Joosin wandered the large council building, in awe of how massive it was. He was a bit timid in his steps and fumbled around with his sweater paws alot, his ears and tail on full show but all he was trying to do was tine his way around.

"You okay there?" A deep voice spoke up from behind him.

Joosin squeaked, spinning around to face the unknown figure. This person was handsome. Obviously human, but ridiculously good looking. Silvery side swept hair and a deep voice to match his adult looks with dark clothes, fingerless gloves.

"I-I'm fine, thank you. Just trying to find my way around is all" Joosin chuckled nervously.

The figure hummed, nodding his head.

"Sorry, but what's your name? I-I haven't seen you around much" Joosin spoke curiously, his ears twitching.

"The name's Im Changkyun, or Kyun, or I.M, I don't care which you decide to call me by" Changkyun shrugged, digging his hands into the pockets of his artfully ripped jeans.

"This is gonna sound weird, but can I call you Kyunnie?" Joosin spoke in a mere whisper, his light blue-ish coloured bangs falling over his pale, nervous filled blue eyes as he twiddled his thumbs.

Changkyun had to bite his bottom lip to keep a loud 'awe' from escaping him. The older nodded, his smirk morphing into a soft smile. Changkyun, though he looked quite scary and intimidating, was a sucker for cute things. It was also kind of why he coddled Kihyun a bit, because the slightly older boy was just too adorable sometimes.

(For those who are confused or don't remember, Monsta X's ages, except for Jooheon's, were changed massively. Changkyun and the others are 19, and Jooheon would be 25 in this fic now)

The two chatted quietly a bit before a loud crash interrupted them. All of a sudden, Chan was seen flying back through the air before his back came into contact with the wall. The Ghoul let out a grunt, falling to his knees seconds later.

Chan shook his head, looking up at a shocked Hyunjin who walked into the room, staring at his shaking hands. He looked up, his eyes wide with fear. He was scared...

Scared of himself.

"W-what did I just do..." Hyunjin blinked, his breathing heavy and uneven.

Jooheon calmly walked into the room, followed by Ravi and Leo.

"Telepathy. Hakyeon has that too" Ravi sighed, "it only happens when he's angry though"

"I...I just pushed him gently, I wasn't angry at all" Hyunjin's voice shook.

Jooheon frowned; something didn't feel right. It was like a darkness was looming over their heads, and in that second, Jooheon realised that danger was closer than they thought.

"I know that look Jooheon" Felix suddenly appeared our of nowhere, "I heard the commotion, and I figured I'd come check out what the fuck just happened, but I'm guessing by the expression on your face right now Jooheon is that something is most definitely not right" Felix frowned, Wonho standing right behind him.

Chan scrambled up into a standing position, dusting himself off as Hyunjin stood there, still in shock at this power he suddenly knew he had. Joosin whimpered, not liking where any of this was going. Changkyun wrapped his arms around Joosin in a friendly hug, wanting nothing more than to protect the smaller from this cruel world.

Wonho glanced over, smirking at the two. Changkyun always had the weakest spot for cute things, but that was also worrying, because it could Changkyun seriously hurt or worse.

"Guys, look!" Jisung suddenly exclaimed, pointing over to the door as he and Minho walked in.

All of them glanced over, Ravi gasping in shock when he saw a beaten and bloodied N being helped into the room by-

"Oh my god, Daesung!?"
