POV. Lucy

Today is my day to pick a job, so I am looking at the job board for a sutible job. I notice one that pays 40,000 joules. The job was to go to a small island and solve a problem. I grabbed the paper and ran over to Natsu and Happy. "Hey Natsu what about this one?" I asked, he took the paper from me and read it with Happy looking over his shoulder. "Sure." He said handing it back to me. I walked up to the front desk to take the job. "So Natsu, when do you want to head out?" I asked walking back over to him. "How about tomorrow." He said "That sounds good." I said. We sat around and talked with our friends and Natsu and Gray started a fight like always. "Ok I'm going home." Natsu said when it was starting to get dark. I nodded as he was walking out of the guild hall. "Ok see you here tomorrow!" I called after him. I finished my food and went home to get some sleep.

Time skip, Next morning (still Lucy's pov)

I wake up to sun in my eyes, I sit up and stretch. "Open the gate, Little dog, Plue!!" I yell holding the key in the air. The key glows and Plue is summoned into my room. After that I do my daily routine.

Another time skip at the guild

"Hey Lucy what took you so long?" Natsu asked walking up to me with Happy following close behind. "I just had to get ready." I said "Hey we heard that you were going on a job." Gray said walking up to Natsu and I with Ezra following close behind. "Yah, what about it?" Natsu said "We would like to join you." Ezra said "Ok you can join." I said smiling. "So let's get going!" Ezra said pushing us all about the door. "Wait Gray-sama!!

Another time skip 😜

"I will swim all the way there, but I will not get on that boat!" Natsu yelled "Well to bad Natsu you agreed to come." I said trying to pull him over closer to the boat but failing. "But I..." "Natsu get on this boat NOW!!" Erza yelled from on the boat. "Aye!!" Natsu yelled in fear speeding up onto the boat taking me with him. He took a couple of steps before his motion sickness kicked in. "Well that was fast." I thought standing up after her dropped me when he fell. The ship soon started moving slowly towards our destination. "Hey Natsu what were you going to say?" I asked when I remembered that he was saying something before was got on. "I don't know." He mumbled miserably. "Poor Natsu." I thought looking back at him, then I had an idea. "Hey Happy, couldn't you carry Natsu around the boat for a while?" I asked looking at him, "Aye, we never thought of that." He answered picking Natsu up. "I wonder why." I thought. It took a couple of minutes before Natsu recovered from his motion sickness. "Hey Lucy, thanks for the idea." Natsu said smiling. "No problem." I said smiling back.

It has been an hour since we have been out at sea and I think that I can see dark clouds off in the horizon. "I think it's going to rain." Natsu said flying up beside me. "What makes you say that?" I asked, "Well the dark clouds for one and I can smell the rain." Natsu said "Juvia agrees, she can feel the moisture in the air." Juvia said walking past us over to Gray. I looked at the clouds and they were getting closer, "Maybe we should head inside." I said looking back over at Natsu to see Happy struggling to hold Natsu. "I'm sorry Natsu I can't hold you anymore!" Happy said just as his wings disappeared dropping Natsu on the floor of the boat. A few seconds later Natsu was lying on the ground sick with Happy sleeping. I sighed, picked up Happy and helped Natsu down into the bottom of the boat to his room. Natsu plopped on the bed and I laid Happy down beside him. "Goodnight Natsu and Happy." I said yawning. I heard Natsu mumble something at I walked out of his room into my room.

"LUCY, LUCY, WAKE UP!!!!" I heard someone yelling while shaking me. "What?" I mumbled, "AHHHH!!!!" I screamed as I fell out of my bed. I looked up to see who had pulled me out of my bed. It was Erza with Gray, Juvia, and Happy holding Natsu behind her. I stood up "Well there was no nee..." My sentence was once again as I fell to the floor. "What's going on?!" I asked. "We are in a really bad storm." Gray said. Just as he finished his sentence the boat started to sink, fast. We all raced to the top of the boat to get in one of the life boats but they were all gone. Gray made and life boat out of ice, but it didn't work for long because it soon flipped over.
