''Your Majesty," I said, as I entered Iskender's chambers. He sat down at his working desk and I could see him making crafts with the beautiful jewelry that was there. There were diamonds and rubies, and I had never in my life had the opportunity to see such beautiful crystals.

''Bezmialem, my love! Come here,'' he said, as he showed me to sit in his lap. The fact that he had already called me his love, despite the fact that I had only been in the harem for two weeks, filled my heart with joy. During those two weeks, each night he called for me, which of course made the other maids angry at me, especially Sureyya and those maids who came the same day I did, but because of me, didn't have the opportunity to meet Iskender and become his favourites.

''I didn't know you were good at making jewelry,'' I said when I saw the most beautiful diamond necklace I had ever seen in my life.

''It's for my mother. Do you like it?'' he asked me and looked at me with a smile. I shouldn't even say a word when my look gave him the real view of how I was fascinated with the beauty of it.

''It's the most beautiful one I have seen in my life,'' I said, smiling back at him.

''It's nothing compared to your beauty,'' Iskender said, as he carefully placed the necklace aside, and then placed his one hand around me and his other hand on my cheeks. Our eyes met, and our noses were so close we could feel each other's breath when our lips met in a passionate kiss.

''I have a surprise for you,'' Iskender said, and he placed his hand in front of me. He put a blindfold on my eyes and took me with him. I didn’t see anything in front of me, but he was guiding the path. For the whole way there, in a place I had no idea where we were going, I held Iskender’s hand.

The only thing I knew was that we left his chambers, as I could hear the doors closing, but the direction wasn’t known to me since I hadn’t seen anything in front of my eyes. At that moment, I heard a knock and the sound of doors opening. Iskender took my hand and walked inside with me. He took the blindfold from my eyes and when I saw in front of myself the huge chambers with a giant wardrobe full of dresses and jewelry.

‘’Iskender?’’ I asked him confused, as I had no idea what surprise he could give me here. I knew he wouldn’t gift me with chambers as I wasn’t pregnant, nor was I a Sultana.

‘’I know how you said you don’t like sharing a room with Sureyya, so I ordered maids to prepare special new chambers only for you,’’ Iskender said and smiled to me, then took my hand and led me to the wardrobe, a special little part of the chambers.

‘’Efsun Kalfa said to me how happy you were when I gifted you with new dresses and jewelry, so I decided to gift you now with hundreds of them. Because this is nothing compared to what you deserve,’’ he said, and our eyes met once again.

I didn’t know from happiness what to even say to him or how to thank him. I just ran into a hug with him and wouldn’t let him go. He cared about the things I talked about, and he gave his everything to make me happy, even though I would never have asked for something like this.

"I don't know if I am dreaming or this is the truth," I said and Iskender just smiled at my words. No words were able to thank him enough for this. Each woman loved to be gifted with gifts and presents so did I but this was something I could have never expected to happen.

"This is how your everyday is going to be. I have to spoil a woman I love so much and without who I can't imagine to live anymore, so you will have to get used to it," Iskender said while I stil didn't let him go out of the hug.

"I don't need presents only thing I want you is to always be next to you and I will be happy enough," I said to him.

Moments of happiness like those in my head would always destroy the fact I always remember Dilruba and Davut's words and why for real I am here. I always feel guilty even though if I knew that after only two weeks of being here I fell in love with Iskender and couldn't do anything bad to him, nor even think about someone else doing something bad to him.

"Meleki," Iskender shouted and young girl with blonde hair came inside and bowed to him. I have already seen her somewhere around in Harem but had no idea who she was.

"Your Majesty," Meleki said and bowed to him without even daring to look at him but rather looked at me confused.

"From now on I want you to be next to Bezmialem. Nothing shouldn't happen to her and I want someone to be always next to her to not let her be alone," Iskender said and I had no idea why would he give me a maid when I was not a Sultana nor was I pregnant and I had no idea why is he doing this all for me.

Meleki just nodded with her head before she left my new chambers. I didn't know her and I wouldn't like to be always next to someone I can't believe.

"Why did you do it?" I asked him as something was weird to me here. There was no reason for this and I was completely lost.

"Because I don't want you to be alone in those chambers with no one taking care of you. Harem is not heaven and since you are my favourite many women would do anything to get rid of you to get place in my heart, but what they don't know is that my heart beats only for you," Iskender said once again melting my heart with his sweet words.

"But who is she when you trust her so much?" I asked him as I still couldn't feel safe until I knew everything about her.

"Her mother died while she was young and Kosem Sultana took her to the Palace. She practically grew up here and learnt everything. When I came to the throne, she decided to stay here and she confessed me my love, even though she can never be with me. She knows to fight and if anything bad happens she will protect you with her life," Iskender said.
