Narrator:Karai woke up to see Andrew leaving

Karai:*groggy*Andrew where are you going

Andrew:right you know it's ok to sleep for more than 2 hours

Andrew:oh I'm heading to work will you wake Tadashi he has to come with me

Andrew:police station well he's going to apply

Karai:ok*walks over to Tadashi's bed and flops on him*wake up

Andrew:you know you could apply too little sis

Karai:really I mean I'm still a kid

Andrew:yeah you turned 17 yesterday so you meet the age limit

Karai:I didn't realize that the chief of police was the person overseeing our applications

Andrew:sorry she's nervous

Cruz:nervous she's in the ceiling

Karai:I used the stones in the wall to push myself up to the rapters then pulled myself into the support beams

Cruz:impressive Ms.*pauses and extends hand*

Cruz:nice to meet you Karai so shall we start the training excersizes

Andrew:I think they're ready for it

Narrator:Tadashi and Karai passed all the test with one remaining

Cruz:you've done well so far but now comes the test that makes or breaks all recruits*dramatically*the hostage situation

Tadashi:*in head*well this should be easy

Karai:*in head*huh I was expecting way worse

Tadashi:*in head wait what do you mean

Karai:I face hostage situations more than you think

Cruz:except this test uses actual people

Tadashi and Karai:*out loud*wait what

Andrew:*stifles small laugh*everyone says that

Cruz:if there are no more interruptions*looks at Andrew*

Andrew:sorry sir

Cruz:thank you now as I was saying this will use people one of you will be the hostage the other will be the officer  

Andrew:I will be the kidnapper fill in

Cruz:so who's going first

Karai:you want to go or do you want me to

Tadashi:I'll go first

Cruz:alright you go with Andrew Karai come with me

Tadashi:I hope you save me

Karai:*rolls eyes and smiles*maybe

Narrator:Cruz leads Karai to a dark room then began looking for the light switch

Cruz:I know that switch is here somewhere sorry we just had our training facilities remodeled

Karai:may I*ignites her fist and holds it above her head*other side

Cruz:how can you do that*turns on light*

Karai:*puts out hand*it's hard to explain just know I don't intend to hurt you

Cruz:ok then thanks i guess anyways once you step through the door the exercise will begin

Karai:ok so what am I supposed to do

Cruz:*hands her paintball gun*your job is to shoot Andrew with out hitting Tadashi

Karai:what in Valhalla is this

Cruz:it's a paintball gun

Karai:*looks at him confused*what's a paintball

Cruz:shoot the target on the wall

Karai:ok*shoots bullseye*ahh it turned yellow what sorcery is this

Cruz:wow nice shot and it's not sorcery it's paint

Karai:oh ok then but if I shoot Andrew won't it still hurt him even if it is just paint

Cruz:no not at all he has bullet proof padding on

Karai:alright let's do this*walks through the door and sees Andrew hold Tadashi with a water gun pointed at hit*freeze don't move

Andrew:what makes you think you're in a position to tell me what to do

Karai:ok tell you what hand him over and we can talk ok

Andrew:or I shoot him and move on with my life

Karai:hey you're going to be ok but I can't be as nice as I am now if you don't work with me

Andrew:why should I let him go your going to arrest me even if I do

Karai:because if you let him go it shows you're willing to change 

Andrew:maybe I don't want to change

Karai:*radios Cruz*do I have to get Tadashi away from him

Cruz:no you just have to tag him without Tadashi getting wet

Karai:*whispers*good*out loud*it's alright and I don't think you don't want to change I just think you don't know how but I can help you

Andrew:I don't want your help

Karai:alright what do you want

Andrew:get on the ground

Karai:if you say so*lies on the ground*I win*shoots hit leg

Andrew:no you-*paint ball hits his leg*ow never mind

Karai:*gets up*sorry but in my defense he never said I had to hit where the padding was

Cruz:*walks in*I gotta say I've never seen someone think that far outside the box

Karai:did I pass

Cruz:flying colors actually

Narrator:Tadashi passed by shooting Andrew in the hand
