Naruto showed up, a little while after us, all that was left was for Kakashi Sensei to show up. I sat on a rock, rubbing my ankle gently. Sakura watched me suspiciously.

‘Oh, hey Kasumi-chan!’ Naruto grinned, I waved at him.

‘Are you sure you should be here in that condition?’ she asked. I narrowed my eyes at her.

‘I’m fine, I’m going to get it looked at later,’ I huffed. Sakura nodded.

We waited for hours, it had been dark but now the birds were awake and the sun was rising higher up into the sky.

Naruto was still half asleep on the floor. I was sitting next to him and Sasuke and Sakura were standing.

‘Aww come on, is this guy for real?!’ I growled. Sakura sighed and sat down next to me. It was now two hours from lunch time and there was still no sign of Kakashi Sensei, when...

‘Morning everyone, ready for your first day?’ We all jumped up and glared at him, even Naruto woke up.

‘HEY, YOU’RE LATE!’ Sakura, Naruto and I yelled.

‘...Well a black cat crossed my path, so I had to take the long way,’ Kakashi lied. I gave him a death glare. Man, that was a really pathetic excuse.

‘Yeah, sure Sensei,’ I muttered under my breath.

‘Hmm? Well’ Kakashi cleared his throat.

‘Let’s get started,’ he said walking to the left. We followed him and watched as he placed a timer set for noon.

‘Here we go, it’s set for noon, your assignment is very simple. You just have to take these bells from me. That’s all there is to it,’ Kakashi said pulling out some bells. He jingled them around a bit.

‘If you can’t get them by noon, you go without lunch,’ Kakashi continued.

‘Whaaa-,’ Naruto and I yelled.

‘You’ll be tied to those posts, and you’ll watch while I eat my lunch in front of you,’

We all sweat dropped and anime cried.

‘So that’s why you made us to skip breakfast,’ I groaned. Kakashi nodded.

‘Hai,’

‘Wait a minute! There’s four of us, how come there’s only two bells?’ Sakura asked.

‘Well that way, at least one of you will end up tied to a post and ultimately disqualified for failing to complete the mission!’ Kakashi gave us a closed eye smile. Sakura glanced at me.

‘He’s evil,’ she whispered to me. I nodded.

‘I know,’ I whispered back.

‘That one goes back to the Academy; then again, all four of you can flunk out too. You can use any weapons including shiruken. If you’re not prepared to kill me, you won’t be able to take the bells,’ Kakashi said flicking the bells up and grabbing them.

‘No way! Those weapons are too dangerous Sensei!’ Sakura cried worriedly. Naruto started laughing again.

‘Especially since you couldn’t even dodge that booby trap I set,’ he laughed.

‘Class Clowns are usually the weakest links, you can safely ignore them. Lowest scores, losers,’ Kakashi sighed. I clenched my fists, that was a bit unfair, he was our Sensei, that meant he should be encouraging us and not putting us down!

‘Don’t call him that,’ I spoke up. Kakashi Sensei raised his eyebrow at me.

‘Hmmmnn. When I say start, you can begin,’ Kakashi said. Naruto was fuming and had steam coming out of his ears. He drew his kunai and charged Kakashi Sensei.

‘GRRRRRRR! ARGH!’ Naruto yelled but suddenly, Kakashi had grabbed Naruto’s hand weapon hand and had Naruto’s free arm behind his back. Kakashi’s own kunai was inches away from the back of Naruto’s head. Everyone stopped and stared.

‘Don’t be in such a hurry. I didn’t say start yet,’ Kakashi said as the dust cleared. Naruto growled and struggled. We all stepped back as Kakashi let go of Naruto.

‘But...you came at me with the full intention to kill me, so...how can I say this? I’m actually starting to like you guys...’

I grinned to myself.

‘Get ready,’ we all got ready to dart off at the word.

‘And...start!’ Kakashi yelled. We all flew off in different directions. My head was spinning and my mind was clouded with thoughts rushing through my head. I remembered Sakura’s bitchiness. Unfortunately, this was a team work exercise and I think I might be kicked out if I injured my team mate. I sighed and drew my mind away from torturing Sakura.

I hid in the bark of an old hollow tree.

‘Ninja must know how to conceal their movements and hide effectively,’ Kakashi said to himself. I glanced around to see where the others had hidden. My eye twitched when I saw Naruto standing right in front of Kakashi Sensei.

‘Naruto! You baka!’ I whispered, face palming.

‘YOU AND ME RIGHT NOW! FAIR AND SQUARE! LET’S GO!’ Naruto yelled at the top of his voice. Kakashi tilted his head to the side.

‘Hmm?’

‘You know, compared to the others, you’re a little bit weird...’ Kakashi said. Naruto closed one eye and glared at Kakashi Sensei.

‘OH YEAH!? WELL THE ONLY THING THAT’S WIERD AROUND HERE IS YOUR HAIRCUT!’ I chuckled to myself; that was a pretty good come back. Naruto ran at Kakashi yelling. The Jounin sighed and reached into his pouch. My eyes widened. No Naruto! Be careful!

 ‘Shinobi battle techniques, part 1, Taijutsu. The physical part,’ Kakashi said. Well if he’s gonna use Taijutsu then why’s he reaching for a weapon?

I sweat dropped when he pulled out a...book. A pervy book. Great, not only is our sensei always late but he’s also a pervert. *Face-palm*

‘WHAT THE?’ Naruto exclaimed.

‘What are you waiting for? Make your move,’ Kakashi Sensei began reading.

‘But...I mean, why are you reading that book?’ Naruto demanded.

‘Why? To find out what happens in the story, of course!’ Kakashi said in that ‘duhh’ way.

‘Don’t let it bother you, with your weak attacks, it won’t make any difference,’ he finished. That was harsh, I had to admit that I thought Naruto was quite strong...

Naruto clenched his fists and lunged at our Sensei.

‘I’m gonna crush you!’ he yelled.

Naruto leapt up into the air and swung his fist at Kakashi-Sensei’s face. Using his free hand, Kakashi easily blocked Naruto’s punch, without even looking up. Naruto growled again and swung his left leg around to kick Kakashi. The Pervy Jounin ducked, again easily dodging the attacks and not giving a second glance. My mouth dropped open.

Naruto landed on his feet and charged at Kakashi who was still squatting. Naruto pulled his fist back and punched the thin air as the Perv disappeared. Naruto looked around confused, when suddenly, Kakashi Sensei appeared behind him, with the seal of the tiger. I heard Sakura gasp loudly and cry out.

‘Never let your enemy get behind you, it’s never good to show them your back...’ Kakashi said.

‘Naruto! Get out of there! You’ll be killed!’ she yelled. Naruto turned his head.

‘Whaa-?’

‘Too late...’ Kakashi chuckled. His whole face turned into a creepy perverted look and his eye began to glow as he shoved the tiger seal...up Naruto’s butt...

‘Konoha’s most secret and sacred technique! A THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH!’ Kakashi yelled as Naruto was sent flying into the air, clutching his steaming butt. I sat up straighter and gasped as I watched Naruto land in the lake beside the training grounds.

‘Naruto!’ I whispered. I watched Kakashi Sensei. He’s mad, completely mad...and perverted, what guy sticks his fingers up a 12 year old boy’s ass? Brrrrrrr! *shivers*

It was silent and still for a moment, then two blurred objects flew out of the water with perfect accuracy, right towards Kakashi Sensei, who was now standing up and still reading. He held two fingers out and the blurred objects landed smoothly over his fingers. The objects stopped spinning and two shirukens remained on each of Kakashi’s two extended fingers. I flinched. This guy...no wonder my father had spoken so highly of him...

An exhausted and wet Naruto hauled himself out of the lake, gasping for breath. I sighed sadly. Well, you gave it your best Naruto-kun.

‘What are you waiting for? What’s the hold up? I told you, if you don’t get one of these bells you g without lunch!’ Kakashi teased. He was messing with Naruto. I listened to the sound of my stomach rumbling; I quickly clutched it. Go away hunger, go away!

‘I know that!’ Naruto yelled standing up slowly.

‘Argh! I’m so hungry!’ he clutched his rumbling stomach too.

‘But I won’t give up!’ he whispered. My eyes widened. Mom...Dad? For a split second, I saw my Dad standing where Naruto was, my Mom behind him, backing him up. They slowly faded. I realised that there were now tons of Naruto’s, flying out of the water. All of them headed for Kakashi Sensei. A smirk crossed Naruto’s face.

‘Now you’re gonna have to put up with more than just one of me! My speciality, Shadow Clone Jutsu!’ Naruto grinned. He was good; each one was solid, pure flesh and blood, not just another illusion.

‘You’re weak, you won’t be able to keep this up for longer than a minute! You don’t have what it takes to win,’ Kakashi sighed. I smirked when that sly look on his face was wiped off.

The real Naruto appeared behind Kakashi Sensei and grabbed onto him, clinging to his back.

‘What happened Sensei? What about never letting the enemy see your back!’ Naruto grinned. Kakashi gasped.

‘B-But how?’ he stammered. I smirked. He isolated one of his shadow clones and sent it out of the water, pretending to be the real Naruto while the real one snuck behind Kakashi Sensei. Smart.

‘Now here’s my pay back! I’ll make it quick and simple! Just ONE HIT!’ Naruto yelled drawing his fist back.

BAAAAAM!

Naruto knocked out...one of his shadow clones?! WHAT? Where’d the Copy Ninja go? Kakashi was gone.

Well, I’d say that this guy’s picked up a few of my Father’s tricks, interesting...

Sorry guys! I'll try updating as soon as I can! I've just done one of my gcse's this week so it's been really difficult to update. Unfortunately, it might be like this every week for untill half term but after wards I'll bet it'll be better and updates will be more regular.
