18. Back to Normal
WARNING:- NOT PROOFREAD
Aayush has been trying his luck with the girls pacing to and fro in the boutique who are in return not paying any heed to his gawking. That's when his head received a tight slap, resulting in his head fall forward, and fortunately or unfortunately, he didn't fall off the couch. Startled, he turned around to his best friend's sight grinning ear to ear.
"What the hell, Rudra? I could have..." "That's why I slapped you, my Darling!" Rudra winked at Aayush who came and stand in front of him.
"So that I could fell off the couch flat on my face?" Aayush had a serious face. Rudra shrugged his shoulders as a chuckle escaped him.
"Huh... No value for true friendships, these days, man." Aayush feigned shedding a tear. Rudra punched him in the stomach at his dramebaaz friend.
"You should try your hand at Acting, yaar!" Rudra said while giggling Aayush to him.
"I know right!" Aayush grinned at him. Rudra shook his head at him smiling.
"By the way, is all okay? What did she say?" Aayush came back to the point for what they've been here.
"She broke down, man. She's so fragile." Rudra said, remembering the things that happened in Maya's cabin.
"How's she now?" Aayush asked with a sad expression.
"She's fine now! And..." Rudra paused with a thoughtful face.
"And..." Aayush frowned at the pause, anticipating something else.
"And, we are back, I guess," Rudra said with the same face which confused Aayush first but when he realized and glanced at Rudra whose face broke into a big smile, he screamed in joy.
"Rudy..." Jumping in joy, he hugged Rudra, continuing screaming. By now, Maya's assistants and the new interns gathered around these two maniacs with weird glances.
"I can't believe, really?" Aayush asked with his glinting eyes looking at Rudra incredulously.
Rudra nodded his head and broke into a chuckle. Both of them hugged each other again while girls around them started whispering among themselves.
There came the girl, to rescue them from the weird glances of girls, Tejaswi.
"Don't y'all have any other work, other than peeking into people's lives?" She screamed at them while everyone dispersed not even within a minute. It just took her 15 seconds all, to shut their mouths.
"Hey, Tejaswi." Rudra cheered at her which made her frown fade away and broke into a small smile.
"Thank you, yaar." He said, forwarding his hand. Tejaswi took it gladly.
"Please, don't!" She smiled. Rudra made his way out with his Aayush unknown of the Love flowing down Tejaswi's eyes.
She drew a deep breath and left to her work, which she always does.

"What? Seriously?" Anurag screamed into his phone making Rudra pull it away from his ears.
"Why are you screaming?" Rudra yelled at him. Anurag bit his tongue before starting to speak.
"I'm sorry, but, you guys really talked out and sorted now?" Anurag asked still not believing what Rudra said about him and Maya.
Rudra couldn't help but chuckle at him. Shooking his head, he said.
"Haa, yaar. Believe it. I'm back now. I have so many things to do, on my pending list. I have to talk to my parents about us as soon as possible. And, our..." "Woah, slow down my boy." Anurag interrupted Rudra.
"First breath and then go running your errands." Anurag chuckled at him. Rudra smiled.
"Yeah! I'm in hurry to complete all of this, Anurag. As soon as possible. Introduce Maya to my Parents, and let them fix our marriage. I just... I just want everything to be perfectly done to make Maya happy yaar. I've been an asshole all these years but not anymore. I just want all the happiness in the world for her." Rudra said with his smile intact and eyes far away, searching something outside the window in the orange-hued sky.
Anurag couldn't help but thank god for this man in his best friend's life. He smiled to himself before taking Rudra's leave.
"Rudra!" Aayush came from the kitchen with two cups of chai for themselves for the blissful evening.
Rudra took it from Aayush and settled on the carpet, with his back supporting by the couch, followed by Aayush.
"Aayush!" Rudra called him, sipping on his Tea. Aayush lifted his head to look at him.
"I'm thinking to make this evening special for us, man. To me and Maya. What do you think?" He asked.
"Means, you want to surprise her?" Aayush asked.
"Kind of." Rudra shrugged his shoulders.
"Do whatever you want, why are you asking my permission?" Aayush squinted his eyes at Rudra.
Rudra made a face with his pearl white teeth on display. Aayush who concluded the thing going on in his Rudra's mind shook his head from left to right before working on his words.
"What? N... No... Rudra, No!" Aayush made a cry baby face by the end of his words while Rudra started to grin.
"Yaar, what the hell. You can plan her a surprise somewhere else, na! Why here?" Aayush whined falling flat on the floor.
"So, that's a yes?" Rudra asked with a glint in his eyes.
Aayush glared at him. "Do I have a choice now?" He scoffed before storming into the kitchen.
Rudra broke into a laugh before gathering himself to think what could he do to surprise his leading lady that night.
"What if I cook for her?" Rudra said to himself and that's all it took for him to plan everything he needs to do that night.
"Aayush, am going out and will be back in 30 minutes." He screamed before dashing out of the door with the car keys in his hands.

"Pasta, Mangoes, Milkmaid..." Rudra was checking in the trolley the things he needed for him to make what his lady loves when his phone rang.
"Hello?" He reverted it without seeing.
"Hi!" A voice cheered into his ears etching a frown on his face. He took the phone and checked the caller ID which is an unknown number.
"Who's this?" Rudra asked to get silence as an answer. "I presume, it's a wrong number, sorry."
"Wait." There came a voice when Rudra decided to cut the call. "It was never a wrong number, Rudra." The sensuous female voice said into the phone.
Rudra's deepened frown made it clear that he couldn't decide who it was at the wrong time.
"Whos it?" Asked Rudra.
"Someone you'd never wish or think to meet." She said and cut the call.
Rudra cursed her mentally, before making his way to the counter and then outside to his car.
"Don't know who calls just like that these days. Pranks and all, I see!" He talked to himself while starting his car. "Don't these people have any other work other than pranking other people and wasting their time?" He said and sighed.
"This signal, damn it!" The impatient kid in him cursed the signal. But, he doesn't know that he'll thank it for happening so, later.
Cause that is when, again, the girl crossed his car on a bike. She stood a few meters away from his car and removed her helmet to shook her head which made her smooth curls play with the wind.
Rudra who is staring at the stranger girl, accelerated his car forward to have a look at her face though he didn't realize he intended to look at her.
And before he has a clear interpretation of the girl in front of his eyes, she zoomed away as the red signal turned green at the same moment, not giving much time for him to get shocke00d properly.
Rudra's mouth flung open as the blurry image of the girl he has is matching with Harini in his head. Before he can think of any other thing, the vehicles behind his car are stuck and honking at him to move. Rudra parked his car aside after a minute as he started to hyperventilate.
Controlling his breaths, he placed his palm near his chest. Unknown to himself, her name made its way to his mouth.
"Ha... Hari... Harini?"
The End
Hello, all my lovely readers and am very very sorry for keeping you all waiting like this but, I don't know, I had no time for this to complete.
What do you guys think about it. Did Rudra see Harini or just imagining her? Tell me in the comments.
So, have a good day. Bye. Love you all.
