Sasuke's POV

'GIVE MEBACK MY SIGHT!!!!!!!' Kasumi screamed. My eyes widened and my heart stopped. K-Kasumi?

'KASUMI!' Naruto, Kakashi and I all yelled. I tried to push past Naruto and Sakura to try and get to her but I was stopped when Zabuza sliced Kakashi Sensei in half. Sakura screamed which made Kasumi jump.

'What's going on!?' Kasumi yelled worriedly. She was on her knees, covering her face, I noticed the blood trickling through her fingers and onto the ground. I saw a smirking Zabuza try to get to her but he was stopped by Kakashi who hadn't been sliced to pieces but had survived and appeared behind Zabuza, holding a kunai to his neck.

'You're not going anywhere,' Kakashi warned. He nodded at me.

'Get Kasumi out of here, now,' Kakashi said. I nodded and darted over to Kasumi's side. She must've heard me coming because she jumped up, still covering her eyes, but wary of who I was.

'Stay away from me, you crazy butcher!' She growled. Butcher?

'Kasumi, calm down, it's me,' I told her. She relaxed and sighed.

'Sasuke,' she whispered, smiling. My heart melted.

'Kasumi, we have to get you out of here,' I told her, reaching for her hand, that still hid her eyes. She stepped back.

'No! Please don't, I don't want to freak you out or anything,' she bowed her head sadly, more blood dripping off and onto the ground.

'Kasumi, I need to see how bad your wound is,' I said stepping towards her.

'SASUKE GO!' Naruto yelled. I glanced to see Kakashi Sensei getting trapped in a ball of water, no thanks to Zabuza.

I picked Kasumi up and threw her over my shoulder and carried her into the words.

'Kasumi, what did you mean by 'Crazy Butcher' back then?' I asked as we ran. She laughed nervously to herself.

'Well that Zabuza guy has like the biggest meat knife in the world and since he took my sight away, I just figured that he was coming to get me,' she said. 'Sorry Sasuke,'

I stopped and set her down.

'Don't be, now let me have a look,'

She pouted but reluctantly removed her hands away from her eyes. I gasped, shocked at what was on her face. A deep gash ran straight across her eyes, her once deep blue eye were now pale blueish green and faded. The blood trickled down her face, like tears. My eyes began to water at the sight. The only person that I loved, who was still alive, was laying here in front of me, blinded possibly for life. It broke my heart. Well actually, it felt like someone had come along and not only broke my heart, but threw it on the floor and set it on fire and made me watch it burn. I clenched my fists so hard that my knuckles cracked.

Kasumi's lifeless eyes looked up at me, her face showed the concern but her eyes didn't. I reached out and touched her face. She flinched so I quickly pulled away, not wanting to cause her anymore pain than what she was already in. I ripped off some cloth from my t-shirt and gently dapped at the cut, wiping away all the blood, trying to clean her up. She stayed calm and relaxed while I worked.

'The ankle?' I asked her. She smiled weakly.

'It's fine, I'll be okay,'

I placed both hands on her shoulders and looked deep into her pale eyes.

'You're not okay, stop kidding yourself Kasumi! Wait here until I come back, I'll kill him for what he did to you,' I whispered. I prayed that she could see me through those eyes, highly unlikely, but I still prayed. She nodded.

'Okay, you go kill the Crazy Butcher, I'll wait here 'till you get back. Go kick some ass for me, Sasuke!' She gave me a closed eyed smile and a thumbs up. I leant forward and kissed her forehead, leaning back and leaving her stunned. I smirked.

'You're smirking aren't you?' She said. I chuckled.

'Well, I have to say Namikaze, you know me pretty well,' I smirked again. She poked out her tongue.

'Yes, yes I do,'

I stood up and turned to leave. I started walking when she stopped me.

'Oi, Uchiha!' She called. I turned.

'Yeah?'

'I love you,' she answered.

'I love you too, Kasumi,' I whispered, before breaking into a run.

'DEMON WIND SHIRUKEN!!' I yelled as I flung the giant shiruken at Zabuza. This one's for hurting my girlfriend! Zabuza laughed and made some cocky comment but to his surprise, the shiruken flew straight past him. It circled behind him but he caught it before it could cause him any harm. That's when our plan really started to kick in. The second shiruken flew in his path, taking him by surprise. Zabuza jumped up, dodging the weapon. I smirked as Naruto appeared in the shiruken's place.

Naruto flew backwards but drew a kunai and threw it at Zabuza's arm. Zabuza's reflexes took over and he immediately jerked his arm away, accidentally freeing Kakashi Sensei. Zabuza turned to Naruto.

'Why you little!'

But before he knew it, Kakashi was up and ready for action.

'Your fight is with me, remember?' Kakashi mocked.

Zabuza growled and tried a blow at Kakashi but Kakashi had already drawn his kunai and was fighting against him. The both leapt back at identical paces and performed a series of hand signs.

The others were about to witness the Sharrigan in action.

Zabuza lay pinned up against a tree. The whole area looked pretty rough from that monster water jutsu. Kakashi appeared on the tree branch above Zabuza.

'I foresee your death...' He whispered. Dark AND pervy. Kakashi is a man of many traits...

SWOOSH!

Three long, silver needles lodged themselves in Zabuza's neck as he dropped lifelessly to the floor. We all looked up. What the...?

A boy no older or taller than me, stood on another tree branch. His whole face was covered by a mask. Naruto looked at him suspiciously. Oh dear, what fantasies was he coming up with now?

'Thank you for all of your help, but I must take the body and go, it is my duty. May I?' The boy said retrieving Zabuza's body before disappearing. Weird. I turned to Sensei.

'I'll go and find Kasumi,'

'No, I'll go fetch her,' Naruto said, I shook my head.

'You don't even know where she is!' I rolled my eyes at him.

'Hmph. Fine,' Naruto agreed.

I darted off to go and find her. My heart leapt when I saw her. She was still resting up against the tree I'd left her at, but she had fallen asleep. I smiled to myself and bent down by her side. I wanted to pull her into my arms and hug her tight but she groaned.

'Stop staring at me while I sleep Sas-kun,' she mumbled sleepily. I blinked.

'I-I wasn't!' I argued standing up. 'Honest!'

'Sure you weren't. So why are you blushing?' She replied sleepily. I sweat dropped. I WAS blushing. Almost the same colour as her hair...

'H-How do you know?!' I demanded. She smirked in her sleep.

'I can see EVERYTHING! Mwahahaha!'

She was blind she couldn't see.

'...And...you're s-s-stuttering like Hinata,' she yawned. 'Ahh I miss her, she's a nice friend,'

I smiled and sat back down.

'So did you kick some ass for me?' She asked turning in her sleep.

'He's dead,' I answered. Kasumi chuckled.

'Good, he was one CREEEEEEPY butcher,'

I laughed. She opened one eye and looked at me, not that she could see me but still, it was nice to think that she could see...

'Can we go now? I miss Naruto,' she pouted.

'You sure do miss a lot of people don't you, Kasumi?' I smirked, throwing her onto my back.

'I missed you too, Sas-kun,' she whispered, stopping me in my tracks.

'You did?' I asked, surprised. She nodded.

'I was scared you were going to get hurt, I didn't want to loose my boyfriend,'

'I missed you too. But I'm glad that my girlfriend is safe, though,'

She pulled herself closer to my face and gave me a quick peck on my cheek. I smiled and we walked back, taking our time. Only then did I really know how much I loved this girl, blind or not...
