The groups have now entered the maze. For now we will be looking at Ekusu and Bird. While they walked, they noticed that there was nothing particularly scary. The place was dark with the exception of a few old lamps. They were probably part of a way to make it look spookier. There was even smoke that probably came from a smoke machine.

The cold weather wasn't helping though. Bird had starting to shiver. Ekusu took of his coat and put it around Bird. He thanked him which received a small blush from Ekusu.

Bird didn't know this but Ekusu has had a crush on him for as long as they had known each other. He was afraid of telling him though. What if he wasn't into guys? he still loved him. He wouldn't have let anything happen to him.

But it probably wasn't the time to confess his feelings for him. Maybe one day...

They continued waking until Bird accidentally stepped on something. They both looked down to see a trip wire. They both stared at it in pure confusion.

"That's the best they got?"

Ekusu asked.

suddenly, a jumpscare came up.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!"

They starting running away in the opposite direction. Both of them running until they were out of breath.

They probably ran for about 10 minutes straight.

"What......was.....that?!" Bird finally asked

"I don't know, but that was pretty terrifying" Ekusu replied..

At that moment, they both started laughing and agreed to keep on high alert Incase something like that happened again..

Bird, for some reason, started shaking even more..

"Hey, Are you okay, Bird?"

Ekusu asked in concern..

"Are you still cold?"

"No it's not that, it's just that...that thing from before... didn't you hear it?"

Ekusu looked at Bird in confusion..

"What do you mean?"

Bird looked down at his feet. He didn't think it was a good idea to tell him the truth. That thing from before...it had been whispering his name. He could vaguely remembered it. It was a yurei that he remembered trick-or-treating last year. He hadn't even bother learning the name of it. What he did know was that, when he was trick or treating, that showed up and traumatised him for the night. He escaped it, but that didn't help with the nightmares.

"Bird...Bird?" 

Ekusu was waving his hand over his face. 

He snapped out of his thoughts and looked up at Ekusu."What did you hear?" 

He accidentally took a step backwards. His foot suddenly stepped on something. He looks back and to see another of those trip wires

"Oh no...."Was all he said as they both fell through a trap door. 

They go on what seems like a giant, gray slide. They slide down in what seemed like an unbelievable speed. Through loops, and some little cliffs they eventually got separated.

Ekusu eventually ended at the bottom. It was covered in dust and cobwebs. He could tell if it was part of the maze or part of something that had been abandoned. 

He got up and started dusting himself. He started calling Bird in panic. 

"BIRD! BIRD, WHERE ARE YOU!? ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!"There was no response. His mind started spinning.His worrying side started to take over... 

"Hehe"

Someone had started laughing.....it wasn't him...and that wasn't Bird's laugh......it was WAY too deep...

"Who's there! Show yourself!"

Someone, or something, in a red cloak showed it's self from the shadows. It's face wasn't visible but he could tell that it was shorter than Ekusu even from their distance. He could see some black hair peeking out of the hood.

"Who are you?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

Ekusu started getting annoyed. Who does this guy think he is? But he would be lying if he said he wasn't worried.

"Well if you're so interested, I told you we would meet soon.."

Ekusu's eyes widened and his face paled. This was the guy who had texted him. He didn't seem much of a threat. But at the same time, you should never underestimate your opponent. That's one thing you learn from battling.

"What do you want?"

"Is that a way to treat a fan of yours."

"If they are the type to stalk me to find my number than yes."

"Touche"

"I'll ask you again...what. do. you. want"

The figure said nothing as he stood there. He looked up. The ceiling or the ground? He couldn't even tell what it was anymore.

"Your boyfriend is probably at the top by now..."

Ekusu blushed...

"He's not my boyfriend.."

"Oh so he's single. That's some good news."

Ekusu could sense that he was smirking... That was starting to make him angry..

"You're not getting anywhere close to him."

"We'll see about that."

He walked towards the wall behind him and pulls away some leaves and vines to reveal a lever. He turned back towards Ekusu.

"Well, Well what a shame. It looks like our time is up"

"What.! You can't just do that.!"

"Watch me.."

He pulled on the lever. As he did a trap door opened under Ekusu. Before he slid down another slide, the figure said a few last words.

"Until we meet again...Ekusu kurosu. And I suggest you don't get in the way of my work."

By that time Ekusu was sliding towards the top. A trap door opened outward and he was catapulted out. As he landed on the ground he heard a ...

"GET THE HECK OUTTA ME!!!"

He looked down to see he had landed on someone with golden hair. He turned around to see who was on him.

"The hell, kurosu?!? Get off of me!!"

"Chrome!?"

He got off and fully examined him.

"What are you doing here?"

"Can I not go anywhere that doesn't involve me beyblading or what."

"No..I mean yeah..but it's strange to not see you training."

Chrome just stared at him with a "really?" look.

"Oh nevermind. wait, have you seen Bird?"

"What do you mean he's right..."

He turns around to find it was the two of them..

"Wth!! He was just here!"

Ekusu just gave him a confused look...

"Ahh you know what I give up! I'm leaving, goodbye!"

Since Ekusu didn't have anything to do and Bird was nowhere to be seen. He might as well join Chrome to see if he could find him. As they walked Ekusu noticed Chrome was wearing a jiangshi costume. He was about to ask why but...

"Don't judge my jiangshi costume!" chrome bleared.

He didn't and the rest of their walk is silence...
