Aoi Valt
Aoi Bakery.
A place where people get their delicious bread and hang out by the large windows. You're new to this little town and wanted to get a snack for the day. So far, everyone in this place was nice to you, heck, even some kids invited you to their BeyBattles! Now, you're not much of a Blader yourself but enjoy it nonetheless.
Sniffing the air of the bakery sent good feelings coursing through your veins. Everything here made your mouth water! They even sold cupcakes here!
"Hi!! Welcome to the bakery!" You turned around to see a blue-haired-boy with shining brown eyes. "Would you like anything?"
"Oh, everything here looks delicious," you complimented before chuckling nervously. "I wish I could buy one of everything but I'll be killing my wallet."
The boy seemed to be understanding. "I know how that feels," he smiled. "So I'll give you some of my recommendations!" He said eagerly and sprinted off to the shelves. You could only watch in awe as the boy took various bread and began to wrap them up in paper. As he did so, he didn't want the conversation to stop. "Say, I haven't seen you around in these parts. What's your name?"
You stopped gazing upon the mouth-watering bread. "Oh! I'm [Last name] [First name]. I just moved here a few days ago."
"Ah, so that explains it!" The boy gave you a cheeky smile. "I'm Aoi Valt. Nice to meet you!"
Aoi Tokonatsu
Caffeine is something that you absolutely need to get through the day. Without it, you're really grumpy until you have caffeine in your damn body. Thankfully, there's a small cafe around the corner that you became a regular in! Mostly because you loved their coffee and the pastries!
"Ah! Hello, [First name]!" Tokonatsu greeted as he came over to your table. "The usual again?"
"Heck yeah," you nodded as he laughed and turned right back around to the kitchen. Tokonatsu is your usual waiter whenever you come over. You come so often that the two of you became quick friends! In fact, the reason why you frequently come over is that he looked adorable! Something about him made you very comfortable!
A few minutes later, Tokonatsu came back with your usual order. Coffee with cookies and cupcakes! "Man, I'm confused how you're not getting cavities," Tokonatsu teased the as you took a seat across from you.
"I brush my teeth every day, I'll be fine," you reassured while waving him off. "You worry too much."
"I never get regulars," Tokonatsu says and pointed at you with a smile. "You're my first one!"
"What about that guy?" You asked, pointing to a dude way off to a window. "I've seen him here every day."
"Him?" Tokonatsu hummed before shaking his head. "Nah, that's my co-worker's regular."
"Huh," you muttered before sipping on your coffee. "Well, Sir Aoi Tokonatsu, I'm pleased to be your first regular~!" Tokonatsu laughed as you said that in a British accent.
Kurenai Shu
You slammed your head against the desk and immediately covered your ears. Today, everyone had to do a speech about their idol. You already went up and shared your speech on Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton. And yet, the girl who's up next did hers about Kurenai Shu. Don't get me wrong, your opinion on Shu is fine. Sure, he might be attractive but what does that do for you in life?
"Shu is my idol because of his determination while Beyblading! The way his gorgeous red eyes shine..."
You gave a small whine as the girl moved her speech from how 'determined he is' to 'he's hot'. You lifted your head a little to take a peek at the boy—only to see him give the girl an awkward gaze. Poor guy. He was cursed with good looks.
Thankfully, the horrible speech ended and then another student went to share his. This same pattern repeated itself until the entire class had gone up. The bell for lunch rang as everyone scurried out. You take out your lunch, neared the door, and patted Shu's back.
"Man, I'm sorry. I wish the best of luck with dealing with these fangirls."
Shu appeared to be a little surprised. "Uh, yeah. Thanks...?" You smiled at him before snickering and running off. For some reason, though. Shu didn't feel weirded out at all. Instead, he felt glad knowing that there's at least one girl who isn't rubbing their body all over him.
Kiyama Rantaro
"Can I play with you?"
You looked up from the sandbox as you saw another five-year-old. His blonde hair was basically the same color as the sun which made him ten times brighter. His smile was extremely contagious as you returned the smile.
"Sure!"
The boy sits down and excitedly helped you build your little town. "What's your name?" He asked while scooping up sand in the bucket. "Mine's Rantaro!"
"I'm [First name]!" You introduced yourself and pointed at his bandage on his nose. "Did you get hurt? Why do you have that?" Was it to be really cool looking? Did he get scratched?
Rantaro blinked several times before looking down at his nose. "I got hurt while doing something with my dad!" He then placed a hand over his chest and smiled confidently. "I'm strong! I can get through it!"
"Wow!" Your eyes shined. This guy is really cool! You hate injuries! They really hurt! "You're so cool, Rantaro!"
Kurogami Daina
Rain is something you usually enjoy to the fullest. The pitter-patter of the droplets landing on the ground gracefully. The calmness you get when you hear the muffled sounds of the water panging against the windows. Heck, you can even enjoy the rain up-close by strolling around!
And yet, here you are, cursing at the rain.
"Dammit, why today of all days?" You whined as you sighed. Today, you lost against a newbie in the tournament. It basically humiliated you since you were considered really strong! What pisses you off more was that the kid basically bragged how she beat a strong Blader! The nerve!
"Saw your battle, [First name]," a smooth voice says right beside you. Your head turned and saw a ravenette staring at the rain with an umbrella in hand. "Sorry about your loss."
"You can say that again," you sighed and rubbed your temples. "I don't have an umbrella since it didn't say that it would rain today. Next, I lost to a NEWBIE, and now I'm going to get wet."
"Where do you live?" The boy asked.
"Just down there," you say pointing to your left. "A few houses down to the hospital."
"Huh, that's where I live," he replied with a slightly shocked face. "Here," he says while opening up the umbrella. He sheltered you and took a step forward. "I'll drop you off at your house."
You stayed staring at him with wide eyes before smiling. "Thanks...uh..."
"Daina."
"Thanks, Daina."
Midorikawa Kensuke
"...and so, the dragon was slain and the knight was married to the princess," the narrator ended the story as the kids cheered happily. You smiled as your little brother made a gagging face.
"Big sis!" Your brother tugged on your sleeve as he got up. "I wanna meet the people who make these stories!"
"'Ight, c'mon!" You picked him up and in your arms as you walked toward backstage. You knew a little bit of the owners of this production. Your parents mentioned them a few times but you never actually came face to face with them.
However, a boy with spiky black hair with two puppets on his hands walked out and quickly noticed you. "Hello!" He greeted with the dog puppet. Your little brother awed and thought that this was magic. "Is there anything you need?"
"Well, my brother wanted to see the people behind the puppets," you laugh as your brother dug his head in your neck. "Looks like he shy," you snicker.
"Say, you look familiar," the boy said, inching a little closer. "Do we know each other?"
"My parents are friends with the owners!" You say a little bashfully. "Are you their son?"
"Yeah," he brought up his puppet and shook your hand with the nub of his puppet. "I'm Midorikawa Kensuke!"
"I'm [Last name] [First name]!"
Komurasaki Wakiya
Your family owned a flower shop. Weekdays are when your parents work, weekends are usually your time to take care of the shop. You made sure that all of the flowers were in stock and ready. Thankfully, today's Valentine's day so there's bound to be a lot of people flooding in the store. And so, you turned the sign around to show that the shop was now open for business.
Your first customer was a blonde boy with the most dazzling blue eyes you've ever seen.
"Hello! Welcome to the shop! What can I get you?"
"Listen, my Father made a special order a few weeks ago and he's asking for them today," the boy says while opening up his phone. The tone he used wasn't nice and instead a little bratty.
"Oh! I'm assuming you're the son of Mister Komursaki!"
"What's it to ya? Just give it to me."
And there it is. He's one of those customers. Your eye twitched as you found yourself developing a small hatred for this boy. You went out back and retrieved the order he wanted. As you were, you pondered how such a nice man Mr. Komurasaki was to have an offspring like that boy? Coming back out with three bouquets consisting of roses, tulips, and violets, you handed them over to the boy.
"Here you go," you smiled. "Have a nice day!"
"Tch," the boy scoffed before walking out of the store. Your once gentle smile now turned into a sour glare. Hopefully, that's the last you'll ever be seeing him.
Shirasagijo Lui
You cursed your friends for bringing you to this stupid ice rink.
You weren't the one who loved winter, but you didn't hate it either. You love that you can just drink hot choco, wear as many layers of jackets, and wrap yourself in soft, warm blankets! And yet, you hated the ice that dares to show itself on sidewalks. That's why you despise ice rinks.
You held on to the railing for dear life as your friends abandoned you to fend for yourself. Damn them.
But in the end, your fear became inevitable. You took that one small step and the next thing you knew was that you fell on your ass. A cold one, too.
"Dammit," you whimper, "ouch..."
"Hahahahaha!!!" A person who seemed to want their ass kicked later, laughed. "You completely fell! That's the funniest thing I've seen all day!"
"All right! All right!" You shouted as your head whipped around. "Shut up!" You hissed before your eyes landed on your victim. You spotted a short, light blue-haired boy clutching his stomach while snickering. "Do you wanna get your ass beat?"
"You can't even get to me without falling, I bet!"
"Shut it, Short Stack!"
Free De La Hoya
"Poor girl..." you muttered as you pet the deer's head. Free watched in worry at his long-time companion. "How long has she been like this?"
"For a while," Free explained to the vet-worker. His eyes showing immense concern toward the animal. "Is she going to be all right?"
"She'll get better, don't worry," you reassured while wrapping a cloth around its leg. "So, you're friends with her?"
Free nodded and pet the deer gently. Watching as her tiny ears flickered every now and then. "Ever since I've joined BC Sol. I've always come out to work out and see her often." You smiled softly and tightened the cloth and stood.
"Well, her wound should be better within a few days," you said and gave Free a case. "Here's what you'll need. She's going to have her cloth changed and her wound cleaned every day." Free nodded as he grasped the case and looked inside. There was already instructions to feeding her, to changing the cloth.
"Thanks for coming over, [First name]," Free thanked. "I never knew BC Sol had their own doctor."
You laugh, "I usually work with humans. But I'm just as good with animals, too, Free."
Alcacer Boa
Boa sighed and mentally slapped himself. He had gotten on the wrong bus while thinking about today's training in Snake Pit. He took the second bus instead of the third, now he has to use his phone to find the best way to the forest. He usually drains his battery the whole time in the 'Club' so using it now will suck.
However, in the corner of his eyes, he watched a pretty, young girl listening to her playlist while scrolling through her phone. Boa felt his heart accelerate before taking in deep breaths to calm himself down. She was sitting next to him too!!
There's no time for love if he wants to be the very best!!!
...is there...?
Sucking in a deep breath, Boa turned and gave the girl a wave. You look up and unplugged an earbud to smile at the boy, "Sup."
"What're you listening to?" Boa asked, trying to start up a conversation.
"[Favorite Song]," you answered. "Where are you heading to?"
"Oh, um..." Boa scrambled in his brain to find an excuse. "My...grandmother lives on a different part of town. I visit her every now and then."
"Aw, that's sweet," you compliment. "I'm [First name], what's yours?"
"Boa..."
From that day forward, Boa purposefully got on the wrong bus, just to have a chat with you. He could care less about the opinion of Alexander.
Carlisle Sisco
Sisco eyed down the librarian with shocked eyes. Not gonna lie, they look awesome as hell. And that's a lot coming from him. They had piercings on their ears and that's an automatic cool person in Sisco's book. He's been wanting to get ear piercings on himself but Christina wouldn't allow him.
He's gotta be her friend.
And the only way to do that is to check out library books.
So he grabbed a random one before waltzing on over to the counter. You turn around to smile down at the boy, "Hello! Did you find the books you wanted?" You asked as you looked down at the title. You chuckle a little.
"Uh, sure," Sisco replied with a shy tone.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes...?"
"This book is titled 'One-hundred Tips for New Dads'...are you sure you want it?"
Sisco bloomed various shades of red and took the book back. "I must've grabbed the wrong one by accident," he tried to play it off coolly. "I'll be right back.
He blew it.
Sumie Fubuki
"And!" The referee extended his arm toward the opposing volleyball team. "RoseWood High wins!" Your team cheered as you all crashed in for a group hug. The player who got the last goal was cheered for and praised as you hugged them tightly.
"Congrats! You're improving a lot!" You complimented as the entire team agreed.
"Thanks, Cap'!"
"And to all of you," you say while turning around to the whole team. "Good job today! Good teamwork, all that practice paid off! We're going to the nationals!" The team howled and cheered. You laughed as you felt a small tap on your shoulder. Turning around, you saw the captain of Beigoma's team, Fubuki. The squad dispersed to their families and cheered alongside them.
Fubuki extended his hand, "Nice game out there," he smiled. "My team was so close to winning. You got yourself some good players."
"Thanks, Fubuki," you replied with the same friendly gesture. "Your team was pretty good themselves. I mean, twenty-two to twenty-one? One more win and you could've put us in a tie."
"We try," Fubuki joked.
Akaba Aiga
Aiga.
You have no opinion.
I mean...he's loud, rude, and does rub anything he's good at to anyone. You know this because Aiga's been in your classes ever since kindergarten. Yet, the two haven't talked directly. Yes, you've been in the same group project, but never spoke to one another. Honestly, you never really paid attention toward him because you never wanted to be grouped with him.
It's annoying to deal with people like him.
However, today seemed to be the day that the teacher group the two of you in a duo-group.
"Aiga, since you've scored low on the last test, you'll be partnered up with [First name], who scored the highest."
Dammit.
"What's up?" Aiga greeted as he moved to your table. "I've seen you a few times before...who're you?"
"Aiga," you sighed and rested your cheek against your hand. "I've been in your classes ever since kindergarten." Aiga blanked out before crossing his arms. Seemingly deep in thought, Aiga gasped and slammed his hands against the table.
"No way! Really?!"
"Yep..."
"...what's your name again?"
You sighed, "...[First name]..."
Goshuin Suou
Every year, cherry blossoms bloom on the trees of Japan. A phenomenon that's awed upon by many people who live on Japan's land. And you've never missed a day to go see them. Now, you live in America so there are zero chances that you'll see them on that land but you still make time to go see them.
Like now.
You snapped many pictures of the beautiful pink trees as you explored around. Breathing in the fresh air as you looked around. Kids were picking up many sakura leaves and showing their parents or taking them themselves.
"Beautiful, isn't it?"
You almost jumped at the sound of the new voice as your head snapped over toward the source. A white-haired-teen stood there, looking up at the trees. You relaxed and laughed, "Yeah."
"I can tell you're not from around here," the boy says with a smile. He turned toward you and pointed at the camera. "Locals usually don't take pictures as if their lives depended on it." He then pointed at you. "And you have a slight American accent."
"Well, you're right," you say with a gentle grin. "I'm from America...where these trees don't grow in. But I always make time to come whenever the time of year comes."
"Sounds like you're dedicated!" The boy laughed and looked around. Well, you think he was because he has his eyes closed. "I'm Goshin Suou. What's yours?"
"[Last name] [First name]!"
Dram Koryu
"All right, [First name], we got a new worker here!" Your boss chimed as she brings in a happy-go-lucky blonde male. "Treat him nicely, okay? Teach him everything since he's gonna be working with you!" You nodded happily before she walked away. The teen stares back at you with curious and determined eyes.
"Okay! Captain! What do we do?"
"Nice energy! I like it!" You cheered before motioning him over to the cars. "Listen up...uh..."
"Koryu Dram!"
"Dram! Right," you smile before walking over to the vehicle, "we're in-charge with cleaning up the cars. If we do a good job, then we get extra!"
"What do we start with?"
"Soap!"
Dram nodded and followed you to the buckets filled with soapy water and sponges. Yes, you work in a carwash despite your young age. In fact, your own boss is your mother! She owns the place and it's surprisingly busy. She pays you at a reasonable price and just a few weeks ago, she's been needing someone else to help you.
Although, you never really got the reason why anyone would want this job. Sure, it brings in money and experience, but it's pretty boring. So you basically hope that this new person wasn't so serious or boring.
Thankfully he wasn't! Dram's such a ball of sunshine!
There's never a dull moment with him when the two of you worked together. It made your job ten times better! You actually looked forward to coming each day! Even better, you two became good friends!
Akane Delta
"[First name] will be under your wing for a while," Christina says as she gently nudges you toward the legendary Blader. You smiled shyly and waved at the tall boy as he patted your head. You couldn't believe it. You were in the same room as Aoi Valt!! The very same guy who held the title of champion for two years!
"Nice to have you on our team, [First name]!!" Valt smiled as small sparkles exploded around him. "I've heard about your Blading skills and they're amazing!"
"T-Thank you," you nervously say as Christina gave the two of you smiles before walking off.
"You know, I have someone almost like you," Valt informed. He took you by the shoulder and walked you to the training area where a bright blonde was talking non-stop toward a bored Blader. "Delta!" Valt called out and waved the boy over. "I want you to meet someone!"
Delta walked by the happy blonde without saying goodbye. He stopped right in front of Valt and didn't even seem to have noticed you at all. "Who?"
Valt patted your shoulder, bringing Delta attention to you (finally). "Meet [First name]! She's from [Country]! And I heard she's a really good Blader." Valt then patted Delta's shoulder. "And [First name]. This is Akane Delta." He sent you two smiles before waltzing off to help another.
There was a long moment of silence. Delta's eyes scanned over your frail body, making you feel increasingly uncomfortable. "Hi?" You waved with a confused look on your face. Jeez, Delta doesn't seem like the type to be friendly.
"I wanna see," you sent him a confused look. Delta then cleared it up. "I wanna see you in battle. Now."
"O...Okay."
