Alex's POV

I stand in front of the mirror, actually kind of admiring myself in a sick way. Kat, my most likely mentally ill twin sister, tricked me into making a bet with her that if I wore a dress to her wedding, she would buy me a whole lot of art supplies. And so here I am, in a light blue dress that barely goes down to my knees.

The devil herself, Kat, walks in. "Hey, are you just going to stand here? I'm only keeping my half of the deal if you go out there." I give her a glare.

"I expect only the finest art supplies, you hear me?"

"Yeah, yeah. Get yourself out there."

I huff and walk out of the dressing room thing, trying to avoid the many guests. However, there's two little girls who I can't get away from me. I see them out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn to yell at them, they're gone. Kat's kids, I think. What were their names... Al and Il. Twins. Adorable, sure, but annoying. (I promise I don't mean that bit about you being annoying)

It's not long before I bump into someone. Honestly, I'm surprised to see someone else this far from everyone else.

"Sorry." I mutter, looking up at him.

And my god, is he hot. (KAT IM GONNA KILL YOUUUUUU)

His hair was a platinum blonde, almost white, and it stuck up a little. His eyes, a brilliant shade of red that fades into violet, with an eyepatch over the right eye.

I felt my face heat up. Oh my god. He's so tall! (Ummm no you're just short. I didn't write this dammit)

"Are you alright?" His face was full of concern, eyes twinkling. I nod, speechless. Suddenly, I hear the all too familiar trumpet ringtone from my phone.

Kat- Alex where are you we're about to start

Be there in a sec -Alex

I put my phone away and cough awkwardly. "Um... I have to go..." I make as close to a mad dash as I can in the dress to the ceremony thing. Just in time.

~la da dee time skip of vows and stuff~

"I now proclaim you wife and- wife. Wife and wife. Um... you may kiss the bride!" The priest steps back as Kat kisses Xe passionately. (*snorts* I told you)

I smile, applauding with the rest of the guests. Kat gives me a wink when she pulls away, at least I think it was to me...

Everyone scatters to the food, and I'm left with the desserts. Why? Who knows. Ah, Kat... everything is arranged in rainbows, typical.

The person from before walks up behind me, grabbing a brownie with green icing. He smiles at me. "So, how do you know Kat? Or Xe."

I groan. "I'm Kat's twin. It should have been obvious." (Ha I'm having a moment where I want to make headcanons)

He nods. "Ah, I'm actually a friend of hers from work. She didn't tell me she had siblings. The name's Riley, by the way."

I open my mouth to respond, but stop when I see a movement from behind a tree. Oh, did I mention this is an outdoor wedding? Anyways, I barely have time to react before I'm suddenly shoved into Riley. He catches me, our faces barely apart. Quiet giggling starts from behind me, and I hear the click of a camera.

"See Xe? I told you adopting them would be a good idea!" Kat's voice could be heard, and I groan. (Im gonna fucking murder you)

"I sure as hell hope you're gay." Riley whispers before closing the distance.

In other words, he kisses me.
