On The Outside

This chapter is going to be based in the civilisation outside the Districts, and also introduce a couple characters

Two hazel eyed young females wandered the streets hand in hand, the younger of the two gripping the others tightly as they wandered the filthy streets of the poor town.

"M-Minsoo" the younger stuttered, "Rosè Unnie is going to kill us if she finds out we snuck out"

"Hush Jae-won, it's okay" Minsoo smiled kindly at the younger Demon Ghoul hybrid, "Rosè Unnie won't mind, I'm sure. She's very kind to us"

Jae-won just nods, her dirty blonde hair covering her eyes and Minsoo's natural ginger hair as smooth as ever. Their clothes were torn and had multiple holes, but it was enough to keep them warm on that cold night.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here" a female voice cooed from behind the two young girls, causing them to freeze, "you two shouldn't be alone out here at night, it's dangerous"

"It's her, it's Jaehwa" Minsoo whispered to Jae-won.

The younger of the two felt like crying; they knew how evil Jaehwa was. She was notorious, working for the high ups along with all her goons and her younger brother Choi Hanuel.

Minsoo was fully prepared to fight, willing to lay down her life for the younger girl whom she thought of as a sister.

"Get away from them Jaehwa" a familiar voice spoke up.

"Sookie unnie!" Minsoo exclaimed.

Sookie paid no mind to Minsoo's exclamation, glaring harshly at Jaehwa. Jaehwa just smirked right back at her, her eyes held a challenge that Sookie refused to accept. Sookie growled, her protective instincts kicking in as Jaehwa stepped closer to Minsoo and Jae-won.

"Jaehwa come on, let's just go" Hanuel, or Han as he liked to be called put a hand on Jaehwa's shoulder, shaking his head.

He knew his older sister would never win a fight against Sookie, a Ghoul Werewolf hybrid. Sookie, although soft looking with an equally as soft voice was strong as hell and had a hidden dark side that she kept locked up.

"What have I told you two about sneaking out, especially at night?" Sookie sighed softly, her glare softening into a worried frown.

"Uh, not to?" Minsoo grinned sheepishly.

"Exactly, and you should know better Jae-won" she lightly scolded the younger girl.

"I-I'm sorry Sookie Unnie" Jae-won muttered apologetically.

Sookie walked past them, motioning for the two young girls to follow her back to the orphanage.

"Rosè is probably extremely worried" Sookie mumbled.

"I'm sorry Sookie Unnie, it's my fault. I basically dragged Jae out of her bed" Minsoo bowed her head.

"It's okay Minsoo, at least you two are safe and aren't hurt"

:::

Jaehwa wandered the streets when the loud sound of trash bins being kicked over and laughter could be heard.

Ah, the troublesome twos were there, it seemed. Chae Nia and Park Yongbok, the bad girl-bad boy duo, best friends since who knows when, even though they're two years apart.

"Nia, Yongbok, get your asses over here!" Jaehwa exclaimed, Han trailing closely behind.

Nia and Yongbok ran over, both grinning ear to ear and covered in filth. Jaehwa turned her nose up.

"What have you two been doing? Rolling with the pigs?" Jaehwa scoffed.

"Yanno, that is a favourite past time of ours, not the you'd know miss rich girl" Nia spat, her expression turning sour.

It was a wonder that Nia and Jaehwa were on the same side, but they were because of Nia's cousin...

Kim Seokjin.

"Nia, I've heard your cousin is here" Jaehwa hummed.

Nia nodded excitedly; she loved seeing her cousin. He was as evil and as twisted as she was, which was definitely a plus.

"Yup" Nia giggled.

"If you run into him, tell him Choi Jaehwa wants to see him. Tell him to meet me at Seunghoon's bar" Jaehwa huffed before her and Han walked off.

Nia and Yongbok shared a look, before running off in the opposite direction. They had to find Seokjin...

:::

Sookie, Minsoo and Jae-won had now reached the orphanage, Minsoo and Jae-won being smothered by a worried Rosè.

"Rosè, stop smothering them" Sookie chuckled.

"I can't help it" Rosè huffed, "they're like my kids"

"Don't you mean our kids, hm?" Sookie teased.

Rosè blushed, pouting.

"Shuddup" Rosè huffed again as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Sookie chuckled, walking up to the blushing woman, placing a kiss on her forehead.

"You got a letter today by the way" Sookie handed a confused Rosè the envelope.

Rosè looked down at the envelope, a smile making its way onto her face. She recognized this handwriting. It was her brothers handwriting...

CLIFFHANGER! Hehehe 😏
