Sparks and Silver (S)
TW: Make outs
Lalna was bored. He had completed his castle and everything was in order. He had also had his revenge on Sjin and everything was back in order, after he had completed his punishment. Because of this, he divided to visit Honeydew and Xephos at Honeydew Inc.
"Hey, Lalna," Honeydew said as Lalna walked in.
"Hey Honeydew," Lalna replied, nodding in greeting. "Is there anything I can do?"
"Erm, yes? I think so. I am actually going for some rubber in the forest over there. I am pretty sure Xephos needs some help down in the quarry. He has found a cavern and just wants a quick look."
Lalna smiled. "Sure, I will go find him. Over here... Right?"
"Yup! Cya!"
As Lalna walked down the the quarry, he thought about the spaceman. He tried to think about what he was going to do next in his Castle, but his thoughts were completely and utterly filled with Xephos. His smile, his laugh, his quirky ways and the way he really cared about Lalna. The scientist smiled again before emerging out of the building by the quarry. He adjusted his flying ring, making sure it was definitely there before jumping down and flying over to the cavern, were Xephos was sitting with his legs over the edge and clutching his arm. As Lalna approached he realised why.
"Oh gosh, Xephos! Are you okay!"
Xephos bit his lip before shaking his head no. "It really hurts. My armour... it's charging... Just as I was approaching the ground... My ring fell off..." he mumbled meaning that the Scientist was only hearing some of the words. "Then there was also this Skeleton... Shot me..."
"Xeph, come on. Lets get you cleared up. What do you say?" Xephos nodded and let Lalna pull him up. "Come on, lets go."
Lalna half carried, half pulled Xephos along to the medical room where he ordered the Villager to clean up the wound. When the Spaceman was feeling a bit better and his arm was healed, the two men walked back out to the cavern and began to explore.
"Hey, Xephos, where is your armour? Still not clean?"
"No, it's not..."
"Hey, I have a spare set of Irons... You can borrow my Diamond ones if you want." Lalna started to remove his diamond armour and replace the pieces with Iron instead.
"No, no! Stop! I can have the Iron, you keep the Diamond..."
"Oh come on! At least take the chestplate!"
"No! Keep it!"
"Yes, you have it!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
This carried on for a while until Xephos finally gave in and accepted the piece of Diamond armour, as well as the other pieces of Iron. "You keep the rest of the Diamond armour though!"
"I am, I am!" Lalna cried, laughing loudly.
"Good!" Xephos grinned.
After that, they got to work, collecting minerals, killing mobs and creating loads of torches, because Xephos is Xephos and that man loves torches.
Lalna seemed ocupied, Xephos thought. And that was true. Lalna was pretty occupied. His thoughts were completely filled with Xephos. He kept finding his eyes following every move of the spaceman and, well, that ass... If you know what I mean!
Xephos looked down over the side of the platform they were standing on and shot an arrow at a Creeper who was staring up at him. As he did so, another Creeper approached the man. By the time Lalna noticed, it was too late. He shouted to warn the other guy, but the noise of the explosion blocked it from reaching Xephos' ears. He stumbled before crying out and falling into the abyss below. Lalna saw this and wasted no time in jumping off the face himself and caught up with Xephos, wrapping his arms around the others' waist. He then slowed them down and safely brought them down to land. Xephos was still clinging desperately into Lalna and had his eyes screwed shut as if he were expecting impact onto the ground.
The Scientist smiled slightly before speaking softly. "I guess you forgot your flying ring too...?"
Xephos blushed before opening his eyes. "Ah, yes... It seems I have..." He did not move away, however. Something about the arms wrapped around him made him feel safe and at home. Lalna didn't move. Xephos' arms gripping on to him was very nice and he felt loved and trusted.
They stared at each other for a couple of seconds before, all of a sudden, Xephos leaned in and planted a small kiss on Lalna's lips. Lalna pushed him away.
"What was that for?!" he almost shouted, confused at the fact that he actually... Enjoyed the two seconds that it lasted?
The shorter man blushed and bit his lip before muttering something that Lalna could not make out. As Xephos was about to speak, he realised that he couldn't. Something was stopping him and it was a few moments before he realised it was a pair of lips... Lalna's lips. As soon as he realised this, he began to move his own against the other pair.
Lalna had never believed in love. Not really. Any past partners - three girls and one guy, to be precise - had been scrapped within a month as Lalna felt no attraction to them at all. This man, however... With him he felt like he could rule the world. He had never felt any sparks before; well, maybe a very small one with his ex-boyfriend. With the man he was kissing now there were, not to be too cliché, there were almost fireworks. For him it felt like July 4th, November 5th and New Years, all rolled into one!
Xephos was feeling the same. What was it, what was it about Lalna. That was the question that he kept asking himself. Again, he had never felt this with Lomadia, his only other partner. Although he thought that she was the one, Honeydew helped him realise that she was only playing him and she was only after him for the money and the Jaffas.
The couple made out for a few more minutes. Lalna grinned before bringing his tongue and hesitantly darting it out to touch Xephos' lip. The Spaceman opened his mouth and battled for dominance for a few seconds before realising that the Scientist had the upper hand on this one. Lalna slowly pushed Xephos into the closest wall and placed his hands on either side of his face while the non-dominant of the two kept one arm around the dominant's neck and snaked the other down to grab Lalna's butt. He then ran both of his hands along Lalna's frame and slowly pulled off the Scientists white lab coat. Lalna co-operated. It fell to the floor and the Spaceman was just about to unbutton the others dark shirt and pull off the goggles that sat a-top his head when they heard a small thud behind them. They ignored it and carried on kissing; but not for long!
"I'd tap that!" said a certain ginger-haired dwarf from behind them.
They leapt apart and both of their faces went bright red. "I was enjoying that," Lalna muttered.
Honeydew only laughed. "I can tell!" he said, nodding downwards slightly. Lalna went brighter red and Xephos stepped forwards to stand next to him, interlacing their fingers as he did and smiling up at the taller man.
The dwarf coughed and gave a cocky look. "Ahem. Well, if you wanted time together then you just had to ask!"
"Bu-"
"No, no. I know when I'm not wanted... Cya lovebirds later!" He grinned and jumped up to fly out of the hole.
After staring into each others eyes for another few seconds, Xephos pulled off Lalna's flying ring and put it on his own finger. Lalna gave a confused look before Xephos picked up the Scientists jacket, grabbed onto him and pulled them both up to the factory and they walked through to the village and to the Spaceman's house. Xephos unlocked the door and pulled Lalna through.
"We... Erm, we need to talk..." Xephos mumbled, playing with the lab coat between his fingers.
"Well, shall I start?"
"Go ahead."
"Erm... I guess that I have always liked you... And... Well, I realise that now and... Yeah..."
Xephos smiled at these words. "Good. I have always liked you too."
Lalna smiled back. "Well, in that case... Babe-"
"Don't call me that!" Xephos groaned and fake-glared at the other.
Lalna carried on talking. "Well, how about another nickname?"
"And what would that be?"
"Boyfriend."
Xephos frowned. "B-boyfriend?"
"Boyfriend. Yes."
"Well... Yes. Boyfriend it is."
Xephos pulled Lalna into another kiss and dropped the coat on then floor. Lalna backed his boyfriend onto the bed and lay down on top of him. That night - the first night of their relationship - was the best they had had their whole life. So far. For both of the boys knew that this was to be the start of a beautiful relationship.
