"i just been thinking about aliyah a lot lately.. like she been through so much at a young age .. she was just graduating lord" ken said to her teammates..

the team decided to throw a little party for aliyah..

|little run down this happened in real life also if you wanna go read about it!| aliyah was shot 10x after an altercation at a party . she was a senior & about a month or 2 away from graduating highschool. she was offered a full ride scholarship to many colleges to play basketball .. she chose usc ! she did recover having to learn how to walk again ! so proud of her 🥺❤️.

(back to the story).

they noticed that aliyah was paranoid and traumatized & would only leave her dorm for basketball practices + games. the team supported her so much through her emotions letting her know they were there for her . they were understanding of her shutting down at times. but they wanted her to live her life..

she was young, beautiful, & talented in so many different ways.. she was such a sweet person with a good heart.

the team decided to throw her a party at their dorm.. with her favorite foods, gifts , and a cake written "survivor" on it .

my heart is so heavy for her.. she should not have gone through that .. she wouldn't hurt a fly but im glad God let us keep her .. one of the strongest out !

i love aliyah we all my heart, thats like my blood sister.. she was here from the beginning ! & i want her to know she got me forever .

"okay we got everything set up right ?" juju asked as she put the finishing touches around the food & stuff making it look as neat as possible.

"yeppie we're ready!" kayla said .

"okay juju, you go to liyah's door & get her to come & we will start hiding" kayla added.

"bet, but remember guys not to loud! loud noise might scare her" juju said putting on her slides.

juju walked down the hallway towards aliyah's dorm room.. she wasn't completely out of it & when teammates came to her dorm she was happy to let them in..

even tho she never went out she did get lonely & would hope her teammates would come and hang out with her..

juju made it to her dorm knocking on the door 3x before she came out .. she looked like she hadn't slept in days.. juju's smile instantly dropped.

she looked at aliyah & could tell she hadn't slept in a while.. she forced a smile on her face as she didn't want to make her even more depressed at the moment..

"JUJUU" aliyah smiled hugging her right.. again she did get lonely most of the time .

"hey lili" juju said smiling a real smile though.

"what's up ? wanna hang ?" she said.

"actually yes, but i want you to come to my dorm all the girls are there" juju said hoping she'd come.

"oh okay, just lemme get dressed" she said.

"li it's fine.. it's almost 8 p.m. wear what you got on" ju said.

"okay, let's go" aliyah said happily.

she was so happy they wanted to hang with her & not trying to hide because she is still healing.

aliyah held juju's hand as they walked.. juju didn't find it weird , but learned that she did this to feel safe & protected.. she also did it because she wanted the person she was with to be close by her side so nothing happened to either one of them. it was just a habit she endured after the incident .

"soo, tell me friend you gotta man?" aliyah asked as her and juju walked hand in hand.

"have mercy, not you to friend.. what has ken told you ?" juju said looking over at aliyah.

"nothing girl, i just see the way he looks at you & the way you look at him.." she said smirking.

"we are just talking right now, nothing to serious" juju said as her cheeks turned rosy red.

"aww you like him don't you ?"

"no.. maybe stop" juju said trying to hide her blush.

"you guys shh shh there coming ! everyone in your places , be quiet, & remember not to loud" ken whisper yelled.

everyone got into their places.. they heard to doorknob turn .

juju & liyah walked in and juju turned on the lights.

"surprise" they yelled but not to loudly..

Aaliyah looked around confused .. it wasn't her birthday so.

"what's this ?"

"well, we noticed you were scared to come out yk and traumatized so we wanted to throw you a little party to let you know that we are proud of you & that we love you no matter what" ken said.

they all looked at aliyah trying to read her facial expression.. they saw the tears coming from her eyes .

"aww she gone cry yall" juju said.

they all hugged her. juju wiped aliyahs tears .

"you guys, i love it.. life is hard i hate being scared & sad . i want to live life but i cant find myself.. i love you guys.. im so glad i have yall & basketball cus it keeps me going. i really be in my head thinking you guys be hiding from me & not wanting to invite to your hangouts bcus im just a paranoid person who won't come out but you guys really do care for me and love me for me.. you guys accept me even when im down.. you guys support me and is there for me i love you guys." aliyah said as her voice cracked..

"AWWWW WE LOVE YOUU" they all said in unison.

"girl we could never leave you out, no matter what you've been through. it's our job to be there for you as you heal mentally. we will always invite out with us , we be tryna get you out dawg.. we love you & we support you" juju said wiping her tears.

they did a group hug & the party started . aliyah ate 3 pieces of pizza which was not normal because she would always skip eating .. but she was hungry.

"from now on.. im gonna got out, eat, and have fun! no more moping around! God gave me another chance at life . so im gonna take it and live it to the fullest" aliyah said as she finished her third pizza.

9:20 p.m.

juju🩷.

some people decided to crash here for the night so some people were scattered on the floor watching tik tok.. Aaliyah just fell asleep so i put her in my bed. she needed it more than i did, i decided to sleep on the floor... the couch was made for a short person (no offense to the shorties lol). i was chilling when i heard the doorbell ring. i got up opening it & i saw bronny standing there.

"bron hey" i said hugging him.

"wassup shawty, i just came by to see you real quick" he said

"you ain't text me back" he said

"sorry, i was helping but this together for aliyah and got caught up" she said

"yall really some good teammates fr.. she's lucky.. ik you got a good heart but seeing it in person kinda makes wanna wife you up" he said making her giggle & blush.

"aww thank you bronny" she said as he put his arms around her waist.

juju & bronny talked for about 5 minutes and he decided to head to his dorm.

juju showered, brushed her teeth & headed of to sleep with a smile .

all she could think about was "her man" .

CHAPTER 5 !
