The Ritual

Backstory: Galavant became a part of Uther's army and helped him conquer Camelot. Galavant never married as he loved his job too much and feared a relationship would get in the middle of that. However, he sired many children, his favorite being Luna who was born of Vivienne per an agreement with Gorlois. He was out of the country when his home was attacked by a sorcerer. He returned to Camelot without his children, sending them to his other surviving family while he continued to serve the king. He agreed to train his niece to fight as he truly believed everyone--men and women--should know how to defend themselves. Luna lived with her grandmother until her death but was not reunited with her father or half sister until many years later.
