Your eyes are closed, concealing all the thoughts and worries that they rue,

I know when you wake, you'll go to your mirror and stare,

You'll point out a blemish, then fizzle with your crazy hair,

But darling dearest, can't you see, even though your eyes are like a rangers,

You're so used to your own features, you don't realize how beautiful you are in the eyes of a stranger's,

I wrap my arms around you, and kiss you tenderly,

Stroke your just bellow your belly button, and tell you 'beauty is all I see',

You smile, but you never believe me, just thank me and continue your job,

I then step away and watch you, I don't encourage you to stop.

For while you strip out of your jammies, your naked body just for me to see,

I wonder if I'll ever find a way to convince you - find a way that eventually will make your eyes agree.
