Nearly ten years had passed since the Dursleys had woken up to find their nephew on the front step, but Privet Drive had hardly changed at all. The sun was up on the Dursleys' neat front gardens, shining on the front door. It was shining into the living room which hadn't changed much since Mr. Dursley had seen the owls. The photos on the mantelpiece showed how time had passed. Ten years ago they had shown a baby Dudley, but now they showed a big blond boy on his bike, at the fair, playing games and with his parents. There was no sign of another boy in the house but Harry Potter was still in the house, asleep."
"I hope they are treating him well", Lily silently prayed.
Harry was woken from his sleep by Aunt Petunia's screeching voice.
"Up! Get up! Now!" She was hammering on the door. The sounds from the kitchen below indicated that breakfast preparations were in full swing.
"I'm having Walburga vibes," said Sirius before sharing an uneasy look with Regulus.
He rolled onto his back and tried to remember the dream he had been having. It had been a good one. There had been a flying motorcycle in it. He had a funny feeling he'd had the same dream before.
"Oh, could it be..." Alice trailed off, uncomfortable to recall the past incidents. Everyone seemed to be thinking the same thing, based on their expressions.
He rolled out of bed and looked around his room, checking for someone or something. He checked under his bed, in the shelf, and even peered out the door.
Nothing.
Phillipe leaned forward and asked, "What is he looking for?"
"Seriously, Phil?" Natasha teased, "Like any of us know what's going!"
"Yeah, it's not like we has any inside scoop," Rabastan chimed in.
"Guys! Can we continue," Dorcas asked a little bit impatiently.
With a sigh, Harry rubbed his eyes and sat back down on his bed. This wasn't the first time he had gone so long without seeing his friend. Ever since he could remember, there had been fleeting moments when he felt a presence nearby, especially when he was in trouble. It was as if he had a mysterious friend, a guardian of sorts, who appeared only when he was in dire need of help. He couldn't explain it, but it brought him comfort knowing someone was looking out for him, even if he never saw them.
"Must be nice to have a mysterious guardian watching over you," Peter said, a hint of envy in his voice. "I wouldn't mind someone like that looking out for me."
James nodded. "Yeah, it's kind of amazing, isn't it? Knowing someone's got your back."
"Think of all the pranks we could pull off without getting caught," Sirius added.
Regulus raised an eyebrow at his brother's and his friends reckless views. "Or it could be dangerous," he interjected. "We can't forget he's Harry Potter. Someone watching him might not have good intentions."
Lily looked torn. "I want to believe it's a good thing. Harry deserves someone looking out for him."
Andromeda sighed, glancing at Lily. "True, but we should be cautious. Just because it feels like help doesn't mean it is."
His aunt was back outside the door.
"Are you up yet?" she demanded.
"Nearly," said Harry.
"Well, get a move on, I want you to look after the bacon. And don't you dare let it burn, I want everything perfect on Duddy's birthday." Harry groaned.
"What did you say?" his aunt snapped through the door.
"Nothing, nothing..."
"Excuse me, why should my grandson be doing such a thing?" Dorea's eyes flashed with anger.
"She's letting him cook?" Molly asked in disapproval. "He is only ten."
Dudley's birthday -- how could he have forgotten? Harry got slowly out of bed and started looking for socks. He found a pair under his bed and, after pulling a spider off one of them, put them on. Harry was used to spiders, because the cupboard under the stairs was full of them, and that was where he slept.
"WHAT?" nearly everyone was outraged by Harry's living condition.
"How dare she, how dare she treat my son like that. I will kill her when I see her for the next time." Lily looked like a demon possessed at the mention of Harry, treated like a house elf.
James looked like he was about to explode. "My son, they make him sleep in a cupboard with spiders?"
Sirius stood up, shaking with fury. "Those vile Muggles! I swear, I'll make them pay for this!"
Marlene's face was pale with anger. "How could anyone be so cruel? This is inhumane!"
Molly's eyes filled with tears of rage. "How could they treat him like this? It's disgusting!"
Christian looked at Albus. "Headmaster, your choice of accommodation is simply poor and questionable."
"And you think these people are the best option to look after Harry?" Minerva shot at Albus.
Hearing this, Charlus turned to Albus. "Albus, I don't care whatever your reasons might be, but my grandson cannot be sent there in the future if something happens to us."
"Yes, even a wizarding orphanage is way better than this," agreed Narcissa, who was quite until now.
He got dressed and went to the kitchen. The table was almost hidden beneath all Dudley's birthday presents. There were many things that Dudley didn't actually need, and Harry wondered why he needed a bike, as Dudley was fat and hardly exercised unless it was to punch someone. Dudley's favorite punching bag was Harry, but he couldn't often catch him. Harry was very fast, and sometimes his mysterious friend, Pix, would help him.
Ella put a hand over her mouth, tears welling up in her eyes. "This is abuse. No child should live like this."
Meanwhile, Chris, Ana, and Phil fixated on the name Pix. That can't be what they're thinking, right? They made silent eye contact to ensure they were thinking the same thing.
Pix is Harry's first and only friend, someone who seemed to appear only when Harry was in dire need of help. It was Pix who had patched up Harry's glasses numerous times after Dudley had broken them. He wondered if Pix was real or just another figment of his imagination, a friend created by a lonely boy craving companionship.
Barty frowned. "So, this Pix character only shows up when Harry's in trouble? That sounds a bit too much like a house elf."
"Yeah, even I was thinking the same thing," agreed Laurel. "Maybe a family elf?" she looked at James with a questionable look as if asking if they had any elf named Pix.
James shook his head. "No, we don't have any elf named Pix. It's not one of ours."
Harry had always been small and skinny for his age, with bright green eyes, a thin face, knobbly knees, and black hair that never stayed flat, no matter how much it was cut. He wore round glasses held together with Scotch tape and the only clothes he had were hand-me-downs from Dudley. The only thing Harry liked about his appearance was a very thin scar on his forehead shaped like a lightning bolt. He had had it for as long as he could remember, and the first question he ever asked his Aunt Petunia was how he got it.
"In the car crash when your parents died," she had said. "And don't ask questions."
'Don't ask questions' was the first rule for a quiet life with the Dursleys.
Lily shook her head in disbelief. "I'm definitely going to kill Petunia and that hippo of her husband when I go home."
James clenched his fists. "They've been lying to him this whole time. He deserves to know the truth."
"He looks exactly like James," said Mary. "With Lily's eyes of course."
"Yeah, to the point he inherited Jamsie's terrible hair and horrendous eye sight," quipped Royce making everyone laugh.
Uncle Vernon entered the kitchen as Harry was turning over the bacon. He was in a good mood because it was Dudley's birthday.
"Comb your hair!" he barked at Harry by way of greeting.
"That's the potter genes!" exclaimed a very amused Sirius
"Get used to it, my dear; the Potter hair is untamable." Charlus and James shot a betrayed look at Dorea.
About half an hour later, Dudley arrived in the kitchen with his mother. Dudley looked a lot like Uncle Vernon. He had a large pink face, not much neck, small, watery blue eyes, and thick blond hair that lay smoothly on his thick, fat head. Aunt Petunia often said that Dudley looked like a baby angel. Harry often said that Dudley looked like a pig in a wig.
Everyone laugh at how Harry described Dudley.
"Well, he is right in there", Remus silently agreed.
"Look at that prongsie, out future baby marauder," cried Sirius.
"That's my boy!" James smirked. "Thank Godric my son got the humor from me."
Dudley, meanwhile, was counting his presents. His face fell.
"Thirty-six," he said, looking up at his mother and father. "That's two less than last year."
"What! Thirty-six," even I wouldn't get that many." Almost everyone at the Slytherin table agreed with Lucius Malfoy.
"That's not how you raise a child!" Augusta said, appalled by the way the muggles raise their son.
"All right, thirty-seven then," said Dudley, going red in the face. Harry, who could see a huge Dudley tantrum coming on, began wolfing down his bacon as fast as possible in case Dudley turned the table over.
"And Harry gets a cupboard and old cloths," Remus growled.
Aunt Petunia obviously scented danger, too, because she said quickly, "And we'll buy you another two presents while we're out today. How's that, popkin? Two more presents. Is that all right''
"Oh." Dudley sat down heavily and grabbed the nearest parcel. "All right then."
"He is not serious....."
"Noooo!" James, Remus, Peter, Marlene, and most of the Griffindors shouted at the same time, cutting Ana off as she looked at them perplexed.
"Of course not, I'm Sirius!" Sirius grinned at the Griffindors before winking at Ana, who looked at him as if he had grown three heads.
"Someone please cast a stinging hex at him," Chris whispered under his breath after seeing Sirius winking at Ana.
Uncle Vernon chuckled. "Little tyke wants his money's worth, just like his father. 'Atta boy, Dudley!" He ruffled Dudley's hair.
"More like an over spoiled brat," quipped Apolline.
"Bad news, Vernon," she said. "Mrs. Figg's broke her leg. She can't take him." She jerked her head in Harry's direction. Dudley's mouth fell open in horror, but Harry's heart gave a leap of joy. Every year on Dudley's birthday, his parents took him out for the day, leaving Harry with Mrs. Figg, a mad old lady who lived two streets away. Harry hated it there. The whole house smelled of cabbage, and Mrs. Figg made him look at photographs of all the cats she'd ever owned.
"Mrs. Figg as in Arabella Figg," Dorea's frowned at Albus. That's who you assigned to check upon my grandson."
"Who is Mrs.Figg, Mum?" questioned James.
"She is a squib who is part of the Order of Phoenix." answered Charlus.
"What's that? Sirius joined the conversation, clearly intrigued. "The Order of Phoenix."
"This is not the place for such discussion kids. Maybe later." Charlus evaded the question tying to cover up his slip.
But, from the looks on his sons and friends faces, he had done a very poor job at that.
Harry saw an opportunity. "I could stay here and look after myself," he suggested, hoping that Pix might come to meet him if the Dursleys weren't around.
"We could phone Marge," Uncle Vernon suggested.
"Don't be silly, Vernon, she hates the boy."
'The feeling is mutual. Thank you very much' Harry though.
The Dursleys often spoke about Harry like this, as though he wasn't there-or rather, as though he was something very nasty that couldn't understand them, like a slug.
"What about... what's-her-name, ..... your friend-Yvonne?"
"On vacation in Majorca," snapped Aunt Petunia.
"You could just leave me here," Harry tried once again.
Aunt Petunia looked as though she'd just swallowed a lemon. "And come back and find the house in ruins?" she snarled.
"I won't blow up the house," said Harry, but they weren't listening.
"Oh! but I definitely would." Sirius has a look on his face whenever he is plotting something wicked.
"I suppose we could take him to the zoo," said Aunt Petunia slowly, "... and leave him in the car..."
"That car's new; he's not sitting in it alone..."
"Evans, your sister and her husband are some real pieces of work." Lily looked at Amelia like, 'Tell me something I didn't know.
Dudley began to cry loudly. In fact, he wasn't really crying-it had been years since he'd really cried-but he knew that if he screwed up his face and wailed, his mother would give him anything he wanted.
"Dinky Duddydums, don't cry. Mummy won't let him spoil your special day!" she cried, flinging her arms around him.
Sirius and Peter were making fun of Dudley's nickname at a corner.
"I... don't... want... him... t-t-to come!" Dudley yelled between huge, pretend sobs. "He always sp-spoils everything!"
"Arrogant, spoilt, little shit." Dorea pretended to not hear James's comments.
He shot Harry a nasty grin through the gap in his mother's arms, making harry roll his eyes.
Everyone snickered at Harry's reaction.
Just then, the doorbell rang-"Oh, good Lord, they're here!" said Aunt Petunia frantically-and a moment later, Dudley's best friend, Piers Polkiss, walked in with his mother. Piers was a scrawny boy with a face like a rat.
"I take offense to that!" Peter cried making the marauders laugh.
He was usually the one who held people's arms behind their backs while Dudley hit them. Dudley stopped pretending to cry at once.
"Can't be seen crying like a baby, can he." Royce scowled.
Half an hour later, Harry, who couldn't believe his luck, was sitting in the back of the Dursleys' car with Piers and Dudley, on the way to the zoo for the first time in his life. His heart was pounding with excitement. Dudley and Piers were sniggering behind their hands. They were planning something, Harry could tell. He knew better than to try and get involved.
"At least he know what self preservation is, unlike someone we know." James scowled at Snape for his comment.
"Your input is not needed here, so bugger off, Snape." Sirius sneered at him, suddenly coming for his friends defence.
"Kids!" Yvette muttered
Uncle Vernon had taken Harry aside. "I'm warning you now, boy -- any funny business, anything at all -- and you'll be in that cupboard from now until Christmas."
James and Lily stared at the screen in horror.
"What! you can't treat a child like that," cried a very horrified Molly Weasley.
"That's it, I'm going to kill them." Sirius was so furious that it needed both Remus and Peter to hold him down.
"I'm not going to do anything," said Harry, "honestly."
But Uncle Vernon didn't believe him. No one ever did. The problem was, strange things often happened around Harry, and it was just no good telling the Dursleys he didn't make them happen.
"It was probably his accidental magic showing." Flitwick said to one in general.
It was a very sunny Saturday, and the zoo was crowded with families. The Dursleys bought Dudley and Piers large chocolate ice creams at the entrance, and then, because the smiling lady in the van had asked Harry what he wanted before they could hurry him away, they bought him a cheap lemon ice pop. It wasn't bad, either, Harry thought, licking it as they all walked away. Harry was careful to walk a little way apart from the Dursleys so that Dudley and Piers, who were starting to get bored with the animals by lunchtime, wouldn't fall back on their favorite hobby of hitting him.
"Oh! Sweet Nimue! They are getting on my nerves." Ana turned to James Potter "Potter, I don't care what you think but once your kid is born, I'm taking him to the zoo as many times as he wants."
Before James could respond, Sirius jumped in. "You'll have to get in line, darling. I've already claimed first dibs on all the fun outings."
Ana glared playfully at Sirius. "Oh yeah? We'll see about that."
Sirius smirked back. "Bring it on"
The Dursleys didn't pay Harry any attention, and he got lost in the crowd. While rushing back to get to them, Harry collided with a small body and fell to the ground. His face was covered with brown curls, and he realized that it was a small girl of his age. He got up first and helped her to her feet. They both stared awkwardly at each other and started to apologize at the same time.
Sirius grinned widely. "Look at Harry, already charming the ladies."
James laughed. "Atta boy, Harry! That's my son."
"You mean, my son," Lily added, a playful smile on her lips.
Remus chuckled, giving James a playful nudge. "Looks like Harry's got better luck with girls than you did at his age, James."
"I'm sorry!" they both said in unison, and then tried again. "No, really, it's my fault!"
The girl giggled, and soon Harry started laughing with her.
Alice teased, "Oh, how adorable! Young love."
The girl laughed nervously, her cheeks pink. "I'm Mia. Well, Hermione, really, but everyone calls me Mia."
"I'm Hardin, but call me Harry" he replied.
"What! "Harry is not his full name." James asked Lily, "I had no idea Harry was his nickname."
"If it makes you feel better, neither does I," she replied.
Frank laughed heartily. "Whatever the case, Harry's already smoother than any of us were at that age."
"I got lost. I was looking at the zebras, and then... well, I lost my nanny. She's always on her phone," Hermione rambled, her words tumbling out in a rush. "My parents are dentists, you see, and they couldn't come, so they sent me with her. She doesn't even care about the animals."
Harry smiled, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. He found he didn't mind her rambling at all. "I'm lost too, trying to find my family."
" Oh! Ok, Let's look together then," Hermione suggested.
Regulus, watching the scene thoughtfully, leaned over to Rabastan. "Does she look familiar to you?"
Rabastan squinted at the girl, nodding slowly. "Yeah, she does. There's something familiar about her features."
They wandered through the reptile house, Harry feeling a growing sense of camaraderie with this talkative girl. It felt nice, like having a friend again. After a while, Harry realized Mia had gone quiet. He turned around and saw her standing near a cage, her nose practically pressed against the glass, a look of intense curiosity on her face. Harry, intrigued by her obvious fascination, approached her quietly.
"Do you like snakes?" he asked.
At that point, every Slytherin in the room straightened up a bit.
Hermione turned, a little startled but then smiled warmly. "Yes, I like them. Did you know that some snakes can live for years without eating?"
By that time every snake had a smug look on their face, making other houses to scowl at them.
Harry shook his head, "They can? I didn't know that."
Mia nodded and they once again begin their searching.
They found Dudley and his friend near a big snake. They were tapping and knocking on the glass of the sleeping snake, trying to make it move. Mia exclaimed in horror.
"How can he disturb the poor snake like that? What a horrible boy!" she said, frowning.
Harry grinned. "You've got no idea."
Hermione looked at him curiously. "How do you live with them?"
"I manage," Harry shrugged.
Hermione shook her head, still looking at Dudley and Piers with disdain. "Let's go have a look."
They moved in front of the tank, and Harry peered at the snake. "I wouldn't be surprised if it's dead from boredom."
Hermione giggled. "Poor thing"
"She got an awful fascination with snakes," James murmured, already disliking the idea of his son's friend's potential girl friend liking snakes.
"Jamsie, she is turning our prongslet into the dark side," cried Sirius.
"Oh my God! Do you know who else has an awful fascination?" Rea asked. "The entire school does. An awful fascination and bloody competition with houses."
Hearing that, Remus quipped, "You are saying that Ilvermonry doesn't have house competitions and rivalry."
"Oh! It does. But not like this, and surely not this much."
Suddenly, the snake opened its beady eyes, raised its head until its eyes were on a level with Harry's, and winked.
"Snakes don't wink," Lucius stated.
Harry and Mia stared at each other in disbelief and then looked back at the snake. They quickly looked around to see if anyone was watching. Harry looked back at the snake and winked too, making Mia laugh.
"That's not very normal," Christian frowned.
The snake jerked its head toward Uncle Vernon and Dudley, then raised its eyes to the ceiling. It gave Harry a look that said quite plainly, "I get that all the time."
"I know," Harry murmured through the glass, though he wasn't sure the snake could hear him. "It must be really annoying."
Everyone's jaws dropped.
"Is he talking to a snake?" Narcissa asked in confusion.
"He's a Parselmouth!?" Sirius stammered.
"Oh Godric! My son is talking to snakes." James said, shock covering his face.
"How is that possible?" Charlus whispered. "I am not a Parseltongue, and neither is James. There was never a Potter being a Parseltongue before in history.
"Nor in the Black linage," added Dorea.
"Can you talk to it?" Hermione whispered eyes wide.
Harry hesitated, and then leaned closer to the glass. "Hello," he said softly.
The snake's tongue flicked out, and Harry heard a faint hissing voice in his mind. "Hello, young friend", and nodded.
Hermione's eyes widened in wonder, "Is it... can it really understand you?"
"Seems like it," Harry said, feeling a thrill of excitement.
Edgar raised an eyebrow. "Wait a second, isn't she a Muggle? Should she be made aware of this?"
Arthur looked puzzled. "Yeah, it's practically breaking the Statute of Secrecy."
Ted nodded thoughtfully. "Most Muggles would be terrified if they saw magic up close like this."
Emmeline shrugged. "Maybe she's just incredibly brave. Or curious. You know how some people are more open-minded."
"Where do you come from?" Harry asked.
The snake jabbed its tail at a little sign next to the glass. Both Harry and Mia peered at it. 'Boa Constrictor, Brazil'.
"Was it nice there?"
The boa constrictor jabbed its tail at the sign again, and Harry read on: This specimen was bred in the zoo.
"Oh, it's never been to Brazil, Harry?" said Mia sadly.
Remus chuckled. "Seems like curiosity might just outweigh fear here. She's got the makings of a true Gryffindor."
Before Harry could respond, Dudley and Piers came barreling around the corner, shoving Harry aside to get a better look at the snake. Annoyed, Harry glared at them.
"Move over, you," Dudley said, elbowing Harry roughly. Caught by surprise, Harry fell hard on the concrete floor. Hermione yelled at Dudley, but he ignored her.
"That little shit", shouted James
"Bloody wanker"
"Chimpanzee"
What came next happened so fast that no one saw how it happened -- one second, Piers and Dudley were leaning right up close to the glass; the next, they had fallen into the tank with howls of horror. Harry sat up and heard Mia gasp; the glass front of the boa constrictor's tank had vanished. The great snake was uncoiling itself rapidly, slithering out onto the floor. People throughout the reptile house screamed and started running for the exits.
As the snake slid swiftly past him, Harry could have sworn a low, hissing voice said, "Brazil, here I come.... Thanksss, amigo."
"That's some powerful accidental magic." Professor McGonagall mused.
"That's wicked," shouted the Marauders.
Ana chuckled. "The snake likes making dramatic exits. Just the way I like it." She then winked at Sirius when he caught her gaze.
Mia, however, was laughing her head off at the sight of Dudley and Piers' terrified faces, and Harry also joined in.
"I forgive her for liking snakes." Sirius said dramatically, only for everyone to royally ignore him.
Suddenly, Hermione grabbed Harry's arm and dragged him towards her nanny, who was standing at the entrance, frowning at them.
"There you are, young lady," the nanny scolded. "I've been looking all over for you."
Hermione protested, "I didn't run away. I was just... exploring."
"And a penchant for mischief, my son has better taste." James grinned at Sirius.
The nanny didn't seem to care. "It's time to go home."
Harry felt a pang of sadness as Hermione turned to him. "Will we meet again?" she asked.
"I don't know," Harry replied honestly.
Hermione reached into her pocket and handed Harry a small card. "Here, this is my parent's business number. Maybe you can call me."
Harry took the paper, feeling a surge of hope. "Thanks."
Hermione's nanny pulled her away, and Harry watched her leave, feeling a strange emptiness. She was his only friend now, besides Pix.
Fabian nudged Gideon. "Bet you a Galleon they'll be best friends by the end of it."
Camille smirked. "You're on!"
Harry lay in his dark cupboard much later, wishing he had a watch. By the time they were home, Uncle Vernon was sure Harry had something to do with the snake and waited until Piers was safely out of the house before starting on Harry. He was so angry he could hardly speak. He managed to say, "Go -- cupboard -- stay -- no meals."
James looked like he was ready to explode. "How dare he! Locking my son in a cupboard and denying him food?"
Ana looked like she was ready to fight. "I swear, if I ever meet that man, he'll regret ever laying a hand on any child."
Harry didn't know what time it was, and he couldn't be sure the Dursleys were asleep yet. Until they were, he couldn't risk sneaking to the kitchen for some food. He'd lived with the Dursleys almost ten years, ten miserable years, as long as he could remember, ever since he'd been a baby and his parents had died in that car crash.
Lily's eyes were filled with tear. "Someone need to get him out of there."
Alyssa's jaw dropped. "That's beyond cruel. How can anyone be so heartless?"
He couldn't remember being in the car when his parents had died. Sometimes, when he strained his memory during long hours in his cupboard, he came up with a strange vision: a blinding flash of green light and a burning pain on his forehead. This, he supposed, was the crash, though he couldn't imagine where all the green light came from. He couldn't remember his parents at all. His aunt and uncle never spoke about them, and of course, he was forbidden to ask questions. There were no photographs of them in the house.
Mary looked pained, her eyes full of sorrow. "Not being able to remember his parents or even see their pictures-it's heartbreaking. They're practically erasing his past."
"It's not just about the physical abuse; it's the emotional neglect that's just as damaging." Regulus sighed as if he knew what the feeling was like.
When he had been younger, Harry had dreamed of some unknown relation coming to take him away, but it had never happened; the Dursleys were his only family. Yet sometimes, he thought that some strangers in the street seemed to know him. They would wave, glance, and nod at him whenever he got a chance to go outside. He wished he could talk to Pix. He hoped he could see Mia again. He hoped that someone out there loved him enough to take him away, as he felt quite alone here.
The screen again turned off.
James's face showed a mix of frustration and sympathy. "He deserves to feel loved and wanted. The thought that he's holding onto hope for a stranger to come and save him... it's just too much."
Lily placed a hand on his shoulder. Whether it was to ground her or him, no one knows. But both needed the comfort each other can only provide at this moment.
"We will never let it happen." Sirius said, his eyes firm with determination. "It will not happen as long as I have a say in it."
"You guys have us with you." Remus came to their side with Peter, Marlene, Camille, and many other people.
Alice's voice trembled slightly. "But what if we can't defeat You-Know-Who? What then?"
"Then we will know what not to do," said a voice behind them. Ana, accompanied by Chris, Royce, Laurel, and some of the Slytherins and Ilvermorny students, approached and stood beside Sirius. "From what we will learn about the future, we'll know exactly what mistakes to avoid to keep our children safe as long as we can.
Laurel nodded in agreement. "We have the chance to make a difference. We know what's coming, and we can use that knowledge to change as much as we can."
Chris added with a firm tone, "It's not just about fighting the Dark Lord. It's also about ensuring that every child grows up in a world where they have a future to look up to."
Zoe suddenly flew out of nowhere and spoke from Royce's shoulder. "You're stronger together. And if you know what's coming, then you guys can change it for the better."
