Hello. You've made it to this book. The purpose of this book was mainly to mourn over the loss of Jason, but other characters deaths will be included.

Now if you are wondering why I'm upset over Jason's death, as of the time I wrote this author's note, it is the same day I finished the 'Burning Maze'.

So yes, lots of feels.

This was also because I felt his death was too much for the opponent he was facing.

He had fought titans and giants before, yet he fell before a non-legitimate god-emperor. He was one of the seven, and he gone through so many trials and tribulations. He had survived through so much, and had died at the hands of a fake god.

So yes, I was emotional when I found out he died, even though he was never my favourite HOO character. He deserved better though, I felt, as a character.

Yes, he was just another character in another storybook.

But he was a remember, memorialised character in people's mind all over the world.

And the belief and remembrance of one character, in so many people, is impactful and striking. He may have never lived and was only a fictional piece of art. It is however, because he is remembered by many, it is what makes it powerful.

This is why I felt some need to write these short stories. About how some people can impact other people world's so greatly, real living people can hurt for fictional people too.
