Chapter Four
THE PLOT SHALL BE THICCENING. THE PLOT HAS BECOME THICC. Also like FOURTH WALL BREAKING EXPERINCE, first one to find it recives an instantanous follow and will get the next chapter dedicated to them. Btw this is all the prewriting I have and I fucking love it. I re-wrote this because the first version of it was shitty.

Rin stood, right outside of the front door, gaping at what she thought would be the lush meadows of Konoha. That's when Rin remembered, they covered up the window with pictures because she didn't like the barren, depressing, arid, soil that surrounded them. There were no cacti, it was nothing like Suna, it wasn't even like Iwa, everything was rock hard and a brownish-red. If Rin were to kick the mountain, she would break her bone before she even injured the rocks beneath.
Thana knew of the utmost vagary change Rin would be going through. With all of their drawings of exuberant greens from Konoha, which covered the one window and grew to cover the mirror, there was no way Rin wasn't feeling disappointment. "Am I allowed to leave soon." Rin choked out, falling to her knees, as if with that one phrase all the oxygen was sucked right out of her. I wish you could, I wish I could... "Its... not possible." Thana started to shake her head, the thoughts of freedom still lingering in her gaze.
But seriously, Rin couldn't breathe.
LIKE RIN COULDN'T BREATH.
Rin clawed at her neck, "oh, I guess when that damn Ala left she forgot to set the oxygen back to normal." The cold, humid air shivered around them from the breeze that swept through. It wasn't them too. Thana hoisted Rin over her shoulder, the neon purple eyes behind a half skull mask shining in the mid sunlit noon.
--
Rin blinked, one second she was choking, the next she was back in her room, covered by silk white sheets that felt like fresh, summer gusts of air. The cocoa haired female was expecting to have no feeling, she thought she was dead. But the drawing on the walls, and the pain in her throat gasping for air told a different tale. She was still alive. Rin was still alive. Vibrant drawing colored the walls, making her feel a bit better. There was some more furniture, and something she hadn't seen for a long time, meat.
There was steak right next to her on a bedside table. But there was one thing she freezes up at. Next to the meat, there was a hand held mirror. Slowly Rin reached over to grab the mirror, before shaking her head. This was no time to be self conscious, Kakashi wasn't here, so she wouldn't be embarrassed. Or perhaps the Author just wanted to add suspense to the truth being revealed in this chapter later on. Just maybe the Author wanted to add more words to this chapter, just to taunt the fans. All of the theories were extraordinary reasoned and true.
Rin grabbed the plate with the steak, ignoring the mirror just for now. There was steak with what she could assume to be some corn, a small dish of strawberries, and a glass of orange juice. Rin knew by now, whoever made this food wasn't trying to hurt her, she could only assume that the one who made it was either Thana, or her roommate, Zephyr. Rin could sense a dislikeness between the two, but decided to keep it to herself.
She shoveled the food and drink down her throat, filling her empty void of a stomach with tasty, yet nutritious treats. She gulped down the orange juice, which wasn't too sour like most others she's tried. For some reason, this felt like a five-star restaurant. Just as the pain in her neck faded, she reached over for the mirror, only to be cut off by knocking on the door. "Um... come in? I'm awake." Thana opened the door, gracing Rin with her new appearance. "You were out cold for a couple days." Thana got right down to business.
Rin blinked, "what happened."
"You see, I didn't consider the possibility of the water vapor or oxygen to be lacking compared to inside." Thana explained, while Rin just stared out into space. "Luckily, I was able to get you inside before any permanent damage happened." Rin didn't follow her one bit. It was as if she was speaking in a foreign language. "Were you affected by it?" Thana avoided her question. "See, you need oxygen to survive, and without water vapor, you could dry up like right away. It'd be heartbreaking for you to become a shriveled up little toad. That's just how this mountain works."
Rin paused before she would have asked another stupid question that would just get shot down. How this mountain works. No one ever scaled this mountain, because their chakra would start getting unstable, and eventually disappear. Rin couldn't feel Thana's chakra, it was as if she had none. Rin felt the faintest glimmer of her chakra. "Do you have chakra?" The question raced around Rin's mind. There was no way she could survive without chakra. Chakra was the foundation of life. But this mountain had no chakra. "Have you looked in the mirror?" Thana answered, the kind, answering tone from before, along with the smile, had been wiped off her face.
"Do you have chakra." Rin growled, leaning closer to the second female in the room, her chocolate orbs only inches away from Thana's neon purple. "Look in the mirror." Thana stated in a bland tone, not backing down from the furious Rin. "If I look in the mirror, will you answer my question and explain." Thana gave a curt nod. As she nodded, the cocoa haired female reached for the hand held mirror. Rin grabbed the mirror and looked at her reflection. "What..." Rin was... older.
It was as if everything was changed. "Is this me." Rin spoke in shock, confusion and awe. Thana closed her eyes and gave a nod. "I thought..." Rin trailed off,not knowing what to say. She slowly raised her pale hand up to her cheek, seeing the reflection doing the same. "Explain... please," Rin uttered out her thoughts as Thana cleared her voice. "Rin, as you probably know by now." Rin looked up to Thana.
"You're supposed to be dead."
