea who ran as fast as they could to the line to wait for their turn. "Hungriest first.." Modo chuckled while patting his sister's back, making her roll her eyes to him. "If I didn't know they had came from my womb.. I would have thought they was your kids.." She smirked, making him laugh. "You mean my womb?" He patted his well trained stomach, making her laugh and slap it gently. "Right! I'll blame the genes about their behavior!" She laughed, but then heard Jessica talking from other side of Modo. "So the mirror is actually rather familiar object after all?" She smirked, making the gray furred female's jaw drop down while Modo started to laugh more.

"I liked this female more whole the time!" Adira smiled warmly while taking Jessica's hand in hers. "Well thanks mama.." Mericy growled before smiling too. Finally Modo seemed to find someone for him. "It's just good that someone shows you also your place, Mericy dear!" Adira smiled, making them laugh again while Mericy just rolled her eyes. Then they joined Rimfire and Rhea to the line to choose what they would like to eat.

"You sure you are not hungry, Vinnie? I think you should seriously eat something.." Throttle said while he and Carbine walked there last with the white furred male. "Nah.. I'll grab something later.. I'll check if mechanics have finished fixing my bike.." He sighed before turning around. "But he's always hungry.." Carbine turned to look at Throttle worriedly before turning to look back at Vinnie who headed back to the stairs, his tail just dragging along, not moving at all as it normally would. "I'll get him something after we have eaten.. But are you sure you are alright? You know that cramp got me worried.." He said while letting her go first to the line. "I am.. But there's something that I want to talk about with you alone.. So let's take a table for just the two of us.." She said, making him now look at her seriously worried.

"You sure you don't want to join us?" They heard Jessica chuckling from the other side of Modo who was in front of Carbine in the line. Then they turned to look at the playfully fighting teenagers, making them chuckle back at her. "No thanks.. We'll meet you guys later.. You can have more time to get to know each other" Throttle said, making Carbine smile at him while she was choosing her food and drinks from three different options that the cafeteria had made today. There wasn't actually much food left either because of the resources, meaning that this was actually pretty much more like luxury.

"Rimfire! Rhea! Behave!!" Modo growled, making both of them obey right away when they were complaining about what table they should choose. "But isn't that just a welcoming view after the reunion? Let children be children.." Adira smiled lovingly before sitting down to the closest table which was easier for her, making all of them gather around her too. "Yeah yeah.. But still.. That's not appropriate.." Modo said, making the teens drop their ears down while starting to eat. "You know.. You would be a good father.." Jessica smiled, making Adira's heart melt while she turned to look at her son suggestively. "Yes! He would!" Mericy joined the discussion too, giving Modo no chance to defend himself. Meanwhile at the back of the cafeteria, Carbine sat next to Throttle at the corner table.

"What is it? You can tell me now.. It's much calmer here since most are already leaving back upstairs.." Throttle said while noticing her sitting right next to him, instead of sitting to the opposite side of the small table. He was about to drink but then he felt her wrapping her arms around his neck, making him lift up his other eyebrow. "Carbine.. You are making me seriously worried now.." He sighed, but then heard her sobbing against his chest. "Just hug me tightly, Throttle.." She said, making him do as told. She wrapped her tail around his tail fast, making him now turn to look at her eyes very worriedly. "Spit it out.." He said, making her turn to look down.

"Na-a.. You know you can tell me anything.. And I'm not going to eat before you start talking.." He said while his stomach was growling. It had been quite a time when they had last eaten properly. "That cramp I had.." She started, while trying to eat too when Throttle started to eat since she finally talked. "Yea? What was it about? You collapsed onto the ground in the middle of the fight.." He said while looking at her still. "You know that females had their monthly almost like Earthen women, at least what I've read and heard.. But the hormones make the wills much more powerful.. And the symptoms are a bit different.." She said, making him almost choke on his food.

"Yea.. I've noticed that.." He smirked, but then stopped when he saw her ears dropping down. "After what Scabbard did to me.. I.." She said, making him stop eating and turn to look at her properly. "Mmm?" He let her continue while listening carefully. "I had troubles with mine.. But before the war.. After he had attacked me in my home and I ended up in the hospital.." She said, making him seriously worried. He had a feeling that he didn't like where this was going. "The Doctor noticed it and I got some treatments.. Now I have got my monthlies back and they have been more powerful than usual.." She explained, not even sure if she had understood everything about it well either.

"Meaning that you are alright? Are you?" He said while crabbing her hands in his. "Sort of.. Everything should be alright, but the doctor wasn't sure how long it would last.. I have taken a hit to my lower stomach and since then I have had troubles there.. It's not sure when it's too late for me to have a baby.. Or can I even have one.." She started to sob, making him sigh deeply and pull her into a hug. "If it's up to that.. Then we'll adopt.." He said while kissing her head, making her shake her head while turning to look at him. "But I want my own! I want to carry your children.." She said, making him kiss her gently. She kissed him back while leaning against him. "I love you so much, Carbine.." He said, making her sigh and look at him lovingly. "I love you too, Throttle!" She said before they continued eating, the way he had his other hand on her lower back the whole time.

After she had told him the news, his thoughts had turned to more serious. He wasn't only worried about Vinnie, Harley and Carbine, but he also knew that there was one thing to do before having a family with his female. But how would he prepare for that during these times?

Vinnie's pov:

When I had got my bike from the mechanic, I had got out of the whole hospital ruins for a drive. I needed to take a break from all of what had happened recently, especially away from those happy couples that my bros were with their females. Modo even had his whole family around him, and even if Adira had taken care of me too when we had been young, I never had got to show her how much it meant to me, even if I had always felt a bit different from them.

"Harley.. Sweetheart.. Where would you be.." I sighed while placing my helmet on my head, but then I saw Stoker walking towards me from the side mirror. "Going somewhere, Punk?" He said while walking next to me. "Looking for Harley.." I sighed, making him lift his hand on my shoulder. "I know how you are feeling.." He said, making me growl at him. "How would you? You have never had a female.." I said, making him sigh deeply without saying anything.

"Doesn't mean I wouldn't understand.." He said after a while of clearly thinking what he should say. "Did the others get worried about me?" I asked, making him shrug. "Actually I was coming to ask you where they have gone.." He said, making me nod to the ruins. "Cafeteria.. I wasn't hungry.." I said, making him lift up his eyebrows. "Make sure you still don't drive without gas.." He said, making me nod. "Well.. The Situation here seems to have calmed down a bit, but be careful.. Report if you say any enemies, but don't go fighting alone.." He said, making me chuckle sarcastically.

"Well, you know me.." I said, making him cross his arms. "You said it.. And I know this looks exactly like your depression is about to come back.. For real, Punk.. Don't be away too long.. Come back soon or I'll come search for you" He said, making me drop down my ears while turning to look down. "I knew it.. And for you to know.. Not just them but I am also worried about you, Vincent.." He said, making me shrug. "Good for you.." I growled, making him growl too. "Is it, really?" He said while he swung his mechanical tail a bit. I shook my head, making him pat my shoulder gently.

"Do you want me to come with you?" He asked after a moment of silence, making me shake my head. "No.. I just want to be alone for a while.." I sighed, making him sigh. "You know that's not always a good thing.. Being alone too much with your head.." He said, making me turn to look at the sky. "When Phobos covers Earth, you'll come back.." He said, making me chuckle. "You're giving me time to come home?" I said, making him nod. "Like the old days? If you really want this to go that way, then yes.." He said and was about to turn around to leave, but I lifted my hand on his shoulder, making him turn back.

"Thank you, Stoker.." I said, making him nod and smile. "Anytime.." He said, making me smile before I started my bike's engine and dashed away towards the place where Mace had kidnapped Harley. There must be something left from him.. Has to be! "Harley.. Just wait.. I'm going to rescue you.." I sighed while driving along a street that still barely looked like one. Then I felt a tear rolling down my cheek, making me turn to look at myself from the side mirror to see the mask she had given me to cover my wounds. "Here we go Hot shot.. Flex plate shielding for vehicle repairs and the occasional macho mouse makeover.." I heard her saying in my head which actually made me cry much more that I needed to pull aside to take my helmet off to wipe my tears away.

Then I squatted down to hug my knees when I started to feel myself hyperventilating. "Harley.. Please be alright, Sweetheart.." I mumbled while turning to look at the sky while crying as much as possible for the moment. I felt so desperate, so anxious, so helpless, and so.. Lost.. What would I do to save the female I loved from the bottom of my heart? What did that rat even want from her? Where would he have taken her? But I swore I would find her, even if it takes my whole life..

At the cafeteria

Author's pov:

"So you let Vinnie go.. Was that a good idea?" Modo asked after Stoker had sat on their table to tell about the situation. "You know what he's like if you try to keep him to stay still.." Stoker sighed while rubbing his forehead. "Yeah.." He sighed, while feeling Jessica's hand on his shoulder. "Can we get a dessert now?" Rhea asked while looking at their mother who was still eating her food. "Is there even some?" Stoker asked, making Rimfire nod. "There is! I don't know why but whatever the reason is, I want to have some.." He said, making their grandmother laugh. "Why are you still sitting here then?" She said, making Mericy turn to look at her while the teens got up and ran to the line as fast as they could.

"My.. Children.." She growled, making her just smile at her. "My GRANDchildren" She poked her nose, making her sigh and nod. "It was a pleasure to meet you all after so long, but any ideas where Throttle and Carbine are?" Stoker asked while looking at them. "Over there.. Wanted to be alone" Modo nodded to the corner tables where the couple was currently kissing after finishing their meals. "Right.. About that dessert.." Stoker smirked, making Modo chuckle while the females just rolled their eyes. "Males.." They said in unison, making them look at the females confused, which made them laugh now.

"Well.. I'm going to interrupt them to tell them about Vinnie.. Let's gather together after you all have eaten.. Be nice, kids!" He said when the teens came back with their chosen desserts, making Stoker pat their heads before leaving. "Good to have him back.." Modo smiled while seeing his mentor walking towards the couple, but then he noticed Jessica wrapping her hands arounds his right arm. "Mmh? Don't you prefer more biceps?" He asked while feeling a bit awkward at first. She just smiled and shook her head. "I prefer you.." She smiled, making him smile at her before hugging her tightly.

"Awww! I just can't get over how cute you look together.." Mericy sighed while looking at them. "Reminds me about your father and me.." Adira smiled, making Modo and Mericy turn to look at her. "You remind me more about him now since he also had a mechanical right arm.. Not forgetting that he was also gray furred.. A Bit of darker shade though" She continued, making Modo and Mericy turn to look at each other. "He did?" He asked, but when he saw his mother nodding, he turned to look at his arm.

"Wow.. Gives more meaning to this.. Like it was supposed to happen.." He said, making Mericy shake her head. "Hope not! I'm sure your future children prefer seeing their father more than just ages 8 and 4.." She said, making him sigh and nod. Mericy surely had more memories about their father than Modo, who had been much younger and barely remembered him at all. He did have some memories but not too much, but enough to miss his father sometimes. He had many times thought what his life would have been like if their family had had Dan with them the whole time.

"Probably not that part, but I have a photo of him in one of my albums that I managed to save before we needed to leave our home.. We can go to look at them after the children have eaten.." Adira smiled warmly, making them nod and the teens hurry up eating. "Hey! You'll both get your stomach aches that way.." Jessica said, making them calm down. "Wow.. You have to teach me that.." Mericy said, making her laugh. "I have one older brother and one younger sister.. It teaches a thing or two.." She chuckled, making her laugh and nod. Meanwhile at the corner table where Stoker had interrupted the couple and sat opposite of them, Throttle sighed deeply after hearing about Vinnie.

"I hope he'll come back soon.." He sighed, making Carbine lean against his shoulder. "I really miss Harley but I can't imagine what he's going through.. Only makes me keep a tighter grip on Throttle.." Carbine sighed, making Throttle nod. "We just need to be by his side, but I agree with you.. Did you have something in your mind, Stoke? Huh, Stoke?" Throttle said while noticing his mentor being in his thoughts. "I know how he feels.." He was about to say but then turned to look back at them again. "Just thinking about the situation on Mars.." He said, making Carbine lean against the table now, she groaned slightly, making Throttle rub his lower back gently. "Everything alright?" Stoker asked, making her nod. "Yeah, just some female issues.. But go on.." She sighed, making him nod and cross his arms.

"I heard that the situation has truly calmed down now.. We can start to think about rebuilding and bringing Mars back to its glory.." He said, making them both surprised. "Really?! Shouldn't we celebrate that?" The Commander asked, making Carbine clap against the table a few times. "That's what we need! Definitely.." She smiled before there was another rather painful cramp. "Gosh.. I think I need to go now.. See you later!" She quickly got up and literally ran to take her dishes away before running upstairs to the closest bathroom.

"Is she truly alright? Seemed painful.." Stoker asked, making him nod. "Yeah.. Hurts to see her in pain.." He sighed while finishing his root beer that was still left a bit. "Luckily there are plenty of nurses and doctors here.. And since this is an evacuation center now too, we'll be here for the night. How are your eyes?" Stoker asked, making him sigh deeply. "Seeing the doctor tomorrow since there are busier patients for the rest of today, but I understand that.. Even the nurse thought that they would never get back to normal.." He said, making the general sigh and shake his hand. "It was horrible seeing you three injured there.." He said, making him lift his other eyebrow. "You saw it? And remember everything?" He said, making him nod.

"Yeah.. Then I got shot in the stomach to my back and lost my tail.. But the main thing is we are all alive! So I agree, we should celebrate it.. Can you tell Modo and the others while I'll check has Vinnie come back yet? It's nearly about the time.." Stoker said, making the commander nod and get up. "Any ideas where we could hold the party?" He asked, making him start to think about it a bit. "I'll ask around, but you should check my niece too. Later!" He said before leaving the cafeteria, but when Throttle walked to the table where Modo and the others had been, he saw it was empty, but then heard familiar laughter from the stairs.

"Guys! Who would want to party?" He asked after running to catch up to them on the next floor. "Party?" Mericy asked, making him nod. "We thought we should really celebrate our so far victory.. Stoke is quite sure this is now over.." He said, making them all sigh in relief. "Finally!!" Rhea and Rimfire high fived, making Modo nod. "Just say when and where the planning team is meeting, and I'll join you" He said, making the commander lift up his other eyebrow. "How did you.." He was about to say but made him laugh. "You surely thought I wouldn't know you that well!" The Big gray smirked, making him chuckle and nod. "Yeah sure.. But now I need to find Carbine, Stoke is heading to Vinnie" He said, but then turned to look at Jessica. "I was on my way to show these where they are going to sleep, I'll find you two later to show yours" She smiled at him, making him nod before continuing to search for his female who had had to leave so quickly.

"Carbine?" The Commander asked gently after seeing her walking out of one of the booths. "Oh there you are.. How are you feeling?" He asked while lifting his hand to her arm to pet it gently. "Better.. I asked the nurse for some meds and luckily those herbs affected quickly" She smiled at him, before sighing against his hand when he lifted it to her cheek. "You seem to be better, which makes me happy" He smiled, making her smile again. "But the medicinal herb storage is almost empty.. Without water they won't grow.." She sighed while turning to look down. "Hey, about that party I talked with Stoker.. We can plan there, how to get the water back!" He said, making her chuckle before taking his hand in hers when they started to walk somewhere else from there. On the way they saw a mother, close to Carbine's age, with a young child, and the mother was crying. She saw the male's army badge in her hands, making the female general drop her ears down.

"If you aren't going to turn alcohol to water.. Then it more likely needs a miracle.." She sighed, but then he whipped away a tear from her cheek. "C'mon.. I know what you are thinking.. All of the lates will be remembered, but now I am here with you.. And not going anywhere" He said, making her hug him tightly when they had walked down the stairs. "Better be.. But funerals should be held first before we can celebrate anything.." She said, making him nod. "Yeah, but even if the situation has calmed down, it's not announced yet if the war's over.. Even if Stoker thinks this is over now, it needs to be confirmed.." He said but then they saw Rhea walking along the corridor alone.

"Rhea? What are you doing here all alone? Mericy told you the opposite.." Carbine asked, making the teenager turn to look at the couple. "Oh hey! Just came from the bathroom.." She said, making the general cross her arms and lift up her other eyebrow. "Again? So short a time period?" She said, making the female sigh frustrated. "Can't I just simply hide at least one thing from you?!" She groaned, making them laugh. "No.." Throttle said, making the blond haired female glare at him. "How can you stand her.." She growled, making the commander just lift his hand on the female's waist. "You'll understand it when you are older.." He smiled, making Carbine smile at him too before turning back to her. "But there is.. One way to get away with this.. Sneaking out.." She smirked, making the teenager's eyes widen up. "What is it?!" She almost ran to her arms.

"You'll show us our space where we are supposed to sleep.." The General smirked, making her look at her suspiciously. "Just that?" She said and took a step backwards. She had been her nanny after all, and knew probably more about her than Rhea herself. "Yeah.. Jessica was supposed to do it but I haven't seen her again yet.. I assume she might have probably told it at least for Modo or Vinnie just in case.. And I also know well that you are cunning enough to eavesdrop on the information!" She said, making the teenager doubt her clearly. "And then I can go?" She asked carefully, making the general nod. "Alright.. This way.." She said and turned around, making Throttle turn to look at Carbine confused.

"Your small room is next to us.. There aren't many rooms other than that bigger hall and most are sleeping there, but the soldiers can rest and sleep a bit better before heading back to the field.." She explained while opening the door, but then she noticed a light gray furred tail sneaking to her feet. "No!!" She jumped and started to run away. "You are getting back to your mother, young lady!!" She laughed and caught her sooner than she managed to roll over, jump and do flips away from the general.

"I hate you both!!" She growled when Throttle knocked the door before opening it, making Modo get up from the bed closest to the doorway. "Rhea? When did you even leave from here?" He said, making Mericy get up from hers and run to her daughter. "RHEA!!" She gasped worriedly before hugging her tightly. "One escapee, back to her mother.. I think I owe you that.." Carbine swung her tail while she smirked at the female who glared back at her. "You owe me more than just this.." Mericy growled, making her roll her eyes. "'Thank you for saving the planet' would be more likely.. So you're welcome!" She growled before dashing to the room Rhea had shown to be hers and Throttle's, which Jessica had told to the others, like Carbine had thought, since the nurse's duty had called before seeing the couple again.

"You should be nicer to her.." Modo growled at his sister, making the female just glare at him. "Don't wake up mama, lil' bro.." Mericy said, before hearing Adira sighing. "You should have said that before screaming your daughter's name so loudly, my dear.." She said while sitting up in her bed. "Is Vinnie here too?" Throttle asked but then saw an empty bed there near the teenagers and Modo's beds. In Martian culture it was inappropriate for females to sleep closer to the doorway, since they were more important than males especially during times like these when there were too few females than males left anymore, meaning that they were meant to be protected from any kind of possible enemies, to prevent extinction.

"No, but Stoker's still looking for him.. I suppose.." Modo said, making the commander sigh while rubbing his forehead and leaning against the doorway. "If he hadn't come back in a couple of hours, we'll track him down" He said, making the gray furred male nod before Throttle continued his way to his and Carbine's room. "About that party.. Do you have any ideas, Throttle?" Carbine asked while taking her boots off, her back facing the male. "Mm.. Not sure, since I have other ideas in my mind right now.." Throttle smirked while locking the door and walking behind the general. He lifted his hand slowly to her waist before moving them to her butt. "Other ideas, huh?" She smirked while closing her eyes for a moment when she felt him rubbing it slowly but with roughly enough.

"Yeah.." He smirked while noticing she kept leaning forwards after already having her shoes off. "Wanna tell about your ideas, Commander.." She winked at him over her shoulder, making him tighten his grip before slapping her butt gently. "Just that?" She smirked before gasping when he pulled her against him. She gently rubbed her butt against his front before turning around and wrapping her arms around his neck. "It's only the two of us now.." He whispered to her ear, making her bite her lower lip. "Yes, but those parties won't plan themselves.." She said, making him groan. "What a bad idea it was after all.." He threw his head backwards dramatically, making her giggle.

"Well.. We can plan it with less clothes too.." She smirked, making him grin while turning to look back at her again. "Sounds like the plan I like.." He winked, making her blush before he leaned to kiss her while lifting her other leg up to rub her tight. But when Throttle had just moved to kiss her neck, they heard a cough behind them. "Vinnie?!" Carbine gasped when they turned around to see the white furred male standing there. "I'm sure I locked the do-.. Hey!" Throttle growled when he remembered his bro's lock picking talents that were preeminent. "You seriously picked the lock with your tail to see our.." Carbine groaned while crossing her arms, she looked very much displeased, but when they heard Vinnie's words, they both got surprised and hurt.

"Harley's missing and you two are seriously making out here.. Not even trying to search for her!! But planning parties is more important than her! I thought you were her friends! And you Throttle.. I thought you were my bro.." He growled while swinging his tail behind his feet. "Hey did I hear Vinnie?" Modo said while taking a peak to the corridor from their room. "How are you?" He asked carefully, making the white furred male just snort while turning to look away. "At least Stoker understands to help to search for her.. Thanks a lot, bros!!" He shouted before dashing away as fast as he had even come there, leaving the others looking very hurt but also confused about what had just happened.

"He is right.. We don't have any rights to even think about the party when she's not here with us.. I'm a horrible friend!!" Carbine started to sob while sitting on the edge of her bed. "No you're not.." Throttle sighed deeply. "He is just devastated.." He continued, but then Modo talked. "And in a shock.." He said, making them nod. "But the party doesn't mean she's forgotten.." Throttle said, making them sigh before trying to think of a proper solution for what would be the right thing to do now.

Mars definitely needed saving and water back, and all of them needed some cheering up and feel better after what they had gone through, but not the late Martians couldn't be forgotten either. All those civilians, soldiers and the others.. And Harley.. If she still was alive, she would deserve to attend the party with them as well after she had got founded, but no-one of them could say how long that would take or where even search properly? Was the war even over yet either? Would Mars be safe now and ready to bring its glory back?
