Jeno had went home earlier than usual, he had called Renjun to pick him up at the daycare since he felt sick.

Renjun came to the daycare and immediately drove him home, luckily he still has the keys to the house because Jeno had misplaced them somewhere in his bag.

The fox hybrid also brought along his mate, they were at their new house and checked the place before they could settle in. They are still living with Jaemin but will move out in a few days.

Renjun parks the car as Jeno felt like vomiting. The fox hybrid rushes out to open the door while Haechan helps the cat hybrid out of the car.

They bring Jeno to the couch as the boy started to sweat, Haechan placed the back of his hand on the hybrid's forehead, "are you in heat?" He mumbles.

Renjun checks the date, "shit, he is," he cussed as Jeno clutched onto the pillow from the couch. "Did you take your pills?" He asked and stood up to head to the kitchen.

The cat hybrid meowed lowly and shuts his eyes, "y-yes," he stammers as Haechan turned on the AC in the living room. He felt hot all over the place and he could feel his slick in his underwear.

Renjun comes back with food and water as he rushed to his friend's side. "Drink this," he instructed, Jeno took the glass of water and gulps it all down.

Haechan was about to take Jeno's sweater off since his mate instructed him to do and because the boy was yowling and sweating so much. The door opened and in comes Jaemin with his briefcase.

The alpha took a sniff and immediately growled, he looks at the cat hybrid and glared as Renjun packed the food and water, "He's in heat," he said.

Jaemin scoffed, "get him out of here, stupid cat," he said as Haechan picked Jeno up and took him to his room while Renjun goes to the fridge and grabs a few bottles of water and a damp towel.

The werewolf looks at the spot where Jeno was sitting and groans, "fucking cat peed again," he mutters when he saw a yellow stain on the couch.

"I'll clean it up," Renjun said sighing as Jaemin tsked and went up the stairs to head over to his room. Before he could take the last step, the fox hybrid spoke again, "come down here later after dinner, we'll have a meeting."

They all ate dinner together, except for Jeno and Chenle who were stuck in the cat hybrid's room for the boy's sake. The platinum blond was whining and crying as he felt nothing but pain.

Chenle had came over with Jisung when they were informed of a little meeting, they already knew what it was about since it has always been their concerns.

The beta had turned on the AC and placed some ice packs for the hybrid while the latter was soaked in sweat, water and slick as the sheets were also damped by them.

Chenle had offered to stay with him at dinner time and did his best to take care of Jeno, he fed him and gave him what he needed.

The boy was only wearing his underwear since it was too hot and kept meowing whenever he felt another pain in his stomach.

Renjun knocks on the door and slowly opens it, he immediately felt a bit lightheaded from the strong scent of Hyacinth and Vanilla filling in the room, "Christ," he mutters.

Chenle was about to stand up but Jeno was clinging onto his arm, "I don't think I can move," he awkwardly said as Renjun pursed his lips.

The fox walked closer and handed out a familiar hoodie, "that's why I brought this," he said as Chenle raised a brow and examines the garment.

"Isn't that Jaemin's," he looks up as Renjun rolled his eyes while Jeno made a whine hearing the werewolf's name.

The fox shrugged, "exactly," he gave a look as Chenle made a sound of realization, "don't worry, he won't know until it's at the laundry," he adds.

Chenle rolled his eyes before they carefully withdraw Jeno's grip on the beta's arm and switched it with the hoodie.

The cat hybrid took a sniff and immediately snuggles onto the hoodie as Chenle stood up and looked at Renjun, they both gave each other a high-five before quietly leaving the room.

Jeno was left there on the bed snuggling on the hoodie and slowly made his own nest.

Renjun scans the living room as the four of them looked at Jaemin who had his eyebrows furrowed. The fox sighed, "why the hell are we having a meeting?" Jaemin asked.

Haechan places his hand on Renjun's thigh, "we need to talk about you and Jeno," he said.

Jaemin then scowled at them, "there's nothing to talk about me and that dumb cat," he snaps as the others sighed.

Chenle places his glass of wine down on the table, "Jaemin, you and Jeno both don't have a mate. Why not be each other's mate?" He suggested.

Jaemin scoffed, "no way in fuck am I being that brainless cat's mate, he could find someone else," he shrugs and leans back.

"But Jaemin, he went over to you when he got injured a few weeks ago, he went to you, not us." Jisung protested, "you're perfect for the role, you can be his mate." He adds

The alpha clicks his tongue, "I don't want a mate, I don't even care of having one, let alone him," he said as Haechan rolled his eyes.

"If you really think that would happen, then you're an idiot of an alpha," Renjun retorts making Jaemin let out a growl as he lets out strong pheromones.

"Don't fucking talk to me that way," he threatens, "I am an alpha!" He yelled as he stood up with clenched fists.

You see, Jaemin has anger issues, not because he's an alpha but because he just does. Hell, Jisung's an alpha but he doesn't have anger issues.

Renjun was about to stand up but his mate held him by the waist as Chenle and Jisung pushed Jaemin to sit back down.

Haechan sighed and ruffles his hair as he observed the angry werewolf, "if you truly don't want Jeno to be your mate, then atleast warm up to him to be your friend," he said with a stern tone.

Jaemin scoffed and stood up, "that won't happen, I fucking hate that cat," he retorts before storming off to his room while slamming the door shut.

Renjun sighed loudly as the others went silent, Jisung rubbed his temples as Chenle was thinking. "He'll realize soon," Haechan said to lighten the mood up, "I'm sure of it."

Jisung raised his head up as Chenle stood up and went back to Jeno's room, "how can you be so sure? He's literally an asshole when it comes to Jeno," he said in annoyance.

He cares for the cat hybrid so much as if they were like siblings, and if their alpha in the pack acts that way to his brother-like friend, He's not letting the older have it.

Haechan leans back as Renjun snuggled on his chest, "because," he runs his fingers through his mate's hair, "alphas are competitive, since Jaemin was so sure he'd prove to us that he and Jeno won't be mates, his plans will be backfired."

Jisung slowly raised a brow, "so you're saying..." He hesitantly starts as Haechan smirked.

"Yes Jisung, it's like saying you won't have a crush on the certain person and will prove it to your friends but will slowly fall in love while at it," he answers as the others slowly smirked.

They all looked at each other and laughed, "He's in denial," they said in sync.
