Author's Notes

Hello and welcome to a new legend.

This is going to be the first part in a fantasy epic that I have been planning to write for years. There will be adventure, magic and excitement. I wanted to write an epic story that was like a love letter to the stories that transported me to new worlds such as Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. It is going to be a long journey, and I hope that all who travel with me will have fun along the way.

The story will be mostly PG for fantasy action, violence and threat, with sparse usage of mild language. There may be scenes that take this story closer to a 12A/PG-13, but nothing too extreme. I have a younger sister who is looking forward to reading this story, so I won't go too far.
