Jeno chuckled softly watching Hyejin in her cat form running around the trimmed grass as it was sunny outside.

The little girl cat hybrid is now 4 years old, she still doesn't know how to control her transformation properly. Thus why she's in her cat form right now.

Her brothers, Hyuntae and Hyunjoon, were busy at the sand pit nearby playing with their toy trucks rather loudly, considering of the weird noises they make.

Chenle and Jisung were over at the Na residence, though don't get confused because Jaemin and Jeno aren't married yet, atleast.

The beta and alpha duo had came over to visit as it was Jisung's day off, meanwhile Chenle brought more gifts to spoil Jeno's children.

"I told you not to buy more toys Lele, they already have two toy chests in their bedroom keeping the other gifts that you bought," Jeno said mixing some grape juice.

The beta snorts, "I can buy another toy chest for my other gifts too if you want," he joked earning a tsk from the elder.

"I can't believe the triplets know how to walk around now, it was like yesterday they barely knew how to crawl," Jisung comments watching Hyejin run around and stop to see a lady bug on the flower.

The lady bug flies away once the little hybrid sniffed the plant as Hyejin meowed lightly trying to catch after the bug with her tiny paws.

"They grew up fast," Chenle hums helping Jeno finish up the snacks for the triplets. "Are you sure Jaemin took out all the cat nip outside?" He chuckled glancing at the only hybrid out of the triplets.

The blond omega laughed, "yes Lele, I'm sure Nana has got them all. I've scolded him many times before when Hyejin had took her first steps towards me, pretty sure he had enough of my nagging."

"Or maybe he was just bitter because all the kids had their first steps towards you instead of him," Jisung chuckled imagining Jaemin's bitter face.

Jeno laughed at his statement, not telling them it was actually accurate as Jaemin did get sulky when the triplets walked towards the omega while they didn't even acknowledge him.

"By the way, how are you and Mark doing?" Chenle asked opening the fridge as the mother of three kids had instructed him to get some fruits.

Jeno raised a brow at the question, "what do you mean? Mark and I are fine, but why ask that?" He chuckled lightly as a habit when feeling a bit awkward about something.

The beta shrugged his shoulders, "nothing, it's just that you two have that bond you know?" He said earning a weird look from his friend while his boyfriend pace palms.

Jeno paused for a moment before sighing, "is this about Jaemin and Mark hyung's non existent competition about me?" He guessed halting his actions on cutting some apples.

Chenle pursed his lips, "maybe?" He drawls scratching his neck awkwardly avoiding the omega's sensitive gaze at him after he found out.

"Are you guys assuming Mark and I have a fling going around? Look, we're just friends and we don't have anything between us except friendship. We're not fooling around behind Jaemin's back and I'm not cheating on my alpha." Jeno said angrily.

Chenle winced at the omega's words, he didn't expect that the subject had somehow gotten sensitive especially what could have happened behind closed doors between him and Jaemin. Jeno snapped.

Jisung clears his throat after sniffing the omega's scent, the smell of vanilla and hyacinth has gotten stronger and more icky. Jeno's upset.

"It's not because of that hyung, we're just wondering because–"

"Because Jaemin asked you to," the blond interrupts him with his pupils turned into thin slits and his ears twitching as he meowed lowly.

Chenle bit the inside of his cheek nervously, "we're sorry hyung, we didn't mean to bring this up and make you upset. It's just that Jaemin hyu–"

Once again, Jeno cuts in not letting him finish. "If Jaemin really has that big of a problem with Mark and I's bond then he can ask me about it privately. Not ask favors on his friends to confront me about it, he looks like a coward if he does that."

The beta and alpha duo went quiet, not wanting to upset their friend even more about the topic. He was right about it anyway, Jaemin should have confronted Jeno himself, not ask others around to talk to his mate.

Jaemin's an alpha for God's sake, he should know by now and use his damn confidence. Why can't he do that when it's their problem now instead of problems with other people.

To say the least, Jeno's upset and disappointed at his alpha. He just couldn't believe the man has the right mind to order his friends on asking a private conversation between them.

"We're sorry Jeno hyung, we promise not to butt in about it again. We'll leave the situation to you and Jaemin hyung to solve," Chenle mumbled after a while watching the elder place the cookies on the plate.

The blond sighed and gave a small kittenish smile, "when he actually gets his shit together," he tsked at the thought.

Jisung hums as Chenle changed the topic to lighten up the mood, the three walk out to the backyard and places the snacks on the small table for not only them but for the kids as well.

Speaking of kids, a loud cry was heard from near the sand pit as Jeno's mother instincts kicked in. His ears twitched and his tail slowed down its swaying.

"Which triplet was that?" Jisung asked rather dumbly considering of the high pitched cry they heard a second ago.

Chenle asked a slightly better question, "they're just playing–right?" He asked chuckling awkwardly looking at Jeno who was scanning the backyard.

The sand pit was somewhere near the corner, behind the playground set as it was slightly covered up by it making it unclear to see what's happening.

"Mommy!" The same high pitched cry shrieked resulting for Jisung to cover his ears as it almost sounded similar to his boyfriend's annoying shriek.

Meanwhile, Jeno's stomach churned having an idea on what could have possibly happen and why Hyejin cried out when she was just in cat form a few minutes ago.

The three adults run towards the sand pit and saw Hyejin crying with Hyuntae scolding Hyunjoon who was biting their sister's tail.

"Joon-ah! Stop that!" Jeno scolds grabbing the little boy away as Hyuntae helped their mother by releasing his brother's teeth on Hyejin's tail.

"I told you not to do that Hyunjoon, now mommy's mad!" The eldest triplet nagged at the second child.

Being the eldest of the three of them, Hyuntae had learned many things on how to be a proper leader by Jaemin as he felt like it was his duty.

It helped, obviously. Since Hyuntae was the most mature and responsible one, he had grown a promise to himself to protect his siblings. Especially Hyejin since she's the only hybrid and girl, not to mention the youngest too.

Meanwhile, Hyunjoon seemed to be the most bratty and irresponsible one. Not being able to control his inner wolf and had always been too playful to the point it can be violent or hurt someone.

Hyejin was mostly the victim since Hyuntae would always get mad at the playful sibling. The little girl was sensitive of course, she's an omega cat hybrid after all.

But alas, Hyunjoon seems to not thought of that first as he would start biting or pouncing at his little sister before the latter could do anything and Hyuntae to stop him.

It was usually biting and grabbing her tail, or sometimes ears when Hyejin was asleep. But yeah, he's a lot of work and patience to handle.

Hyunjoon pouts at the angry omega, bowing his head as he finally went back to his senses. "Sorry mommy, Hyunjoon got too playful again," he whispered.

Hyuntae was helping Chenle on curing Hyejin's tail as the little girl was sniffling. It was sort of like a routine by now.

The triplets play, Hyunjoon starts to get playful, Hyejin comes around, Hyunjoon starts attacking her non intentionally with his mind going in to puppy-wolf side, Hyuntae tries to stop him, Hyejin cries, Jeno stops them, and heals Hyejin's injuries.

"It's okay bub, just try not to get too violent okay?" Jeno sighed patting his son's head as they looked at Hyejin who walked towards her mother's arms.

The omega hugs her back patting her head as he looks at Hyunjoon, "why don't you apologize to your sister first before we can eat hm?" He said.

The little boy nodded his head hastily before joining in the hug and kissing his sister's cheek, "Joonie is sorry Jinnie," he said.

Hyejin sniffled and nodded her head with a meow, accepting his apology. Hyuntae then joins the hug and smiles at them, "cookies!" He cheered making them all laugh.
