Foreword

And here it is, my second entry into ONC of the year of our lord 2025. I was debating going with three, but the influx of ideas I have with the third one would better fit into a full-length novel, so expect that sometime later. Maybe. If my brain doesn't completely malfunction this month.

So far, this is a standalone novella, but I might tie it into Bite Me Tender's universe as I have with my other ONC book. If that does end up happening then, don't worry, you don't have to read any other work of mine to read this.

This is a twist on the old quiet girl x popular boy trope and is told in third person omniscient, focusing mainly on the popular boy's already-established girlfriend who usually gets the short end of the stick in those stories. I categorized this as humour and not romance, because... well... you'll see. The "prompts" section might give you a hint. If you like some really interesting takes on narration styles and genre-bending things, this one is for you. I plan to have a lot of fun writing this.
