BUILD POV

It's already afternoon when I woke up. Bible is not beside me anymore but he left a note saying that he will be in a hotel restaurant and he will wait for me there.

I do some stretching first before I go down the bed, shower, and fix myself. My step is in a hurry when I remember that they might be waiting for me or maybe Bible is waiting for me there for a long already. I know him. He is not comfortable in a new place with so many people and knows no one. He will only feel relieved if he sees someone he knows or if I'm there.

As soon as I enter the restaurant, I immediately saw my companions. Who will not? Apo being hyper as always is enough sign of where the group of people I am looking for is. His loud voice and everything are enough to easily find them. My eyes immediately looked for Bible and just as I thought, he is on the other side of the table near the wall, seriously looking at his phone, not minding all the noise of Apo. He and his introverted ass again. Well, I myself, am also an introvert, but he is on the other level. I can still mingle with others, and join the chaos of the group but at the end of the day, I'm drained and want to be alone. However, the Bible is way different. If he is not comfortable with anyone or not comfortable with the place, he will just enter his own world and stay there. Unless you speak to him, he will remain silent in one corner.

"Hey." I greeted everyone at the table. I scan all their faces so that I can tell who is still not here. Luckily, phi Mile, phi Tong, phi Pond, and 10 more are not here yet. I'm not late.

"Did you sleep well?" Nodt asked as soon as he turn his head to me. He gives me a bright smile as always.

"Yeah. The room is comfortable." I answer.

"Of course it is. Bible is your roommate." Apo said looking at me with his naughty smile.

I shook my head. He and his words sometimes make me think that he had seen through me. I mean, he knows about my feelings about Bible. And I don't want anyone to know about it, specially Apo who loves teasing me every day or every time we meet. It's as if his day is not complete if he doesn't tease me. It's okay with me though. As long as he is happy, it's fine with me. He never hurt me physically and his joke is not below the belt. But if he knows about who is Bible to me, for sure, he will tease me about it and others will surely get an idea about it. That is what I don't like.

I head towards Bible. I tap his shoulder and sit beside him. Us being both left-handed is a good excuse so that I can stick with him all the time.

"Hey, how's your sleep?" Bible asked. I put away his phone.

"Good. I sleep well but am still tired. I want to sleep more." Sagot ko.

"You can sleep later after the meal."

"Nah. I want to visit the beach."

I looked outside. Luckily the restaurant has a glass wall. We can see everything outside from our seats. Shady and windy. It looks like it's going to rain at any moment.

"Maybe that can wait tomorrow." Bible said.

"I think so." I shrugged my shoulder. It's okay to walk on the beach even in this weather, but when it rains, that's a different story.

"Let's get more sleep first. Then, tomorrow morning, let's explore the shore." Bible said. I look at him and nod my head.

"Bui, what do you want to eat? P'Mile said that we can order first. They are also coming down." Nodt, said as he approach us.

I look at the menu on the table. "What do you want Bible?" I simply asked as I scanned the menu. Pure seafood and I love all of it. If only I could order everything. "I want them all." I murmured and pursed my lips.

"I'll order for both of us. They might have arrived already, you haven't chosen anything yet."

I look at the Bible and smile. "Thank you." Then I look at Nodt. "Just ask him. He shops faster than me."

"As usual. Why did it take you so long to choose? It's not clothes." Nodt answered, shaking his head.

I just laughed and looked away from him. I can see jealousy in his eyes but I don't want to believe it. Maybe I'm just seeing it wrong. Eyes can also lie, right?

After five minutes, Bible gave his order to Nodt. He ordered quite a lot and when I asked him why, he gave me two reasons. First is its company expenses, we should take advantage of it, especially in food. Second, he is hungry. He only has french toast for breakfast and a cup of coffee and it's already four in the afternoon. I just said okay.

Bible is a big eater like Apo, but his difference from Apo is that he will only eat once or twice. He will eat a lot in one go, then his next meal well will be on the next day unless, of course, I force him to eat something I have. Apo, on the other hand, is really a foodie. He loves to eat from time to time especially if he sees new dishes or snacks. He will not miss any of it.

After a few minutes, P'Mile and the rest of our companions arrived. They order immediately because they are hungry. The restaurant became crowded and loud. P'Pond will never call us a kindergarten mafia for nothing. We are like a bunch of naughty children together and P'Pond became our mother instantly, reminding us to behave or town down whatever we are doing.

"Any plan for two days vacation Bui?" Nodt asked. He transfer to our table when P'Mile arrives. He is sitting beside Apo before and he said that P'Mile should sit there. Even Ta is with us as he wants to eat peacefully first. Us and P'Tong also sit with us.

"Sleep. I said as I scoop curry seafood and put it on Bible's plate who is not minding anyone and just focus on his food.

"Seriously? With so many things to do here at the resort, you will just sleep?" It's Us.

"I need sleep. I'm so exhausted. Taping for the series, practice for the world tour. If I can have 3 weeks' vacation, I will just sleep." I answer. I scoop another dish and put it on Bible's plate, then I scoop another one and put it also on my plate.

"How about you Ble?" Us asked Bible.

"Let's see. But I will drag Build with me for sure. He needs exercise too." Bible look at me and smirked.

"As if you can." I smirked back but I was somehow happy that he want me to join him in anything he do.

"I can Build. I can easily carry you out of the bed, put you in the bathroom, and under the shower to wake you up. I'll drag your lazy ass with me." Bible said with a naughty smile on his lips. Damn it! My heart is slowly melting.

"They have a fire dance every night. Let's watch it later or maybe tomorrow. I already asked the staff if they can teach us also and they said yes. Build can easily do that. You're a band leader way back in high school right?" Nodt asked me.

"Yeah. Twirling things is easy for me, but fire dance or twirling something with fire on it, I don't know." I said and put food in my mouth.

"Performer will be our guide. Besides, I am also there. Do you think I will allow you to get hurt?" Nodt said as he scoop food from his plate. When he lifts his head, he looked directly at me and give me a smile.

"Let's watch later if they have any performance. Don't just stay in our room and play online games. It's a must experience, Build." Bible said. He put shrimp on my plate. He already peeled it for me.

"You got excited aren't you?" I asked. Knowing Bible, he likes extreme things. Fire dancing pokes his interest and he wants me to drag to it again just like how he dragged me to learn pole dancing."

"Well, fire dance performers amaze me. It's a dangerous dance but they can do it easily. It's a fire after all. I want to at least learn the basics and have a small knowledge of their experience. How they feel, what they endured just to give people a great show."

"Then, you learn. I'll just watch." I said and put the shrimp he peeled into my mouth. It's delicious because Bible peeled it for me.

"No. You will learn with me."

"But..."

"You choose. You will learn that fire dance or I will drag you every morning to exercise with me." Bible tilted his head to his right and give me a loop side smile.

"Fine. I go with you with this fire dance, just don't wake me too early."

"Good. It's a deal then." Then Bible turns his head to Nodt. I do the same. The sadness in Nodt eyes is too visible. "Will they perform tonight?"

"Yeah, if it doesn't rain. They perform in the seashore to avoid any accident that the fire can cause." Nodt, answer lifelessly.

"Then, let's do it later, Build." Bible said. He picked another shrimp and peeled it then he put it on my plate.

"Fine."

"But before that, can we go to the park? I want to do skateboarding there. There is a park near here, the front desk said earlier." Nodt said while looking at me.

"Did you bring your skateboard?" I asked back.

"Yeah. I bring two of them. I can lend you the other one."

"Okay. I miss skateboarding too."

"Be careful not to fall, Build." Bible butt in.

"He is with me. I will take care of him. Or wanna come with us?" Nodt asked Bible.

"Nah. You two can go. I need to finish some schoolwork so that I can submit all of them before our practice for the world tour starts. Just make sure that he will not fall. You know his back condition."

"I will."

"Us, tell me. Why do we have a beautiful friend here?" P'Tong suddenly butted in giving me a suspicious look and a naughty smile.

"I don't know phi. What is your skincare routine Build? Care to share it with us?" Us said looking at me with a mischievous smile.

"What are you talking about?" I confusedly asked.

"Nothing. You are just too beautiful that two men is so whipped on you. Sad to say one of them will be brokenhearted soon."

I frowned at them. What are they talking about? I don't get it.
