PROLOGUE
Door of a small chamber opened revealing many beautiful paining of wall, and a fragrance worth to get lost in. In the small frame of scenario someone was smiling while fixing some model toys on a huge board.
The smile belonged to a twenty five years old girl who was fixing model toys on a board giving that a look of Kurukshetra, the epic place where Mahabharat had been fought.
"Swastika, how's your work going on?" A mid aged woman called making the girl shift her gaze.
"It's not my work, aunty. It's his work. It was he who had created the illusion of sunset in Kurukshetra to save Arjun. I am just preparing to make everyone live that miraculous moment," Swastika's imagination became active as soon as she mentioned about the epic incident.
Swastika is a daughter of a respectable family, and was favourite of her parents. She had joined her job recently, and was exploring the pleasure of single life being carefree.
She had promised Lord Shrikrishna to offer him something special after getting a job. So, according to her promise she was going to narrate a famous tale of Kurukshetra in one among the toughest situations of that time.
She was going to describe about the fourteenth day of Kurukshetra at stage through some models at display.
She had chosen a special occasion. That occasion was Surya Ghatan which was the exact day when Lord Shrikrishna created the illusion of sunset in kurukshetra.
At that moment Swastika was sitting in the working room of temple of Lord Shrikrishna, and was engrossed in her task before the mid aged woman who was wife of the temple priest entered into.
"I feel so contended to see you, dear. Wrap your arrangements, and reach on stage. We have to complete this program before evening veneration," Swastika nodded at the woman before she walked out.
The play started in time. Swastika presented the tale so beautifully that audience were tempted to hear more from her. The young girl's aspiring attempt of expressing gratitude to God received a huge round of applause.
It was time of evening veneration. Devotional song was sang for the Lord. Musical instruments were played to hail his grace towards mankind. Closing their eyes, devotees were interacting with the Lord.
"Kanha, you have made me keep my promise. I am so happy, but I am worried too. Please, don't make me marry ever. My mother wanted to arrange my wedding once I got job. Don't let this happen," Swastika was pleading with joined hands.
"My heart belongs to someone else, and he's none other than your Parth. I am not asking Arjun from you, but I have the right of remain unmarried for my love towards him. You have to protect this right of mine," she announced her decision to Kanha, firmly.
Spending a little time at temple, Swastika left for her home. On her way she experienced a sudden change in surrounding. The pace of wind started to increase, the darkness of night sky developed into an attractive shade of black colour, and a divine silhouette appeared in sky.
"Kanha! Is it you? Is it for real?" Swastika was surprised after recognising the silhouette as Kanha.
"Yes, it's me, and it's for real. I am here to take you with me," Kanha's pleasant voice surprised her more instead of soothing her.
"Has my lifetime finished? If it were then Lord Yama would come take me, but you came instead!" She exclaimed in naivety.
"Your lifetime hasn't finished. Your time on this earth has been finished. I am here to take you to my era. It's the only way to protect your right of remain unmarried for forever," chuckling at her look, he invited her to join into his time period, lovingly.
"Do you mean I am going to time travel? I have so many fantasies about my role in era of Dwapar. I want to be your Subhadra. Can I, please?" Excitement rushed into her nerves in no time.
"It's not possible, Swastika. Subhadra is Yogmaya, my Maya. No one can be her. She's the one who's beyond imagination. When she can't be gathered in any imagination how can existence of someone else be embedded by her identity?" His lips curved into a mesmerising smile at mention of Subhadra.
"Don't be sad, Swastika. Since you love me as Subhadra I have made a way out for you. You have to divide your existence into two parts," he hinted about a solution.
You had nurtured many ambitions about your role in Dwapar, hadn't you? Your ambitious self will be your own identity, and your affectionate self with which you love me will be merged into Subhadra. You will live inside Subhadra through your affection for me," No one can be Yogmaya since she's unique to an endless extent.
"I accept it, but I have a request," Swastika remembered something which caused raise of her emotions.
"I don't know if I have that much good karmas or not yet I want you to bless my spoil brat younger brother with sense of responsibility. I want him to take good care of my parents after I leave this place, and erase all my memories from this place," thinking about her parents, their unconditional love, her eyes pooled up with tears, and those tears leaked down, instantly.
She never had thought that she had to bide farewell to her parents in such a way. As she never had thought about marriage she had been imagining a life with her parents.
"I too accept your wish. You are an innocent soul, and I can't bear your sadness. So, I am giving you a boon that you can make one more major decision of your life, and I will make that true," Kanha's smile turned into a meaningful one while making the promise.
"I have enough, Kanha. Let's start," she conveyed her preparedness.
A ray of light from Kanha enveloped Swastika signifying her new journey.
