(27) PERMISSION GRANTED

Each one has a dream of a life which will mesmerise them with its charm. It seems as the greatest grace in life, but more than grace a meaningful guide is necessary for life. Grace makes us happy, but guidance keeps us away from havocs, close to the hold of peace. Like that way more than mesmerised moments a mission is needed for life.

Mesmerising moments had taken themselves away from Subhadra's life, but a mission had entered into her life. She recognised and even reciprocated that.

During those days atrocities of demons were at its peak. They had a different intention this time. They intended to spread their culture all over the Aryavrat. So, more than the wealth of any kingdom demons used to bound the king of that kingdom to accept their culture, their values.

Attacking on various kingdoms demons had successfully executed their mission even. They had attacked over Mathura even twice. After being defeated the demons challenged Kanha and dau to stop them without using any force, without any violent means.

Subhadra declared to accept that challenge in royal assembly. She even declared to go to "Patal lok" residence of demons to guide them to the right path from the revengeful one. Everyone was shocked to react over her decision.

Rohini and Devaki tried to change Subhadra's decision, but she was determined about her journey to patal. Being helpless both the mothers asked Yashoda's help.

"Change your mind. You aren't going anywhere," Yashoda declared with a stern glare.

"But maiya, I have declared my decision in royal assembly, in front of everyone that too including the kings who came to ask from dau and bhratashri," Subhadra came forward countering Yashoda gently.

"That's the mistake you did. Why did you announce anything like that in royal assembly?" Yashoda scolded Subhadra in a worry stricken tone.

"Then where should I had announced?" Subhadra added a little vibe of humour to her question.

"Nowhere, you don't need to announce anything anywhere. Keep quite, and be in home or else be ready to give company to any of the pillar of palace being tied yourself to that," With a sharp glare Yashoda warned.

"Maiya, am I really wrong this time?" Subhadra softened expression to get Yashoda's calm self back, and that happened exactly.

"It's not, my dear. Your decision is right at your place, but we can't support it," Yashoda caressed Subhadra's cheek affectionately.

"That's what I wanted to know. Why can't you support me?" Holding Yashoda's hand Subhadra hoped to melt Yashoda in her favour.

"For a mother her children's safety comes at first. You will understand once you become a mother," Yashoda smiled at the mention of her last word.

"For understanding this I don't need to be that," Subhadra turned her face as she wasn't prepared to take Yashoda's word in a easy way.

"A mother!" Yashoda corrected.

"Yes, I don't need to be that. I understand your concern, but if I don't go then the glory of my clan will be tainted due to me," Holding Yashoda's hand Subhadra pleaded.

"It's a serious matter indeed," Yashoda became thoughtful which Subhadra took as an advantage.

"And none will marry me even. Who will marry a princess who has been tagged as a coward already?" Subhadra acted to make Yashoda more concern about the matter. Even Rohini and Devaki too shared tensed glances which Subhadra was enjoying secretly.

"Ok, fine. You will go. No one will stop you now," Yashoda's face drained all the colours while uttering this sentence.

"Don't be sad, Maiya. I will keep writing to all of you," Subhadra assured her mothers with a smiling face.

"What if they don't allow you?" Devaki asked gaining supporting glance from Rohini and Yashoda as they both had the same question in their minds.

"She knows the skills of getting her wish done. So, don't worry," Kanha entered into the conversation with his usual smile.

"Taunt in excuse of helping me! I am noting down your this grace to pay you back later," Subhadra warned Kanha playfully.

"Thank you for your kind thought of paying my share back," Kanha too reciprocate her playfulness.

"Don't fight you both. Gudiya, let's start your packing," Rohini's words made Subhadra chuckle.

"I am not going for any picnic. I am going on a mission," Subhadra reminded the ladies who were staring at her being confused.

"That demands the importance of packing even more than any picnic," Devaki countered again gaining supporting glances from Rohini and Yashoda.

"You will understand once you become.........," Yashoda was about to say, but stopped noticing Subhadra's sullen look.

"No, not again!" Subhadra flashed an annoying smirk.

"Once you become responsible," Yashoda completed her sentenced making everyone laugh including Subhadra.
