Me: Ah...I'm back home?

I was in my room...

Whew...

Did Nana Esther saved me...or was it the Six Medallions?

Oh snap! Something is missing here!

....

A dread of fear sink in my stomach in realization.

Where's my sister?!!

Me: RUBY!!!!

*BAM*

Followed by a loud noise, everything in my room went dark as I've heard the same bone-chilling voice.

"GIVE YOURSELF TO US!!!"

I haven't escaped them yet...

...

My room started to shake like an earthquake had just taken place. All valuables or items that I've contained over the years inside started to fall to the ground.

To my surprise, a vicious dark-claw like hand appeared from the ground.

I immediately knew who it was...

The Entity!!!

Entity: PLAY WITH US, JASPER!!!

Me: Leave Me Alone!

I was sick and tired of playing their stupid game! I have to get out of here and get to Ruby!

I clenched the necklace in my hand as it started to glow.

More dark shadows created by the Entity begin to form in my room trying to grab me.

I used the necklace to send them away.

The glow from the necklace was enough to push them back. Almost like how darkness is the enemy to the sunlight. If it gets touched, it disappears.

The Entity growled in rage seeing that I was still resisting. I then heard Isabelle's voice in my ear.

"GIVE YOURSELF TO US!!!"

Me: Never!!!

"Like Your Nana, You Cannot Escape This Fate!"

Me: WATCH ME!

"You are like me..."

Me: I am nothing like you!

"PLAY WITH US, JASPER!"

Me: JUST SHUT UP!!!

Isabelle was annoying me now. Like I said before, I refused to join them. I would never join the creatures that took away my family.

So...as a defense mechanism, I've continued using the six medallions to make all the shadows around me vanished.

Entity: *Demonic* ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!

After a couple of minutes, everything went silent.

I...believe I've won...For Now...

But I know they'll be back...

Me: I have to get out of here. Right Now.

I picked up my phone and charger before putting them in my pocket, then I left the room.

I now no longer felt safe in my own room anymore.

The Entity ruined that for me...

"Big Bro?"

I flinched hearing Ruby's voice. However, I thought it was another trap as I noticed her coming down the hallway with a concerned expression.

Me: *Cautious* Ruby? Is that you...? Are you...the real Ruby?

She raised an eyebrow at me in confusion before nodding.

Ruby: Why wouldn't I be Ruby?

Me: Just...making sure...

Ruby: What happened to you? Where did you get that pretty necklace?

I think it was best I explain what happened to me...

I begin to tell her what I've experienced back in the attic. The whole situation with Mr. Hopp posing as our Dad, the Entity, Isabelle, and the Medallions.

After I was finished, Ruby had stared wide-eyed in horror. Couldn't blame her.

Ruby: So...that means Nana never created Mr. Hopp?

Me: Yep. Isabelle, the girl who made a deal with the Entity, is his true creator.

Ruby: But...Why?

Me: Let me finish. Remember that Nana Esther was an orphan?

She nodded as I continued.

Me: Well...it turns out...like us, she might've had an horrific experience with Mr. Hopp herself when she was a kid...She was originally an orphan living the Blacklands' orphanage, and the Entity had implied that whatever caused Nana Esther to be orphaned to begin with hurts her deep down...

Ruby: Nana...Always did look sad whenever she mentioned her past...

Me: Yeah...All of this...was their plan...to get to us...

Ruby: Then...that means...

Me: They're the ones killed Nana Esther, Ruby...Think about it...It's possible that Mr. Hopp returning caused her mental and physical health to deteriorate, resulting in her eventually being hospitalized. Then
...She passes away not long after she gave you Mr. Hopp.

Ruby looked ready to cry from my blunt response. But she really need to know what was going on so she accepted the cruel answer.

Ruby: But...Why would Nana give me Mr. Hopp if she knew what was going on...

Me: Do not think ill of Nana Esther, Ruby. She wasn't in her right mind that day. Nana Esther must've lost all of her memories of her time in the Blacklands' orphanage, along with the knowledge of Mr. Hopp's true purpose as she took him with her.

Ruby:...I see...

It was a surprise that Ruby was accepting all of this calmly. But I can tell, she was very hurt to learn what became of our grandmother.

Ruby: I'm...glad that you're safe though...

Me: Yeah...so what happened on your end...?

Ruby: A-After I heard you...Mr. Hopp was chasing me for a while until I hid...then I found the closet key to where it was hidden in the potted plant.

I smiled at that. Good job, Ruby. Now...all we needed to do was get her toy gun and slingshot...

Me: Alright. Let's get back to our parents' room...before Mr. Hopp comes back.

It's time we ends all this...once and for all...
