Chapter 5 - Outrage

---5---

---Told from the POV of Tsunade---

"What do you mean you lost her?!" I yelled, my eyes wide.

"M'Lady! She used her inherited abilities from her father to get away," an ANBU agent explained. "She is after all the daughter of the famous Konoha Yellow Flash..."

"I can't believe my top agents got outmanouvered by a Chuunin..." I sighed, frustrated, placing my hand on my forehead. I facepalmed hard.

"Kakashi, what happened?" I asked the silver haired Shinobi who was standing with his arms folded in the corner of the room.

"Lady Tsunade, this isn't right..." he said, standing up right. "Kasumi is being pushed to the limit with all of this, you've come down too hard,"

"It's what's best for her," I answered.

"No. M'Lady, I acted as her guardian for those three years and I know her well enough to say that what you're doing to her is not for her own good. You're driving the girl insane. She's going to snap one day, rebel against the village, exactly what you're trying to prevent. Lady Tsunade, you're pushing Kasumi out of Konoha!" he said, his voice angry and his eye narrowed. I sat back in my chair and thought hard.

"Kakashi, what do you suggest we do?"

"Give this up! Reduce the ANBU and the security, let her live a normal life! Let Kasumi rejoin Squad 7 on their missions," he said, his voice raised and his tone harsh. I shook my head.

"You know I can't do that!" I argued.

"Then what do you think is going to happen?!" Kakashi demanded.

"We carry on with the security. It's the only way," I said.

Suddenly the large, heavy doors of my office flew open with little effort. They even sustained some damage, sending splinters of wood in all directions. In the doorway stood a young Shinobi, with hair as red as her face.

"Tsunade!" She yelled, her fists clenched.

"Is that any way to address the Hokage?! Show your respect, brat!" An ANBU nin yelled, moving towards Kasumi.

"No let her speak. Kasumi," I said, nodding towards her. The ANBU narrowed his eyes at her as she stormed in.

"What is going on?! What's happening to me?!" She demanded. "What are you doing to me?!"

The ANBU stepped forward, angered by Kasumi's lack of respect. I wasn't angered. I remained calm and tried to understand her point of view.

"Kasumi, what's wrong, tell us," I said softly.

"You know damn well what's wrong! Are you crazy?! I can't leave my damn house anymore without being stalked! What kind of psycho operation is running here?!" She yelled, clenching her fists out in front of her.

"Kasumi, please explain what you mean," I asked calmly. Her eyes widened.

"You know damn well what I mean! Why are ANBU on my case!? What do you want from me?" She shouted.

"Kasumi, I'm afraid we can't tell you. Just know that it's for your own good," I answered, looking her in the eye.

Something must have snapped in her. I watched horrified as she lunged forward, slamming her palms down on the table.

"WHAT DID I EVER DO WRONG?! Why are you doing this!! I never asked for any of this!? What is the point in living when you can't do anything without being followed or watched?!" She screamed, lunging at me. Kakashi was at her side, holding her back, before any of my ANBU agents. Kasumi struggled against him, her teeth gritted together and tears trickling down her cheeks.

"Kasumi, calm down," Kakashi tried to soothe her. "Come on now, let's go outside. Lady Tsunade, I apologise but if you'll please excuse us," he said, leading her out, still struggling.

I placed my hands over my mouth and looked into space, my brow hard. An ANBU agent stepped forward.

"Lady Tsunade, what now?"

--- Kasumi's POV ---

I wanted to hit her so hard, not even her huge ass boobs could soften the blow. The Hokage didn't get it. Or rather, she didn't care.

I'd had it.

"WHAT DID I EVER DO WRONG?! Why are you doing this!! I never asked for any of this!? What is the point in living when you can't do anything without being followed or watched?!" I screamed lunging at her. Her eyes widened with shock and adrenalin pumped through my body as my fist came inches away from actual physical contact with the Hokage's face. Half of me wanted to stop but the other half was determined to carry on.

I felt a strong pair of arms around my waist, pulling me back with such force that I missed the Hokage's face but a few centimetres. Kakashi Sensei. I struggled against him, still wanting to rip off the Hokage's head.

"Kasumi, calm down. Come on now, let's go outside. Lady Tsunade, I apologise but if you'll please excuse us," he said, pulling me out. I struggled against him, breathing shallow, hot tears prickling their way down my red face.

"Kasumi, listen to me!" Kakashi yelled. I shook my head, struggling still. "Listen to me! Look I know you're upset. What the Hokage is doing is wrong on so many levels, and I'd love to stop it, but you have to listen to me." he said after managing to restrain me, then holding my wrists and looking me in the eye.

"I can't do this Sensei," I whispered, shaking my head.

"Kasumi, you have to trust me, I will sort this out," Kakashi said. I stared at him for a long time before I finally nodded slowly.

"Okay. I'll trust you Sensei, but only you. I know that you were close to my Dad, and he's agree that you can help me, so I will trust you completely." I said, quietly looking down.

Kakashi smiled from under his mask.

"Kasumi I promise that I won't let you down," he smiled, his closed eyed smile...
