After preparations are done for a specific purpose we have two ways to feel about that. Either we don't get sleep due to excitement or we get a sound sleep. The purpose of mentioning this is the mixed state of Mathura's people. Many of them were wandering in their own world of excitement after completing preparations of holi.

However after passing a restless night in a good way everyone woke up to a beautiful festive day. After getting ready everyone started to wish each other. Maids and attendants were arranging stuffs with great cheers after all arrangements are the most enjoyable tasks during any festival.

Members of royal family met each other at the vast arena meant for holi function.

"Dau, you are clean yet. Why wasn't the grace of this occasion seen on your face?" Vijaya's smiling eyes roamed around dau.

"The grace of this occasion means colour is meant to play somewhere else," Dau replied reciprocating Vijaya's smile.

"That means we have to go somewhere!" Karenumati exclaimed being unable to take the words of dau.

"Every year we play colour in Vrindavan. After attending some guests we will leave. Do join us. It will be the best holi for all of you," Dau explained the agenda which had been continuing since long.

"Where were the duo who made us prey yesterday?" Nakul asked eying at Arjun.

"Kanha and Gudiya had left for Vrindavan. They leave me behind every year to handle everything here," Drawing an expression of dramatic sadness dau sighed.

"Really, being an elder brother is never easy," Nakul too sighed followed by dau.

"My dream came true, Nakul. Finally you realised this," Arjun made everyone laugh with his statement.

After wrapping up necessary tasks Dau lead Arjun to Vrindavan along with his brothers and sisters in law. As soon as they reached Vrindavan coloured water fall over them leaving no inch of their body untouched.

"Ehhhh! What's this?" Nakul screamed in no time.

"Welcome on holi!" Dau replied cleaning his face.

"Nakul, you are looking more handsome then usual," Arjun chuckled.

"You are also looking no less handsome," Nakul wasn't in a mood to be teased.

"Let's go, and meet Nand baba and Yashoda maiya," Dau took a step forward leading everyone.

"But who did this to us?" Nakul's question stopped everyone's move.

"One of the two who made you helpless yesterday," Subhadra came forward with a proud smile.

"I won't spare you today," Nakul positioned himself for a race.

"Sure, come and get me," Subhadra ran without wasting more words.

Nakul started running behind Subhadra, but she vanished in the crowd. Everyone had smeared colour on their faces. So, it was difficult to find Subhadra among many girls. Suddenly Nakul held someone's hand assuming her Subhadra, but she wasn't Subhadra. As a result girls coloured him together, and he was looking funnier than before.

"What a beautification Nakul!" Arjun commented noticing Nakul coming towards the arena of celebration.

"Today we discovered some new colours as they are contrasting very well on Nakul's face," Sahdev too joined Arjun.

"Correction, his handsome face," The duo started laughing very hard.

"Maiya, is this what I should get?" Nakul moved towards Yashoda complaining about his siblings.

"No, my dear. Clean yourself. I am going bring drinks and desserts for you," Patting on his cheek Yashoda handed him a clean piece of cloth.

Yashoda left for bringing drinks and desserts, and Renu appeared immediately after that.

"What's this, Renu? You too joined in favour of my mishap!" Nakul voiced out his annoyance when Renu smeared some more colour on his face.

"It should be me to colour you at first, but I became the last, and you are scolding me after being coloured by many girls except me!" Huffing at Nakul she went away.

"Renu! Listen! I didn't mean that," Nakul called her, but no gain.

"Looks like drinks and desserts aren't written in his fate," Arjun faked a pity expression.

"He did a huge mistake running behind Gudiya," Kanha told halting himself from having butter.

After playing colour Kanha came back to register his name in the good book of Yashoda maiya who had instructed him not to play around all the day.

"Even we never dare to chase her when she challenges us," Dau shared a mischievous smirk with Kanha.

"Poor Nakul!" Sahdev sighed trying not to chuckle.

"This is injustice. You both could warn me," Nakul focused his annoyed glare towards Kanha and dau.

"You didn't spare that chance to us," Dau was trying hard to sound genuine.

Rather than arguing Nakul went behind Renu to convince her. It was the wise move taken by him.

As per dau's words holi became one of the best celebrations for Arjun and his family. After afternoon the cheers of celebration slowed down, but Subhadra was no where to be found.

"This girl! She must be playing in Yamuna. Kanha go, and bring her," Yashoda ordered as she was well aware of her naughty daughter.

"Sure, Maiya. I will bring her pulling by ear," Kanha initiated to take advantage of the situation against Subhadra.

"You aren't so innocent to pull her ear. If I start narrating your tales then......," Yashoda glared at Kanha, but he didn't let her complete.

"Maiya, I am going," Fastening his steps he left from there.

On the way Arjun met Kanha who was walking weirdly on the heated path. Observing keenly Arjun found that Kanha didn't have foot wears.

"Where are you going, Madhav?" Arjun asked coming forward.

"To bring Gudiya from bank of Yamuna," Kanha replied in hurry.

"You don't have foot wears. Let me do this instead of you," Arjun told what exactly Kanha wanted to.

"That's so nice of you, Parth!" Kanha pulled Arjun into a quick hug.

Smiling at Kanha, Arjun headed towards his destination.

"Well done, Vasudev. Now it's bhrara Arjun's turn to be troubled," Nakul appeared out of blue smirking at the fading figure of Arjun.

Kanha too smiled a perfectly matching one with Nakul.
