"are you sure you got everything?" Jeno asked with his mother like worried tone as he held Hyejin in his arms who was playing with her neatly done pigtails.

Winwin laughed with a nod, "Jeno, I'm your colleague in the daycare, this is basically the same except with lesser kids and I'm taking care of someone's children whom I know." He said.

The hybrid sighed and nodded stiffly, "I'm just worried," he said glancing at Hyunjoon who was having a little staring contest with Yuta.

"Don't worry mama, I will help Winwin hyung with my siblings. Just like how I help mama too!" Hyuntae cheered smiling brightly as he held Jeno's hand.

The blond smiled, "thank you TaeTae," he said as he leaned down to kiss the little boy's cheek who giggled at him.

"But call me if you need anything, don't let them stay up all night and–" he began to rant again as his friend only laughed.

"Relax Jen," Jaemin said approaching his boyfriend and placing a gentle hand on his lower back, "Winwin knows what to do, you trust him right?" He said reassuringly.

Jeno pursed his lips before nodding, "I suppose," he mumbled letting Winwin take Hyejin in his own arms with the little girl distracted.

"Hey, atleast you have me and not just Yuta. God knows what we'd do if he did something," Winwin said earning a glare from his lover.

"What do you mean? I'm great with kids!" Yuta said a bit offended at his boyfriend.

"Hey Mr! Your baby is gonna bite the carpet mommy bought," Hyunjoon points at the little boy that was crawling on the dirty living room floor.

"Yuta." Winwin drawls the man's name with his tone stern as if it was a warning.

"Sorry!" The alpha said rushing to pick up his son who was just an inch closer to start chewing on the dirty carpet. "See? I got him!" He exclaimed happily.

Winwin rolled his eyes at him and turns back to his friend, "don't worry too much, you called us here for help, yeah? Go have fun with Jaemin and your friends at the party, relax for tonight," he smiled.

The hybrid smiled and nodded as he gave soft kisses on the triplets' foreheads, "I love you all, behave while mommy and daddy are out for tonight okay?"

The triplets nodded obediently as Hyejin's tail smacked herself in the eye making Hyunjoon giggle at her while Hyuntae patted her leg for comfort.

"Bye mommy and daddy!" The siblings said in sync waving at their parents after giving them equal kisses.

The two adults smiled waving back before heading outside towards Jaemin's car, "ready?" The alpha said turning the engine on.

The hybrid nodded as he put some chapstick on his lips instead of lipstick. "I guess so," he said and buckled on his seatbelt.

Jaemin chuckled and squeezed his hand on his lover's thigh as he had his other one on the wheel, "don't fret too much tonight yeah?" He said earning a small meow.

After an hour or two in the party, dancing with their friends, congratulating Minghao and Jun's reunion, having small talks, enjoying the food, Jeno is drunk. Full on hammered.

One second ago he was still babbling about how he wants to go home already and check on the triplets, the next he's chugging down on his eighth glass.

"Another one please~" the hybrid slurred with a giggle looking at the bartender who was one of Minghao's friends, Dino.

"Slow down Jen," Renjun chuckled sipping on his fourth glass slowly while eyeing his mate who was embarrassing himself in beerpong.

Chenle and Jisung were somewhere around, probably at the backyard doing who knows what, Renjun bets they're going to pull a prank on one of them again. Thus he stayed inside.

Mark was there as well, to Jaemin's dismay.

Somehow, even after sharing his emotions and secrets about his jealousy towards his lover's colleague, it didn't really change their –non existent– "competition" into cooperation.

The brunet was still bitter and sulky whenever the Canadian boy was mentioned or around, Mark just somewhat gets on his nerves without even doing anything.

Well for others atleast, for Jaemin though, he did do something. And that is getting closer to his beloved.

It's no surprise that alphas can be competitive, possessive and protective. They will claim what's theirs and will fight for it.

Jeno is someone Jaemin will fight for, he is very special to the brunet.

He's someone that understands Jaemin's anger issues, and self control on his inner wolf. He has that much patience and love towards the scary alpha.

Yes he's still scared, there are still times where the elder would get out of hand and would start getting hostile, he would transform into his wolf form or sometimes is about to.

Thus, that's how much Jaemin loves Jeno. The blond is with him even after how he treated him before.

Another few minutes into the party, Jaemin walks over to the mini bar as he looks around, "hey, have you seen Jeno?" He asked.

Renjun shrugged, "I saw him going to the restroom but that's about it," he paused just blinking slowly. "But you can try sniffing his scent," he bursted into fits of giggles.

Clearly the fox hybrid is also drunk, not paying attention on where his best friend went in this crowded area with so many strangers around.

Jaemin rolled his eyes, "thanks," he muttered before turning around to walk over to the restrooms. "Useless advise," he snorts sarcastically.

How the hell can he sniff out his mate's scent when there's too many people in this place? Not to mention the only scents he could smell are alcohol and weed.

He sighed after checking the restrooms and slamming the door shut when he passes two guys literally fucking on the sink.

"Dear God," he grumbled glancing at his watch. 11:46 pm, they were supposed to be leaving about a while ago, but he spent those few minutes to find his drunk as fuck boyfriend.

"Hey Lele, do you know where Jeno could have been?" He asked approaching Chenle who was filming Haechan try another round of beerpong, to their embarrassment.

The beta hums, "if he's not in the bathroom then try checking the rooms upstairs, usually people go up there for privacy or to get away with the chaos." He said.

Jaemin thanks him as Jisung was laughing at Haechan yelling, "fuck this shit! Someone shove these balls up my ass."

The brunet werewolf heaved a long sigh glancing at his watch and sending a short message to Winwin asking if the triplets were alright because they'll be back soon.

Now he just needs to find Jeno.
