it had been approximately a month since bronny's homebody sexually harassed juju. it took a toll on her. she stopped eating, sleeping, practices were off.

she started acting different towards bronny. she would constantly move away from him he wasn't allowed to touch her. she became distant .

even in the los angeles heat she was always covered. hoodies and sweats. her parents noticed and so did bronny's . they tried to get her to go to counseling but she wasn't going for it.

they thought that it was just her mental health building up because it's so common in teenagers. especially females. and the ones who's the spotlight for a long time.

after what happened that night i have changed.. im scared man. and im not proud of how im acting towards bronny but i cant tell him why. it'll ruin him and his friendship.

it's hard hiding it from the world.. my parents have definitely noticed but i don't want them to know. and no i can't tell ken she's got a big mouth.

i was in my room in my bed watching tik tok and sulking. and tbh it sucks. my door swung open reveling bronny.

i was somewhat happy to see him just because im scared of being alone. but also nervous ik he was gone come near me.

"hey mamas , how you feeling ?" he asked.

"im okay just chillin rn" i replied.

"that's good, here i got you food" he said handing her the bag making her jump.

"juju.. im tired of this man you been acting different lately what's up ?" bronny said.

"nothings up bronny i just don't wanna be bothered" juju said.

"your literally jumping juju, you want let me come near you, your always screaming at me, you won't eat or sleep let's be 100 we never lie to each other" bronny said.

"bronny not now okay just go away man" juju said rubbing her forehead.

"we don't always have to be up under each other bronny get back man" juju said pushing him.

"JUJU IM TRYING TO BE THERE FOR YOU AND YOU WONT LET ME HELP YOU" bronny yelled.

"bronny i dont need you or your help so just leave okay" juju said.

she watched the hurt form in bronny's eyes.. she did not mean what she said it just came out. all the frustration she couldn't help it. it was hard.

"fine judea, whatever you want bro i ain't did nothing to you fr and this how you gone act bro ? im trying to help you" bronny said.

juju just stared at him because he's right.. she was acting different towards him when he haven't done anything wrong and im taking this out on him.. it wasn't fair.

"aight bet.. if i walk out that door im not coming back it's over got it ?" bronny said.

jujus heart sank.. would he really break up with her over that. she had to choose between ruining a friendship or losing her boyfriend.

she knew she had to tell bronny the truth, it's been to long and she can't hide it anymore.

"bronny sit down there is something i need to tell you" juju said.

bronny slowly sat down as juju moved closer to her.

"look ma, im sorry for screaming i just been stressing tryna help you" he said grabbing her hands.

"i know bronny and i appreciate you" she said.

"but you remember a month ago when we stayed at my parents house and i went back to my dorm to grab my laptop ?" juju said.

bronny stared into juju's eyes.. his full attention on her listening to the words she was saying. he wanted to know what had happened to her in that time zone..

"yes why ?" bronny said.

"your homeboy kobe broke into my dorm while i was there.. and he -

"he what ?" bronny said holding her.

"he tried to rape me bronny" juju choked out.

"what ?" bronny stood up.

juju could see his vain pop from his forehead he tried to keep his composure.

"what happened ?" bronny said angrily.

"he said he needed to talk to me about you and said he had a crush on me for years but you took me from her and yk he had a crush on me.. he forced me onto the bed. and he pulled my clothes down .. he told me not to tell anyone or he was gonna do things to me bad things.. he only used his tongue because when he went to pull his pants down ken came" juju said.

bronny got up and grabbed his keys and juju followed him.

"bronny. BRONNY where are you going ?" juju said holding his chest .

"im gonna kill him" bronny said as he bit down on his teeth.

"bronny no.. don't, not now okay" she said.

he looked down at her and began to calm down. he was only doing for juju.

"look baby im sorry i didn't tell you i didn't wanna ruin your friendship that's your homeboy but then our relationship started going down hill and i couldn't lose you and" she was cut off.

"mamas, it's not your fault aight.. i understand but you should've told me from day 1 man.. you my girlfriend im supposed to protect you ion care about that nigga nomo"

"the minute he violated you was the minute our friendship ended wether you told me or not. man he violated you judea and you let him get away with that for to long but you better believe im stepping and hard" bronny said.

bronny walked back to juju's room and grabbed his stuff he didn't know where he was going but he needed to clear his head . juju followed him as tears ran down her face.

"bronny don't go please.. i took that out on you and im sorry but i do need you" juju said stepping in front of him.

"juju i told you im not mad at you okay it's not your fault its his" bronny said.

"okay but i need you.. please just hold me until we figure out what to tell my parents" juju said.

bronny led juju to her bed and she got into it beside him.. she wrapped her arms around his torso and laid her head on his chest. she could hear his heart beating and it really relaxed her.

"ma yk i love you right & i would do anything to protect you. im here forever" bronny said.

"i love you more baby.. yk its vice versa their was nothing you could do so don't blame yourself he's gonna get what's coming to him" juju said.

juju leaned up and they kissed passionately. a touch they both missed. it's been a month since they have last kissed and ofc bronny missed that and so did juju but she was glad she had finally told him.

bronny had went and confronted his so called homeboy & ofc he tried to flip it around on juju.

he was definitely a narcissist. bronny nem never went to the police but somehow it ended up all over the news .

THESHADEROOM: usc basketball player kobe johnson was arrested last night for sexually harassing usc women's basketball player juju watkins and he was let out on bail earlier this morning. watkins parents said that he admitted to doing it but never apologized or showed any remorse. juju's boyfriend bronny james also said he admitted after confronting him. the investigation is still ongoing.

juju's parents were livid to say the least. her parents thought that they should go the police but juju had to much going on and she wanted to wait..

somehow they still found out.. juju had a feeling ken went to the police after finding out. she didn't care that juju didn't wanna tell but she cared about her and it was the right thing to do.

"i still can't believe you didn't tell me" ken said.

"i was here, i walked in on it basically and had no idea" ken added.

"ken im sorry okay.. i hid it from everyone but it's not your fault as a matter of fact you saved me when you walked in & i appreciate you so much for that" juju said.

"look just promise me you won't hide anything from me ? and it's vice versa" ken said.

"i promise" juju said.

ken moved over and hugged her bestie.. she was happy juju was okay and hadn't gotten the actual thing.

who knows what would've happened if she hadn't come in.. juju could've been pregnant or worse. she was just glad her best friend was okay.

bronny🤌🏽.

it has been a long week. with everything going on and juju going through the healing process the only thing i can do is be there for her.

"here mamas, i gotchu food" i said handing it her.

"ouu thank you baby, my stomach keep growling" juju said laughing .

"hey im proud of you yk that ?" bronny said looking her in her eyes.

"thank you love.. for everything and being here. your really my heart and my rock & i appreciate you more than you'll ever know. i love you" juju said.

"i love you ma you got me 4life" he said.

juju and bronny decided to watch a movie until they fell asleep for the night. they were both so happy to be back in each others arms.

juju still had a long way to go with court hearings, interviews, and going back to practice but she was ready she was not gone let him take that from her.

she missed basketball and her teammates and she was ready to get back on the court. that's all she wanted was to play basketball.
