Backstory: When the huntsman failed to kill Snow White, Regina punished him by taking his heart. Sometime later, Regina became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter she named Rosalina. She agreed to return Graham's heart on the condition he helped take care of their daughter. Rose grew up in the palace, blissfully unaware of her mother's evil deeds. Years passed and Regina sacrificed her father to enact the Dark Curse. Rose spent the rest of her childhood and teenage years in Storybrooke. After the curse was broken, a series of events caused Rose to decide to leave Storybrooke to travel the world. This is how she met Methos.
