Minato's POV

I stopped dead in my tracks, face to face with the bastard that had taken my precious daughter from me. Tobi. I held my breath as I noticed the blonde man that the wounded Shinobi had spoken of. Deidara.

I clenched my fists in anger.

'Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, how nice to see you again,' the masked man sneered. I glared at him.

'What have you done with her?' I growled. Tobi shook his head. Deidara sighed beside him.

'Here we go, un...' he muttered.

'Good boys don't tell tales!' Tobi cooed. 'Right Senpai?!'

Deidara rolled his eyes.

'Look un, if you want your daughter back, you're gonna have to get him to tell you, cos I don't know,'

'TOBI! What have you done to My daughter?' I yelled. Tobi chuckled, his normal voice had gone all high pitched and girly.

'Ohh! Hehe, in a special place!!' he chuckled to himself, placing his hand over his mask as if to cover his mouth. I drew my kunai and flung it toward him. It landed at his feet and soon I was inches from his face, my kunai just millimeters from his throat.

'I'm warning you, where is Kasumi?' I whispered angrily.

'Look out, un!'

I turned to see an explosive at my feet, about to go off. Deidara had retreated back and since I was distracted, Tobi made his escape. My eyes widened as a flame flickered and there was a huge explosion.

I landed on a far away tree branch, and pulled out my kunai. That was a close one. I turned my head to see Tobi and Deidara escaping on a giant bird. I clenched my fists and darted after them, I wasn't going to let them go that easily.

I flew through the woods at lighting speed, glancing up and seeing the damn bird flying up higher and higher, until it was jut a mere spec.

'Minato!' a familiar voice cried. I stopped and turned to see my wife running towards me. I smiled weakly and met her halfway. She looked exhausted.

'Minato...w-what happened?' she asked looking around. I clenched my fist again.

'That bastard, he got away, and Deidara!' I cursed. Kushina's face looked worried.

'I heard an explosion. Honey, are you alright?' she asked, looking me up an down checking for any wounds. I took her hands in mine and she stopped.

'I'm fine, honey, I promise,' I said giving her a smile. She smiled weakly then flung her arms around me. I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her tight.

'First they took our son, and now they take our daughter? Minato, what have we done to deserve this?' she sobbed. I closed my eyes and hugged her close.

'Kushina...I...w-we'll find Kasumi, even if there is only one way...' I whispered. I felt Kushina tense and she pulled away from me, tears streaming down her cheeks.

'No, Minato! You don't mean...?' she stammered. I nodded sadly at her.

'It may be the only way, Kushina,' I said sadly. Kushina buried her face in my chest and sobbed again.

'She'd never forgive us if we did! If we allowed that to happen to her! Oh Minato! Please, there must be another way, there has to be!' She whispered.

I shook my head. No there wasn't, if Tobi kept escaping, then that would be our only option to get Kasumi back, or else we'd never see her again. Never...

Sorry for the long update and sorry for the shortness of the chapter but that's because I was really busy. Anyway I hope you enjoyed it! And I wonder what minato and kushina are thinking about this only way to get Kasumi back, it's a very hard decision and it'll be revealed later on in the book, or maybe you guys will work it out for yourselves.

Anyway, arigato!!!

No pic with this chapter but I'm currently working on a family photo of the uzumaki family!! Yay ^^ it's looking very good too so that'll be with the next chapter or few so that's cool ^^
