I sighed, as we waited on the bridge for Kakashi Sensei to arrive. Man, what was taking him so long? I rested my chin on my hands and looked up at a crow that was flying above me. Naruto and Sakura were yelling their feelings about Sensei always being late, while Sasuke and I stood silently, lost in a daze. I nudged Sasuke's arm and he smiled at me, nudging back.

'Morning guys! Sorry I'm late, I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life...' Kakashi Sensei said, appearing out of no where.

'LIAR!' Naurto and Sakura accused. Kakashi chuckled and rubbed the back of his head nervously.

'Well, any-who, I have a surprise for you four,' he said handing us a white envelope each.

'What's this?' I asked puzzled, as we all took one each.

'I've decided to put you guys forward for the Chuunin exams,' he said, giving us a closed-eyed smile.

We all blinked at him.

'Haha! Good one Sensei!' Naurto laughed. Kakashi shook his head.

'I'm not joking, I'm serious, I think that you guys are ready,'

Naruto lunged at Sensei and tackled him in a death glomp, while we stood, sweat-dropping.

'Naruto! Get off!' Kakashi struggled, trying to pull my brother off.

'You know Kasumi, sometimes I think that you're the older one,' Sakura said, turning to me.

'Hey!' I said.

'Let it go, Kasumi,' Sasuke said. I sighed and stood back watching the scene before me. I slowly reached up my left hand behind Sakura and tapped her left shoulder. I quickly put my hand down and sniggered when she truned around, looking confused. Sasuke looked at me.

'I told you to let it go. Jeez, Kasumi, you're so immature at times,' he said, rolling his eyes.

'I know!' I said giving him a funny face.

'Well, now, it's your choice if you want to go through with the exams, you can always wait till next year,' Kakashi said, dusting himself off.

'But if you do, be sure to report the the Academy at 4 tomorrow, room 301, got it?'

'Oh, we'll be there alright!' Naruto smirked.

'Yeah, you bet Sensei,' I grinned.

'Hmmm,' Sasuke huffed. I waited for Sakura's reply. I turned to see her looking pretty down.

'Yeah,' she said half-heartedly. Sensei dismmissed us and we all went our separate ways. Sasuke treated me to some dinner and Naruto headed off to train. Sakura, I assumed, went home. But there was definately something up with that Pink-haired Shinobi, and I was gonna find out what...
