Anurag left the place with Maya as Rudra asked him. Aayush and Rudra left to Aayush's place, which is a Bachelor pad of his. 

Handing Rudra a mug of coffee, which is much needed for him right now, Aayush left to the open kitchen for a glass of water. Both of them sat in silence for some time until Rudra decided to break the ice. 

"I don't know what to believe?" Rudra said rubbing his both temples. 

Aayush didn't utter a word and after a minute or so, he spoke, choosing his words carefully. 

"We never knew any Arjun in our life. D'you? By any chance?" Rudra squeezed his eyes shut; trying to remember someone of that name. 

"No. I don't think so." He shook his head vigorously. Both of them sat there some time, not knowing what to do further. 

"Rudra, Maya said she had some things of both that Harini and Arjun, with her right. What if we find something in them?" Aayush said leaping into that memory. 

"Yeah! You are right. Let's go." Rudra struck in his tracks when he felt a tug at his wrist. turning around, he looked at Aayush, who shook his head in a no. 

"Not now, Rudra. Maya must be tired and you also should get some rest. let it be, we'll go tomorrow." Don't know what will happen tomorrow. Aayush completed in his mind. 

Obeying Aayush, which he always does, Rudra went to the guest room and took a long shower to get rid of his tiredness of the past. When he came out after a good fifteen minutes, he came across Aayush sitting on his bed, scrolling his phone, with a First Aid Kit beside him. A small smile escaped Rudra. Some things never change. 

Sighing, he strides towards Aayush who acknowledges his presence after receiving a slap on his shoulder. 

"What are you here for?" Rudra asks him as he settles down on the bed comfortably. 

"As if you don't know!" Aayush scoffs and snatches Rudra's hand as he takes out some anti-septic lotion from the kit. 

"You're the one responsible for these wounds Rudra. You inflicted your own pain forgetting that there are people in your life who go through the same you do, because of this." Aayush chided Rudra for the wounds but it hit Rudra another way. 

"Aayush?" Rudra called him and in return he just Hmm-ed. "Hmm" "Will Maya be the same after all these confessions I made? I mean, doesn't her demeanor change towards me? Or her love for me?" Aayush kept mum all the while and when he felt Rudra was done with his mindless and endless questions, Aayush looked at him, trying to find words that would console his friend but found none.

 At last, he said what he felt "You know her more than me and this also, the "change" thing, you should know that, will she change or not." But for now, drink this juice and sleep, and I know you're not hungry nor thirsty but please drink this for me, now." After finishing, Aayush handed him a glass of juice, which was mixed with a couple of sleeping pills. 

As Rudra finished drinking, Aayush took the empty glass and placed it on the coffee table beside, made Rudra lie on the mattress, covered him with the quilt, and left the room, switching off the light. 

Aayush very well knows Maya. In fact, he knows Maya more than Rudra does because Rudra was in love with her that he failed to know Maya Jai Singh's wrath. Perhaps, she has leaped into that memory lane which is why she broke down in front of them. But, what after when she wakes up from her sleep which kept her away from the truth. She definitely never forgives Rudra. Because that's a BETRAYAL for her. Though, she now knows that what made Rudra do that thing, her anger will not let her think for her LOVE. She definitely won't spare both of them. What may it cost--their lives also. Soon with all these thoughts running in his mind, sleep took over Aayush.

It's past 2 AM, and Rudra Roy was tossing and turning in his bed, because of the nightmare he's facing now. And with a startle, he woke up from his sleep, sweat dripping from his forehead. As soon Rudra got acquainted with the surroundings, he felt safe again, from her LOVE. LOVE? Maya; He felt safe away from Maya. 

Not the same Maya who calms him down whenever he get frightened because of those haunting nightmares. That Maya, who's now ready to destroy them who betrayed her. Who wronged her. Who played the LOVE GAME with her. Game? Rudra thought. Though his love was real, will she ever believe in him ever again? Suffocated by his own thoughts, Rudra left to the balcony attached to the room. 

The cool wind passed through him as soon as Rudra stepped into the balcony. His eyes caught a shimmery thing in that moonlight. Reaching for that, Rudra bent down to take it and concluded it is a sleeping tablet sheet. But there were none in that. Thinking of the possible reasons, he smiled at it realizing that his best friend would have done it for him to get some peace in sleep. But how would he know that, that his peace was not in those tablets but in the person in whom he inflicted pain? Aayush was right. It's him. It's all him. Rudra sighed thinking about the recent happenings in his life. All of his 7 years full planned work was failed because of his misinterpretation. Now It costs his LOVE, his LIFE. And now, after all of this, he has no hope left in him, that Maya will not change. Of course, she will change. She's Maya Jai Singh for god's sake and she will not spare them.

Rudra didn't know how long he stood there with Maya's thoughts running inside him. It's then, he realized that the sky is uncovering from its black sheet and its dawning. Sighing, he left to the bedroom and laid there staring at the ceiling for some time, until sleep took over him.

Nobody knows what happens in the future, and you can't undo the past. All you have to do is, play your role in the present and see what costs you and where it takes you...
