He attacked the Devloka with his Asura army;

Defeating and crushing the Deva army;

Devas had a hasty retreat;

Darika usurped Indradev's position and seat;

Devas went to seek help from Narada;

Who in turn sought help from Lord Shiva;

He asked Mahadev to intervene and wipe out Adharma;

Attacking the weak, troubling revered sages is against Dharma;

Mahadev opened his third eye to create Bhadrakali;

One of the fiercest forms of Goddess Shakti;

They would say she was Goddess Durga's reprise;

Her jet black face bore three eyes;

A garland of human skulls hung on her body that was gaunt;

Raw fury on her face would surely make Asuras daunt;

Her blood smeared tongue was stretched out giving them goosebumps forever;

Her black hair was like a tempestuous river;

She had sixteen arms, each arm had an astra;

She was on a mission to liberate universe and Asuras;

Veerabhadra is her brother, Mahadev is her father;

Shakti is her mother, she has no reason to fear.
