Prologue
Rin felt the sharp pain as the chidori sliced through her flesh, leaving blood in the wake, she managed to utter out words. "Ka-kashi..." then her world went black as she saw a figure race toward them. After hours of her body just sitting there on top of a lake of blood that the white-swirled mask figure had caused, she saw someone, but everything was to dark. All Rin knew was she wasn't dead.
Rin looked around the dark barren room, the only thing that made it seem like a house were the engravings on the walls. Each were elaborate with intricate patterns completely unique from any other in the room. It hurt the young brunette to move, but she managed to get her fingers onto the design. They were hand made by a small and precise weapon. By now Rin had realized that the former ninja outfit she had been wearing was no longer on her. Now Rin wore a black handcrafted sweater and shorts.
She looked toward one of the only sources of light, a small window parallel to her. Rin frowned, it wasn't the forest she was looking forward to, it was simply barren wasteland that outstretched with small dead trees. The landscape was like nothing she's seen before or read in history textbooks. There was another room connected to hers, the walls were completely made out of wood, dark wood. The floors felt like the incarnate of death as she put her fragile foot down. If moving her arms hurt, walking was like she was walking on the chidori's.
Rin made it to the door, and as she reached out her hand, the door softly opened, bringing her face to face with her healer. Short obsidian hair, pale, purple. Colors were the only things Rin could make out. The female in front of her instantly reacted by scooping Rin into her arms and placing her back into the unflowered white sheets of the mini bed. Rin then realized the aching pain in her stomach wasn't just from the scar that the blade left, but because she hadn't been feed or hydrated in possibly days. "Wait." RIn managed to croak, her hoarse voice leaving her chapped lips.
Rin's healer only gave her a nod, before leaving the room, presumably to get something for Rin to eat and drink.
