Best of the best days of history of the earth had landed with so much happiness on the land of Dwarka. Along with waves of sea joyous vibes were wondering in the air accompanied by two melodious sounds. The melodious sounds were the cooing and giggling of new born princesses of Dwarka.

Queen Rohini, the eldest wife of Vasudev who had been expecting had given birth to twin girls. Their birth had bathed the whole kingdom with utmost bliss.

Queen Devaki, younger wife Vasudev along with Vasudev was busy in admiring the twins who were held by Balram, son of Vasudev and Rohini.

"Dau, I feel like you aren't able to hold our sisters well. You should increase nutrients in your food," Kanha, the younger brother of Balram commented after noticing Balram's slight movements of arms while holding the babies

"Kanha, I am fully able to hold them. It's just I am ensuring their comfort in my arms," looking at Kanha for once, dau focused his attention on his hold on babies.

"Their places should be changed for better comfort. So, give them to me," Kanha stretched his arms.

"You could ask for your chance, but as usual you had to play with words," shaking his head slightly, dau placed the newborns in Kanha's arms with help of Devaki.

"Welcome to family, my dears. Our whole clan owe to you both for cheering us like no one have done ever," Kanha flashed a smiling look towards twins which they returned, happily.

"Indeed, They are blessing to our clan. We should arrange for their naming ceremony. I am eager to know those names which will bring glory to our clan," Vasudev stood beside Kanha caressing heads of twins.

After the declaration an immediate auspicious day was fixed for naming ceremony. Many guests were invited, and many commoners were welcomed to gain their good wishes for princesses.

"Both the princesses will be brave and intelligent. Their tales will be famous, and they will frame their identities earning love and respect from others," Acharya Garg, kulguru of Yadav clan predicted the future of princesses.

"According to the time of their birth S alphabet will be auspicious for the first letter of their names," he announced.

Rohini had entrusted Devaki to choose suitable names for their daughters. Despite being co wives both the queens were no less than sisters to each other. So, it was obvious that Rohini would forward the right to Devaki who was mother to the twins, equally.

"Elder one in between the twin will be named as Swastika means good fortune, and........," Devaki uttered the name of elder one at first.

"Younger one will be named as Subhadra means great source of auspiciousness," with the declaration of name of younger princess, everyone became delighted.

"Hail to princess Subhadra and Swastika!" Subjects hailed the names with great enthusiasm.
