~3 months before Masamune joined Dungeon gym~

"Come on Toby and Zeo, Pearl and I wanna have a team battle against you." A younger version of myself said excitedly. "Alright. Let's go tell Coach Steel that we're gonna practice." One of the 2 boys said. "Yay!" I said with Pearl excitedly.

~After Masamune joined~

"Hey guys." A younger version of Toby said. "What's up Toby?" I said. "Yeah, what's up?" A younger version of Zeo and Masamune said. "Is something wrong?" A younger version of Pearl asked. "Well, when we're older, let's all strive to be the number 1 bladers." He said smiling. "Yeah! Let's do it." Zeo said excitedly. "Alright. It'll be Team dungeon for the win when we're older." Masamune said holding his index finger to the sky. "What're you doing Masamune?" I asked. "This will be our symbol for our promise." He said. "Alright." Pearl and I said before copying him. Zeo and Toby joined in too. After we did that, we were all laughing.

~The week before Toby got sick~

"What's taking Masamune so long?" Zeo asked. "He's probably buying food for our party later today. Either that or he's eating burgers and totally spaced out on the party to celebrate our win." I said sighing. "Hey guys! Sorry I'm late, I slept in and had to buy all the food I promised I'd bring." Masamune said from behind us. "It's alright. We were waiting for ya to show up." Toby said smiling. "Alright, now that we're all here, Pearl and I are gonna sing a song that we like." I said pulling out my guitar. After I did that, I started to sing softly. Pearl joined in after me and we sang the song together. (Song at top ^). After we sang, the boys started clapping. We smiled and took a bow. When it was starting to get late, we decided to start our party. We ate a lot of food, played games, and even had a battle against one another. It was so much fun. We also danced and just looked at the stars. We didn't want the party to end, but at 10 o clock, we all decided to go back to our houses. Before we did, we made a promise that we'd all be friends until the end.

~The day Toby got sick~

Pearl and I were running to the hospital. We had gotten a call from Zeo and Masamune saying that Toby fell. After getting to the hospital, we rushed towards our 2 friends who were waiting for us in the waiting room. "How is he?" I asked frantically. "The doctor said that he's sick and he'll have to stay here for a couple of years." Zeo said. "Is he gonna get better?" Pearl asked looking upset. "Hopefully he does. Who knows what the future holds." Masamune said. "We heard that you guys were scouted by Team Excalibur Kaylie. Is that true?" Zeo asked. "Yeah. It is. Maybe we'll find medicine or something while we're there." I said smiling. "Maybe." Zeo said. We all sat down and waited for the doctor to come back. While we were waiting, I was thinking about what happened to Toby. The doctor came in a few minutes later and Zeo and I instantly stood up. "How is he? Can we go see him?" I asked. "I'm afraid not, because he's resting up right now. He just needs some medicine and lots of rest. It was a good thing your friends brought him in here, otherwise he wouldn't be able to get better." The doctor said smiling. "Ok. Do you know when we can see him?" Zeo asked. "I'm afraid not. Maybe someday soon." He said. "Can we see him please?! I've been worried sick after hearing about what happened! I just wanna see if he's ok." Pearl said on the verge of tears. "He'll be fine Pearl. He just needs medicine and rest. I promise you that nothing will happen to him." Masamune said smiling. "Ok. If you insist." She said relaxing. After that, we all left the hospital and Pearl and I began packing for our trip to the United Kingdom to join our new team.

~A few years later~

It was the day of the flight to the UK. Masamune had just seen the final battle of the battle bladers tournament and was going to Japan to join Gingka Hagane's team Gan Gan Galaxy. His flight was after ours, so we had some time to say goodbye to everyone in Team Dungeon, but we told Coach Steel we'd be back soon. After we said goodbye to everyone, we decided to stop at the hospital to visit Toby. When we got there, we signed in with the person at the front desk and told them we were visiting Toby before our flights to the UK and Japan. The person smiled at us and asked someone to take us to where Toby was. When we got there, the person knocked on the door and then let us go in. We walked in and went up to our friend who was looking at us and smiling. "Hey Toby. How're you doing?" I asked. "Same as always. So, today's the day you guys take off for your new teams?" He asked. "Yeah. We'll all come back one day and see who's number one in our group." I said smiling. We soon said goodbye, but not before Pearl promised him that her and I would send medicine to help him out. We walked to the airport and waited for mine and Pearl's plane to arrive. A few minutes later, mine and Pearl's plane arrived and we soon said goodbye to Masamune, but not before promising him that we'd see him soon. Pearl and I soon boarded our plane and later, we took off to the United Kingdom to join our new team. When we got there, a girl with wavy blue hair and a guy with brown hair were in the waiting area and were waiting for Pearl and I. We walked over to the two and we were soon walking out to a limo that was in front of the airport. "We hope you two have fun while you're a part of Team Excalibur." The girl said smiling. "Thanks. What are the names of everyone else on the team anyway?" I asked. "I'm Sophie, that's Wales, the team's captain is named Julian, and then there's Klaus and now you two." The girl said. "Yup. And you two are sharing a room with Sophie by the way." The guy, Wales, said. "Alright." I said smiling and looking out the window with Pearl. "What are your beys called anyway?" Sophie asked. "I have Diamond Alicorn. Pearl has Poison Hyrus X." I said. "Cool." Wales said. Soon, we arrived at the place where we were going to be staying. Pearl and I grabbed our bags from the back of the car and followed Sophie and Wales to a room where a piano was standing. On the piano's seat was a blonde guy wearing a red suit. Wales cleared his throat, which directed the blonde's attention to us. "Are these two the ones who are joining our team Sophie?" He asked with a smirk. Sophie nodded, "They sure are. Julian, meet Kaylie and Pearl from America." "Nice to meet you two. I hope you are prepared for the battles that we'll be having." He said. We both nodded and smiled. "Alright then. Sophie, can you please take them to your room?" He asked. She nodded and told us to follow her. We all walked up the stairs and down the hall and soon arrived in front of a door that was painted light blue. "This is our room. There are three beds inside for each of us." She said opening the door. We walked in and set our bags down next to our beds. "As you can see, there's a bay window for you guys to look out of if you want." Sophie said. "Thanks Sophie." We said earning a smile from her. Later, we joined the team for dinner and some late night training. At dinner, Pearl and I got to meet Klaus. After dinner, we all walked down to the beach to train. Pearl and I were paired up with Sophie and Wales. "We're going to teach you two how to use a joint special move." Sophie said smiling. "Watch this." Wales said. They both launched their beys and called a joint special move, Grand Deucalion and had it aimed towards the ocean. "Now you guys try it." Sophie said. We nodded and launched our beys. "Joint special move! Poison Diamond Storm!" We said. The special move landed on a part of the sandy beach. "Good job you two." Klaus said smiling. "Thanks." We said. After training, we went back to the house and us girls changed into pajamas. "Oh right. Quick question for you Sophie, where can we find medicine around here?" I asked. "What for?" She asked. "A friend of ours in America needs it, because he's been in the hospital for a few years now ever since he collapsed one day." Pearl said sadly. "Really? Well, I'll take you guys tomorrow if you want." She said smiling. "Thanks Sophie. Night." I said smiling. "Goodnight." She said. We soon fell asleep. The next day, us girls walked around the town looking for some medicine to send to Toby. I spotted a pharmacy and we walked inside it and looked around for what we needed. After finding what we needed, we went back to the house and put the medicine in our room and joined the guys in the living room. "Hey guys. How was the shopping?" Wales asked. "It went well. We found what we needed." I said smiling. "That's good. They're about to announce who we're going up against in the tournament." Julian said. "Really? Cool." I said paying attention to the TV. "Hey all you bladers, I think it's about time to announce who is going to be facing Team Excalibur in the UK, don't you think? So, the team facing them is, Gan Gan Galaxy!" Hanami said smiling. "Yes! We're going up against Masamune and his new team!" Pearl and I said squealing. "What's up?" Julian asked. "One of our friends is a part of Gan Gan Galaxy." I said smiling. "Oh ok." He said. "I have an idea, how about you two wear cloaks whenever we have a battle and then reveal your identities sometime during the matches?" Sophie said. "I like that idea." I said smiling. "Me too." Pearl said. "Then it's decided. Anyway, let's go train for the match." Julian said. We all nodded and followed him outside. Our new team is like a family to us, but there's also some members of our other family halfway across the world in America, which I'm hoping we get to see again.
