TW: Babby drabble

"It's two a.m. Lal, go to sleep!" Xephos mumbled into his pillow, pulling it up around his ears to drown out the endless clicking of Lalna's laptop. "But I've just had an amazing idea and I need to get it down before I forget." Lalna reasoned, eyes glued to the screen. Xephos groaned and pulled his head out of his pillow to glare sleepily at his boyfriend in the darkness of their bedroom. "That was the excuse 3 hours ago! Just go to sleep so that I can go to sleep." The persistent clicking paused for just a moment as Lalna glanced at the time. His mouth fell open as he read it; 2:13 a.m. "Oh my god. Xeph, I'm so sorry I didn't realize ... I thought it was ten!"

Xephos rolled his eyes, wrapping his arms lightly around Lalna's chubby waist as the blond shut his laptop, placed it on the bedside table, and wiggled down into Xephos' grasp. "I need to find a way to tire you out Lal." Xephos murmured into Lalna's shoulder and already drifting off to sleep. The man chuckled, pressing his back closer to Xephos' stomach and closing his eyes. "I have an idea on how you could do that Xephy." Lalna yawned. Xephos grinned slightly into his pillow, nuzzling his bearded chin into Lalna's shoulder. He had a feeling they had the same idea.

Their breathing slowed to a sync as they drifted into sleep's calm and peaceful arms. Tomorrow was going to be interesting.
