Team Rage were preparing themselves to head to the final tournament of the World Championships. Erica cleaned off Lucifer, while tying her hair into a ponytail. Karma was in the mirror, brushing her hair, and trying to calm her nerves. Azure slowly pulled the cord of his launcher, then pulling on his jacket on. Finally Ryu was tying the laces of his sneakers, and pulling his gloves on.

Karma: '-_- Battle Bladers was one thing, but being in front of the world is a WHOLE new level of unnerving.'

Karma noticed Ryu tapping his foot on the ground after sitting down.

Karma: 'EVEN RYU IS NERVOUS!!! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT WAS AN EMOTION HE COULD FEEL!!!'

Fenrir: 'Karma, be calm. Once you actually battle, everything will just feel like normal again.'

Karma let out a breath hearing this.

Karma: 'You know what Fenrir? You're right. I've gone through plenty of things that most people wouldn't want to continue Bey battling after. This is nothing!'

Ryu: Erica, Karma.

Both girls quickly turned their heads to the team leader.

Ryu: Remember, we agreed on you two taking the first battles depending on which teams we fight.

Karma: O-Oh... Right.

Azure: You know if you two feel nervous, you can just say it. We all do.

Erica: Yeah?! Well you do a pretty good job at hiding it Doctor Stoic!!

Azure: It's what I'm best at.

Ryu: Well try thinking of it from this perspective. There are so many battles to go into, that we shouldn't waste time being scared when we can think of ways to win.

He grabbed Dracian, seeing the Bey shine.

Ryu: When I'm thinking of that, I don't have the time to be nervous.

Karma: '... *Sigh* Why does he have to be so OVERLY cool sometimes?!'

Once hearing a honking horn outside, all of them them got up and out of the hotel. A limousine was there with the WBBA logo on it.

Ryu: Let's go.

He walked in, as the rest followed quickly. Once all four teens were in, the limo drove off.

TIME SKIP!!

The limousine stopped in front of an arena, with Team Rage walking out. They saw other limousines as well, realizing there were other teams already there. They walked into the arena, seeing a large stage, with the teams there were Shadow Strike, Garcia, Wang Hu Zhong, and Star Breaker.

Ryu: Looks like they notified people separately.

The teens got onto the stage, as now they waited for the rest of the teams. Slowly but surely, the others Bladers arrived, along with spectators. Karma started to shake slightly, but a hand placed on her shoulder by Ryu somewhat eased her nerves. The Blader DJ's of America and Japan were both announcing together.

Fang: -_- I refuse to take precious time explaining that bore of a battle in this story.

ADJ: ALRIGHTY BLADERS, THE BIG DAY HAS ARRIVED AT LAST!!!!

JDJ: THESE EIGHT BLADER TEAMS HAVE FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO ARRIVE AT THIS POINT!!!! THE BEYBLADE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS FINAL TOURNAMENT!!!!

Ryu: 'I really have to wonder what order this will be in.'

JDJ: TODAY WE REVEAL THE RANDOMLY CHOSEN MATCHUPS, AND HAVE THE FIRST TEAM BATTLE!!!! AND HERE IT IS!!!!

On a large screen, the emblems of the teams were shown, as it was revealed who would face who.

Gingka: What?!

Tsubasa: I don't believe it!!

Karma: Is this for real?!

Kyoya: It's gotta be a joke!

Ryu: 'This has Ziggurat written all over it.'

Excalibur vs Star Breaker
GanGan Galaxy vs Whang Hu Zhong
Shadow Strike vs Wild Fang

Azure: There's no way that's a coincidence.

Erica: We're going first, and we have to possibility of going up against both American Teams? No chance.

Ryu: I actually like it this way. The orders been settled girls. Crush the Garcia's fast alright?

Karma: Alright!

ADJ: NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE FIRST MATCH TO BEGIN!!!! TEAM RAGE VS TEAM GARCIA!!!!

TIME SKIP!!

Karma was battling against Ian, as she had put Fenrir on Attack Mode. The battle was coming to an end, as blue flames radiated around Karma.

Karma: IT'S OVER IAN!! SPECIAL MOVE!!! LUNAR FLAME BURST!!!!

Fenrir after leaping into the air crashed into Cyclone Herculeo, knocking the Bey out of the stadium.

JDJ: AND IT'S DONE!!! HERCULEO STADIUM OUT!!!

ADJ: KARMA HAS BROUGHT TEAM RAGE A COMMANDING LEAD!!!!

Karma caught Fenrir, letting out a breath of relief while the crowd cheered.

Karma: 'Okay, that wasn't as bad as I thought!'

She walked away, back into the team room.

Karma: I did my part Erica, don't take long!

Erica: It's fine. I'm pretty confident Argo won't be a challenge.

Erica got up before winking.

Erica: Wish me luck.

She walked out into the open.

JDJ: Up next for Team Rage, is none other than their fierce Blader, Erica Zenith!! Although she may have a calm demeanor, her Doom Lucifer's barrage attacks have the tenacity of a wild monster!!

ADJ: However her opponent Argo also specializes in relentless pursuit!! We can only imagine who's tenacity will bring them victory!! BLADERS ARE YOU READY?!!!

Argo and Erica got ready to launch.

Crowd: 3!!

Erica: 'Like tenacity could save him from me.'

Erica glowed, as Argo saw, somewhat nervous.

Crowd: 2!!

Argo: 'I must win, or our dreams will be lost forever!'

All: 1!!

Erica: 'This battle is mine.'

Erica&Argo: LET IT RIP!!!!

The pair launched their beys, as with Argo's split second hesitation, Erica saw an opening.

Erica: GO NOW LUCIFER!!!!

Lucifer revealed it's three extra blades, and sped towards Ray Gil, and then began to attack nonstop.

Argo: GIL!!!

JDJ: OHHHHH, AND RIGHT FROM THE START, ERICA HOLDS NOTHING BACK AND GOES STRAIGHT INTO BARRAGE MODE IN ORDER TO GO ON THE OFFENSIVE!!!!

ADJ: LUCIFER'S ATTACKS ARE ALMOST LIKE LIGHTNING STRIKES, THEY'RE IMPOSSIBLE FOR RAY GIL TO ESCAPE!!!!

Argo was in disbelief seeing this.

Erica: You wanna know why the battle started out like this? It's because you were probably thinking that you had to avoid losing.

Argo: H-How could you possibly know that?!

Erica: It was written all over your face. Let me tell you the difference between our tenacity.

The glow around Erica only grew.

Erica: I don't attack to avoid losing! My mind is always on winning in a Bey Battle!!

Lucifer crashed into Ray Gil once more, sending it into the side of the Stadium. Team Rage watched with smiles.

Karma: Take it too him girl!!!

Ryu: Usually I wouldn't like admitting it, but she really can scare me sometimes.

Azure: '... I think part of me finds this attractive.'

Erica: Sorry to end this so soon, but we've got a tournament to win!

Lucifer flung Ray Gil into the air.

Argo: GIL!!!

As Gil dived back down, Lucifer left it's barrage mode, moving to where the other Bey would drop. As it did, the bey's clashed one last time, with a shockwave occurring, as Gil landed right next to Argo.

Argo: Th-This can't be...

ADJ: IT'S OVER!!!! FASTER THAN ANY OTHER BATTLE IN THE TOURNAMENT, ERICA HAS DEFEATED ARGO TO MOVE TEAM RAGE UP TO THE SEMI FINALS!!!!

The crowd cheered, as Erica grabbed Lucifer, sighing.

Erica: Thanks partner.

Lucifer glowed in response to this.

Ryu: And we didn't even have to show our hand Azure.

Azure: Yeah. Let's just watch the rest of todays matches.

TIME SKIP!!

Ryu: ... Yeah kinda glad that this one happened offscreen.

Damian had just finished thoroughly crushing not only Julian, but Whales and Sophie alongside him.

Karma: You're telling me these are the guys we'll have to go up against next?!

Azure: It's fine. Ryu and I will take the matches tomorrow.

Erica: Do both of you have to? I could probably take on that Jack guy.

Ryu: Sorry Erica, but this is pretty personal now.

Damian: You're weak.

Julian seemed as if he was simply a mess, as Ryu glared.

Damian: Now that you understand that, admit it.

Julian: ... Admit it?

Damian: That's right. Say it loud and clear, YOU ARE WEAK!

Julian: I... I am...

Damian: You are, WHAT?

Ryu: There are a few things that push me close to the edge. Tormenting your opponent is one.

Damian began to laugh hearing this, as alongside Wales and Sophie, Julian dropped to his knees.

Erica: What a sick jerk!

Upon hearing this, Ryu leaped out of the stands, walking forward.

ADJ: What is this?!

JDJ: Ryu has left the stands and has started walking towards the battle!!

Sophie: R-Ryu?

Ryu: I told you before to hope that we don't go up against each other.

Ryu stopped while he was behind the defeated team.

Ryu: I don't understand how you can actually feel happy with yourself after a battle like this!

Damian: I don't get what you mean. A battle like this is the only way it can be fun!

Ryu: I mean how you lord your pathetic excuse for strength against others!!

Damian: Pathetic? Did you watch the entire battle?

Ryu: Yeah, and I also know how you got it!

Ryu pointed at Damian with a red and gold aura around him.

Ryu: I promise I'll crush you in the next battle!! I'll never lose to a Blader like you!!

JDJ: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!! RYU KAIZEN HAS JUST PROMISED A VICTORY AGAINST DAMIAN IN THE NEXT BATTLE!!!

Damian: We'll see about that!

Damian turned around, walking away. Ryu turned around as well, with the audience simply stunned.

ADJ: Ahem... Well now that we have THAT business sorted, LET'S MOVE ON TO THE NEXT MATCH!!!

Ryu leapt back into his seat.

Ryu: Sorry girls, but he had it coming.

Erica: ... I guess one of us has to back down for the next battle?

Karma: Yeah.....

Erica&Karma: ONE TWO THREE-

Azure: I'm in.

Both teens nearly fell over hearing this.

Stallion: Good call.

Azure: Yeah we're not about to have a debate about this. Zeo or that Jack guy won't be nearly strong enough for me to put in everything.

The next two teams came up, as now it would be Team Gan Gan Galaxy against Whang Huh Zhong.

And much to everyone's surprise, Yu was the one going up first.

Karma: Yu is gonna battle?!

Yu smiled excitedly, as the crowd cheered.

JDJ: From Gan Gan Galaxy, the first Blader to battle will actually be none other than Yu!!

ADJ: And going up against him will be none other than Chiyun!!

Chiyun walked onto the stage.

Erica: Hmm... Honestly, this isn't looking good for the little guy. Chiyun will be a tough opponent for him to overcome.

Azure: Don't underestimate Yu. He can possibly pull something off.

Ryu: Especially with what Kira had up her sleeve.

Chiyun: For the victory of Whang Hu Zhong, I Chiyun will definitely defeat you!!

Chiyun held up Lacerta, ready to battle.

Yu: I don't think so!

Yu brought out Libra, but everyone noticed there was something different about the Bey.

Yu: Burn Libra and I are gonna make this a quick and easy victory!!

Erica: Wait, burn Libra?!!

Karma: His Bey has been upgraded!

ADJ: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!!! YU IS BATTLING WITH A WHOLE NEW LIBRA TODAY!!!

Chiyun: Burn Libra you say?!

Ryu hardly seemed surprised, only smiling.

Ryu: I knew it. Only Kira could figure something out for those two that quickly.

Karma: WIN THIS ONE YU!!!

In the crowd, Kira was ready to view the battle, taking a bite of a cookie.

Kira: And now I get to see the result of my work. I'll take notes, but the outcome will end up the same.

She took out a laptop, smiling.

Kira: Go on Yu. Show the world your reborn strength.

JDJ: Just what will we see from this new Libra?!! THAT QUESTION IS ABOUT TO BE ANSWERED HERE AND NOW!!!

Both Bladers prepared to launch their beys.

Azure: This will be interesting at the very least.

Ryu: Oh yeah.
