Backstory: Kayleigh's backstory is the same as Jughead's. Jughead was more of a father to Kayleigh then their own father was. She's a year younger than the others leaving her only a freshman while they are sophomores. Kayleigh doesn't truly understand that her dad is apart of the serpents and that's why she barely knows him. Her best friend is Betty. They have been hanging out since they were 6 and that also means she knows Archie pretty well. She also got a job at Pop's to pay Jughead back for everything he did for her when they were growing up. So at night, they are both there, Jughead writing and Kayleigh working. She also hangs out with the group at school but none of the older kids mind since they like her like they like Jughead. She is also naive and doesn't understand that football players pick out girls and use them but she overhead some of the players saying that if her name is mentioned Archie says no and says if they hurt her they will have to deal with him. So she has Archie to protect her against the older football players that want to get with Freshman and Sophomores.
