"Okay" Jackson said. "I think it's time for rules"

I rolled my eyes.

"And the first one is to not have an attitude" he said, eyes narrowing.
I refrained from rolling them again.

"The second one is you have to have someone with you at all times when you leave the house." I was about to stand up and protest when he gave me a glare.

"Third is you can't run away again. Especially when it's been freezing. And when we have enemies everywhere and they could end up harming you."

"Fourth is you will listen to us, all of us, and do as we say without arguing. It most likely won't even be that big of a request."

"Fifth is if we say no, it means no. Not buts or ifs. It's most likely for your own good, anyway."

"That's it, but We will add on if necessary. Understood"
I nodded and walked back into my room.

I was kind of annoyed by the rules, but I guess I understand them.

I laid on my bed, just listening to music; usually bands like p!atd and mcr. Or 5 seconds of summer;they're my babes.

I begin to read a book that was on my bedside table and, eventually, fell asleep.

I woke up with a scream, panting as I glace at the clock. I fell asleep fairly early, and seeing I slept until 3 in the morning. Lovely.

The shadows on the walls began to start to look like moving objects, or people, or some other thing that bas managed to scare the living daylights out of me.

I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking about my nightmare. And I felt as though I was being watched, which was not a good feeling.

I quickly made my way out of my room, and went to the closest bedroom, which happened to be Aidens.

I quietly walk in and she shuffles a bit on the bed.

"Aidens" I whisper, shaking him.

"Aiden, wake up" I shake him harder.

"Aaron?" He asked, finally waking up. "What's wrong?"

"I had a nightmare" I whisper. "Can I sleep in here? Please?"

He lifted up the comforter and I crawled in. We faced each other, not saying anything.

"Stop staring at me ya creep" he said.

I blushed, "Ill stop when you do".

"Why are you so far away? I don't have cooties, I promise" I laughed at That.

I scooted closer to him and he wrapped an arm around me.

"I miss my mom" I whisper.

"I know"

"Aiden?"

"Yes Aaron?"

"I felt like someone was watching me before I came in here" he tensed.

"What do you mean?"

"Like, I felt as though someone was staring at me. And the shadows kept changing and looked scary, and just everything was creeping me out."

"Well youre in here now, no one will get you here. I promise."

I shuffled a bit closer to him and we both, finally, fell asleep.

I woke up feeling something dripping on me, and quiet chanting. I open my eyes and immediately made eye contact with someone, who was definitely not in the pack. The persons eyes were closed and they were dripping their blood on me and chanting words.

I also realized aiden was gone. I screamed bloody murder and his eyes flew open. He began to chant the words faster, but he was interrupted by the door slamming open. He realized he couldn't finish whatever the hell he was doing.

I haven't stopped screaming either, even when he was gone. I began to hyperventilate, tears streaming down my face. I began to feel dizzy, my head and body becoming numb. I was shaking uncontrollably and I curled myself up in a ball, hoping to shut out the world.

Jackson pulled me into his lap and hugged me, trying to make sure I don't pass out from lack of oxygen; I couldn't breath. I couldn't think. Fae ran, got a washcloth, and began wiping all the blood from my body, and wiping my face down too.

It was only jackson, Fae, and aiden in the room at the moment; I'm guessing everyone else tried to chase down whatever the hell that thing was.

"Are you okay? Oh my gosh, youre obviously not okay. Uh, uhm, do you need water, food, anything? I'll get it fo-" aiden rambled before jackson interrupted him, and telling him to shut up.

"Are you okay A?" Jackson asked softly. I shook my head, but I began to calm down a tad.

"Youre okay now." Is all Fae said before she left the room. I was still shaking, and crying, but at least I could actually breathe now.

"I swear I'm going to kill him" aiden growled. Like actually growled.

"I think you should try to get some rest." Jackson said as he gently laid me down on the bed.

"Please, don't leave me in here alone" I begged him.

"I won't. Aiden will stay in here with you" aiden nodded as he climbed on the opposite side of the bed, and wrapping an arm around me. I let my head rest on his shoulder, and he ran his fingers through my hair to soothe me.

"Alright, I'll see you two for lunch, alright?" I glanced at the clock seeing as it was 9 I'm the morning. 

I closed my eyes again and let aiden cuddle me, and sometimes, I cuddled closer. I needed to know someone was there.

Someone always had to be there.
