juju🩷.

i was at home in my room bored. ken had practice and so did bronny. my other friends are busy working .

i never realized how boring my life was when im not playing basketball. i done got so attached to bronny and now i can't go a day without him without getting bored.

i sat in my room and watched netflix. ginny & georgia to be exact that's my show. i continued watching it but heard a knock on the door.

"come in" and i saw my mother sari.

she's just so beautiful i love her. & her life lol.

"hi mommy wassup ?" i said smiling.

"hey baby umm you have a visitor" she said.

"who ?" i asked.

i was confused because bronny and ken were close with my family and didn't need my mom to walk them up here. it was unusual to say the least.

sari moved aside and she saw her ex boyfriend standing in the door way. her mood changed quickly because did he not know what "no" meant ??

"dj what are you doing here ?" i asked rolling my eyes.

"juju i just wanna talk okay" he said.

"yeah we cannot talk man, do you know how bad this looks ? you gotta go" juju said.

"please ? just 5 minutes ?" dj asked.

juju looked at her mother. sari had no idea juju and dj left off on a rough patch she thought they had broke up as friends.

"mommy ? he cannot be here bronny will freak why you let him up here make him leave" juju said.

"juju, don't hold a grudge.. he just wanna talk and settle things honey" sari said.

her mother was big on "forgiving" she didn't like holding grudges you never know when it's that persons last day & it's always better to make it right before it's to late & you end up regretting it.

"fine" juju said.

"i will be downstairs call if you need me" sari said.

juju nodded at her. she did not want to be alone with her ex boyfriend. her mind stuck on bronny the more she looked at him.

"so talk" juju said.

"look i just wanted to apologize for how we left things.. ik i was a bit hard and im sorry" dj said.

"dj not only did you breakup with me but you never said goodbye man. you know how low that is ? for you to do that to your girlfriend of 2 years ?" juju said.

"i know but i was to scared to face you. i didn't wanna break your heart and ik that's cowardly but i didn't wanna see you cry" he said.

"you right it was. you broke up with me over my decision to stay here in la dj, like that's crazy."

"man i didn't wanna do long distance judea. man i was attached to you. i was in love with you to the point where i wanted to be close to you. i couldn't go all the way to new york while you were here"

"and why not ? dj we were in love. and if we really loved each other we should have been able to work through long distance. you think i wanted to be away from you ? no it was hard for me to but you should've supported my decision and know i was doing what's best for me. i followed my heart" juju said.

"and if it was the other way around i would have supported you 100% no matter how far apart we had to be" she added.

"and i understand that now. i'm sorry for the pain i put you through. and not supporting you the right way. i should have done better" dj said.

"i forgive you. at least ik you had love for me. and coming here to apologize face to face takes a lot guts." juju said.

"but im proud of you and im happy for you.. you followed your heart & now your doing something so big" dj said.

"thank you dj.. i really appreciate it. I'm proud of you to, ik you being a nerd all the way in new york all a's and a honor student" juju said laughing.

"chill out man, basketball going good to"

dj and juju got and hugged. she did feel better put aside her problems with dj. her mind still wondering to bronny.

"all love nerd" juju said laughing.

dj and juju pulled away. he smiled at her because deep down he did love juju. and he knew he was wrong when ending their relationship.

he knew he was being selfish when juju didn't take the scholarship from new york and he got upset about it. but now he knew why. she made the right choice when she decided to stay in la.

i'm headed to juju's house. practice just ended and i gotta see my fine wife. i got her some wing stop cus ik she hungry.

i pulled up to her house before walking & i greeted her parents. i headed upstairs to her room opening the door. where i saw her ex boyfriend.

in her room. alone just them two. ik you lying.

juju looked at me her smile leaving. i looked at her and then dj and back at her. i just turned to leave cus i had no words.

"wait bronny don't go" juju yelled.

i turned back around walking back into her room because i did wanna hear why he was here.

"why is he here ?"

"baby relax it's nothing and nothing happened. look he came over here and my mom let him in. i tried to make him leave but my mom suggested we talk cus she don't like holding grudges"

"and we talked.. we're good. we left things good as friends and that's it. i hugged him because im a hugger baby not anything else" juju said.

"we got everything out in the open and now we're friends that's it right dj ?"

"right, bronny i respect you.. ik she's my ex girlfriend but i respect what y'all got going on and i wouldn't ruin that. i just had to come apologize because how i ended our relationship wasn't fair to her other than that we're friends ONLY." dj said.

"babe i promise you nothing happened" juju said.

she could see the look on his face.. like do i believe them or not. juju knew she would never hurt bronny and she hoped bronny knew that as well.

"i know i trust you babe" he said breaking the silence.

"and i appreciate you man" he said.

bronny and dj dapped each other up. making juju smile. she was happy they were good. and all she wanted was for bronny to trust her.

"imma catch y'all later ! have fun love birds" he said smirking before walking out the door.

"i'm glad you trust me baby yk i would never hurt you" juju said.

bronny sat the food down on her bed bringing her in for a hug. she instantly hugged back. he rocked them back and forth.

"imma always trust you ma, and ik you wouldn't and it's vice versa" bronny replied.

juju lifted her head off his chest looking up at him. they both leaned in and kissed.

"ik you would never let nb else put it in yo back ma" bronny whispered smirking.

juju laughed and pushed him.

"bronny bye you right tho" juju said laughing.
