*Jasper's Pov*

The next tape was in the kitchen, it was easy finding it despite evading Mr. Hopp's new transformation...

It's strange though...everytime we find a tape...I think that rabbit doll get worse and worse.

I tried to ignore the sinking feeling in my stomach as Ruby once again puts the tape inside the recorder in my hand and I turned it on....

Tape (4/6)

"September 17th - We took Jasper and Ruby to the hospital to see their Nana. Esther made a soft toy for Ruby called Mr. Hopp, a small rabbit. Esther always knitted her clothes and toys, Ruby was thankful but I must admit this toy does have a look to it...something quite unsettling."

Me: You have no idea, Dad...I guess we all owe you an apology Ruby...

I believe her now of her claims of Mr. Hopp trying to kill her. Because he's now trying to kill both of us...

Ruby: It's okay... It's just all of this...is really surprising...

Me: Yeah...

Ruby: I just hope we get Mom and Dad back when this is all over...

Me: I hope so too...where ever they are...

As we both got ready try to leave...like what happend before...Mr. Hopp's arm comes out from the floor.

Ruby: ?!!!

Mr. Hopp: *Growling*....

Seeing that he couldn't get none of the us once again, he disappeared from the kitchen.

Me: He's getting desperate. Be careful Ruby. I get the feeling the next two tapes will be hard to get with Mr. Hopp chasing us...

Ruby: Okay...

We continue their search to find the next tape, seeing that they couldn't find any downstairs. They both make their way to the attic, as a deteriorating Mr. Hopp continues to hunt for them.

*RIIIIIIIIING*

*Third's Pov*

A loud sound broke through the living room.

Jasper:....(It's the red telephone!)

Jasper and Ruby quickly hid once they saw Mr. Hopp near the phone. He was grabbing onto the phone examining for a bit in immense confusion before letting it go. As soon as he was a few spaces away. Jasper quickly but quietly as possible grabbed the phone handle and pulls it to his ear while continuing to hide with Ruby.

Jasper: Hello...?

Mark: Hello...? Jasper!

Ruby: Mark?

Jasper: Yeah! It's Mark!

Mark was their next door neighbor. They never felt so relieved so hear from him.

Mark: Jasper...? Ruby...? It's Mark from next door...I've been trying to call for hours! Is everything alright?

Jasper: Mark. You gotta help us! Our parents are missing and some strange creature is looking for us in our house!

He tried to make situation sounds realistic as possible so Mark wouldn't think he was crazy. However, for some reason, Mark couldn't hear Jasper nor Ruby on the end of the phone!

Mark: Hello...? Jasper?! Ruby?!

Jasper: Mark? Can't you hear us?!

What happened next made the siblings' hearts stopped...as some demonic screech they never heard before broke through the phone causing the line to end.

Jasper:.....

Ruby:.....

Jasper: So much for help from the outside....

*Later*

Jasper and Ruby found the next tape in the attic.

Tape (5/6)

"September 19th - We just had a call. Esther passed away in her sleep. The doctors couldn't give us a diagnosis and even said this sudden passing is bizarre...we will have to tell Jasper and Ruby when they gets home from school. This isn't going to be easy on any of us."

The recording ended as Ruby felt tears from her eyes...Jasper too...Losing Nana Esther broke their family. She was their rock.

Jasper: (The mystery behind her death still left some loopholes. Mr. Hopp is somehow involve in all this...)

Ruby: J-Jasper...

Jasper: Yes...?

Ruby: Look...over there at the wall.

Jasper looked at the wall. Confusion turned in horror seeing the writing on the wall.

"NANA LOOKED INTO THE FLAMES OF HELL...AND SHE SAW ME!"

Ruby: W-What does that mean?

Jasper:*Angry* It means...Mr. Hopp had played a role in Nana Esther's Death.

Ruby: B-But why...? Why would he kill Nana Esther...?

Jasper: (I wish I knew Ruby...I wish I knew...)

....

The last tape was in their parents' bedroom.

Jasper opened the door to see the tape on the chest next to their bed.

Ruby: There it is!

Jasper: Oh Good. Now we can-?! HOLY PUCK! WHAT IS THAT?!!!

A giant spider with Mr. Hopp's face appeared from the shadows in their parents' bedroom coming directly at Jasper and Ruby!!!

Mr. Hopp: *Demonic* SCREEEEECH!!!

Both siblings screamed in fright before running out of the room.

*SLAM*

Jasper: *Breathing Heavily* W-What the heck?!

Ruby: M-Mr. Hopp is a spider now?!

Jasper:...I don't know...I don't know what he is anymore...(Is he some kind of shapeshifter?! Just what is Mr. Hopp?!! Is he even from this world?!)

Ruby: I...don't want to go back in there...but we need that tape...

Jasper: I know...

Fearfully, Jasper opened the door again....and looked around the room. Mr. Hopp was no longer inside.

He vanished again. The elder sibling checked the corners, ceiling, and the walls just to be on the safe side. Seeing the psycho rabbit-spider thing no longer in sight. He took this chance to get the tape and got out of there!

Ruby: You got it?!

Jasper: Yes! I got the last tape!

"September 22nd - Ruby says the Mr. Hopp toy creeps her out but it's the only thing she has to remember her grandmother by. I keep hearing bumps in the nights, like somebody is walking around and it's scaring Jenna and I. I'm not sure if Jasper knows anything. He seems more withdrawn since Esther's passing to hear anything. Ruby hasn't been on her best behavior since the news. We had to take her toy handgun and slingshot away since she wouldn't stop firing pellets at the toy rabbit. She said it 'protects' her from it...it's just a toy. I keep the handgun and slingshot in the safe but I'm considering keeping it closer to me. We lock that room so that Ruby can't get to it. Jenna keeps the key under a houseplant in the hallway I think."

Ruby: So that's where they kept them!

Jasper: Looks like we do have something to defend ourselves with! Let's go find the key and get those toys.

Ruby gave him a determined grin as they begin their search for the potted plant their father mentioned.

Jasper: Hmm...?

Jasper stopped when he noticed a strange book with a symbol on it.

Jasper: (Didn't Mom get this from Nana Esther...?)

Ruby: Big Bro?

Jasper ignored her for a moment before opening the book. He stopped at a page titled...

"The Entity"
