Kasumi: Pegasus disappeared you say?

Gingka Ryu and Azure were explaining what happened in the battle to the two adults.

Gingka: Yeah. She spoke to me before her Spirit flew away only leaving a feather.

Gingka showed the pure white feather of Pegasus.

Azure: It's all my fault. Pegasus used every last bit of it's strength to defeat Stallion and I.

Ryo: Don't beat yourself up about it.

Ryu: Yeah, you at least made the right choice.

Azure: Still, I can't help but feel guilty.

Kasumi placed her hands on Azure with him looking up.

Kasumi: Azure, it's just good your back on track. Your fathers been worried sick about you.

Azure: I can only imagine but...

Ryu: Dude what?

Azure: There no way I can face him after what I did. I just can't.

Ryu deadpanned before chopping Azure in the side.

Azure: Ow!!

Ryu: Give your head a shake! What good does taking the better path do if you're just gonna stop? No matter what you've gotta face him like a man!

Gingka: Yeah. Your dad being worried means he still loves you more than anything. Don't make him worry anymore than he already has.

Azure: I... Alright.

Ryu: After Battle Bladers then?

???: There's no need.

Azure slightly jumped hearing that voice. Then he turned around and saw his father smiling alive and well.

Azure: D-Dad?

Simon: It's good to see your doing well my son.

Azure held back tears seeing him.

Azure: Dad... I'm so sorry...

The old man walked up to his son hugging him.

Simon: I'm only glad your ok Azure. You don't have to apologize. I was simply worried that the Dark Power would corrupt you just like it did that Ryuga with L-Drago. But it seems I should've had more faith in you. You are your mothers son after all.

Azure hugged him big letting tears flow freely down his face as he smiled.

Azure: I'll never do something so stupid again...

They all smiled seeing the father and son reunite. They broke apart as Simon patted his son's shoulders.

Simon: Come now, making bad choices is part of becoming a man. I should know, I've made plenty. Two were putting the Shadow and Phoenix thing into Kasumi's and Ryo's minds.

Ryu: THAT WAS YOU DR?!!

Simon: Ah Ryu! It seems you've mastered Dracian quite well just as your father wanted.

Ryu: I mean it's good to see you dock but, HOW?!! I saw you die!!

Simon: What you didn't see however was that I had survived and your father had come in at the last second saving me.

Ryo: Sol always did take things to the extreme.

Simon: Yes, that's certainly the right way to describe it.

Ryu: Welp, this was all well and good but I think I need a minute just to deal with getting my best friend back, realizing HIS dads back, and also the final battle all being today.

Ryu walked out with his head absolutely steaming.

Dracian: Well Ryu's brain was overloaded.

???: Ryu?

He looked down and saw Gin wagging his tail before smiling.

Ryu: Hey boy.

He patted Gin on the head before realizing something.

Ryu: Hold on weren't you with Karma?

Karma: He still is.

He saw Karma with a smile on her face.

Ryu: I stand corrected.

Karma: So, that battle to become number one is just in a little huh?

Ryu: Yup. But I guess it's only for Japan.

Karma: Still, being the Number One Blader in the Country isn't anything to sneeze at.

Ryu: I know but still. There are other really strong Bladers out there that we still don't know about. Even now I know some Bladers across the world that have a good chance of beating both me AND Azure.

Karma: Wait both of you?!!

Fenrir: For you to openly admit that...

Gin: Those must be really strong Bladers.

Ryu: Yup. Until I can meet them again I have to become stronger and stronger.

Karma: Well, make sure not to forget I'm gonna be one of those Bladers got it? Next time Fenrir and I will win it for sure!

Ryu: I'm looking forward to it. But right now I need to focus on the battle right ahead of me. This'll be mine and Azure's greatest battle yet.

Karma: Well then, all I can do is wish you luck and cheer both of you on.

Ryu: I'd like that. I'd really like that.

They both heard music starting Ryu realizing that was his and Azure's cue.

Ryu: Welp, I'm off.

He turned and started going the other way.

Karma: Hold Ryu!

He stopped and turned. That's when she kissed him on the cheek. Dracian could have swore she saw Ryu go a bit pink.

Karma: Give it your all!

That's all she said before going the other way with Gin. Ryu stood there blushing before smiling and running to the Stadium.

Dracian: Well that was some motivation for you.

Ryu: Zip it!

He got outside seeing everyone was in the stands and Azure was walking to his end of the Stadium. Ryu walked up looking at the Stadium as well with a hand in his chin.

DJ: ALRIGHT EVERYBODY!! THIS IS THE BATTLE BLADERS FINAL BATTLE!!! IT'S BEEN A LONG ROAD BUT HERE WE ARE WITH THE TWO TITANS OF BLADERS THAT WON UP TO THIS POINT!!! HERE WE HAVE THE WILD DRAGON BLADER: RYU KAIZEN!!! AND THE USER IF THE DARK STEED: AZURE KAITO!!!!

Everyone cheered as hard as they could with Ryu looking up to Azure.

Azure: Ryu, you thinking what I am?

Ryu: Yup. YO DJ!!

DJ: Huh?

Ryu: Let's do this one without a Stadium. It's be boring for just a Stadium out to happen. And this way both of us can use our full power without restraint.

DJ: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! Ryu just requested to not even use the Stadium!

Kyoya: Oh that guy.

Gingka: I don't think it's only him though.

Azure: I'm asking for the same thing too. A final battle needs to be fought with everything. The Stadium with just limit our options.

Hyoma: As to be expected. Both of them don't want any excuses for loosing this one.

DJ: AZURE TOO?! Well if both Bladers want a battle they can use everything in, THEN I SEE NO REASON TO NOT ACCEPT THE REQUEST!! EVERYBODY READY?!!

The two attached their Bey's with Ryu getting in his unorthodox stance. They both had their Aura's flaring around them with their eyes glowing.

All: 3!!! 2!!! 1!!!

Ryu&Azure: LET IT RIP!!!!!

They both launched with all their might. The Bey's clashed with and explosion bigger than all the ones from prior battles.

Ryu: GOOOO DRACIAN!!!!

Azure: STAND STRONG STALLION!!!

The Bey's clashed with sparks flying they pulled apart with Stallion taking it's defensive stance.

Azure: Stallion defense is like an steel fortress! Just try and pierce it!

Ryu: A Steel Fortress? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!

Dracian rushed forward to Stallion.

Ryu: SURGE THUNDER!!

Sparks swirled around Dracian before she glowed red surprising everyone.

Kenta: Woah right off the bat?!

Azure: Ha! Your still way to predictable Ryu! VENOM WALL!!!

Stallion's Fusion Wheel glowed a purplish blue. When Dracian clashed with Stallion again it was flung back with first of wind that even made Ryu stumble back.

Ryu: WOAH!!

Stallion: You call that an attack? It felt more like a feather.

Dracian: Cocky prick!

Azure: It'll take much more than Surge Thunder to Pierce through this wall!

Madoka: Check this out. Stallion is using it's weight and and stability to have a constant amount of sparks generate under it. Then it absorbs the sparks created singing it a wall of defense!

Tsubasa: If that's the case then the move is just like Surge Thunder!

Yu: One is for attacking and the other is for defending!

Hikaru: Those two Bey's really are alike!

Kenta: They were made from the same star, but it's not just the Bey's!

Benkei: Yeah! Ryu and Azure are alike too! Sure the differences shine through but still!

Karma: It all depends on who wants to win more.

Ryu: Alright then if that isn't enough, DRACIAN!!

It gained speed preforming Surge Thunder once again but shifting into Full Attack Mode.

Ryu: LET'S TRY THIS!!

Dracian attacked Stallion before making away again.

Ryu: DO IT DRACIAN!!

Dracian went in again attacking and going up with an explosion happening each hit.

Azure: What?!!

It repeated this in rapid succession and even gaining speed shocking everyone.

DJ: WHAT ARE THOSE MOVEMENTS?!! DRACIAN IS GOING AT STALLION WITH A RELENTLESS BARRAGE!!!

Madoka looked at Dracian seeing what was going on.

Madoka: Now I get it!

Gingka: What's up?

Madoka: Dracian is tilting every attack to gain momentum.

Yu: I get it! That way every attack it has more power, and with Dracian going in with so many attacks-

Ryu: BREAK THROUGH THAT UNBREAKABLE WALL!!!

With one last hit Stallion actually was moved.

Azure: Oh no, STALLION!!

Ryu: Stallion might be a Steel Fortress, but Dracian is an Overwhelming Battering Ram that can burst through any way there is!!

Azure: Well the real fight starts now!!

Ryu: I couldn't agree more! Dracian: DARK SURGE JAWS!!!!

Azure: Dark Move: KING OF CALAMITY: RAGING STRIKE!!!!

Dracian and Stallion began to clash again with explosions happening. Neither of them were willing to back down as they both had smiles of their faces like old times. The adults watched this higher up in the stands with Kasumi shedding a tear of happiness.

Kasumi: I can't believe it.

Simon: Our boys can finally battle like they used to. Like true Rivals AND Beat Friends.

Hikaru: These attacks are vicious!

Madoka: I know! Each of their Special Moves are more powerful than any others they had used before!

Dracian began to spin around fast with Stallion to towards it.

Azure: NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!

It stopped Dracian in it's tracks before it could leap into the air.

Azure: Your not gonna get the momentum for that Special move on my watch!!

Ryu gritted his teeth before a thought came into mind.

Ryu: I got it!! SPIN HARDER DRACIAN!!

Dracian pushed away Stallion and began to spin faster. Soon enough winds came up from her as a Tornado appeared.

Ryu: Let me show you a move I figured out from one of the Rivals I had met on my journey Azure!!

Up in the stands Kyoya grinned.

Kyoya: Ha, I think I'm actually flattered for him to be using me as inspiration.

Karma: That wind is just like-

Benkei: YEAH THE LION GALE FORCE WALL!!!

Ryu: NOW CLIMB THE WIND DRACIAN!!

Dracian began to climb to Tornado surprising everyone.

Madoka: That's genius!

Gingka: Climbing the Tornado for a boost!

Dracian: COME ON RYU!! DO IT!!!

Ryu: HERE WE COME AZURE!!!

Ryu's aura flared up but the golden light returned in it.

Stallion: LET'S GO AZURE!!!

Azure: BRING IT ON!!!

Azure's aura flared up as well with Stallion spinning around jumping into the air.

Ryu: SPECIAL MOVE: DRAGON KING: WRATHFUL CRUSH!!!

Azure: DARK MOVE: KING OF CALAMITY: VENOMOUS WING!!!

The Dragon and Winged Horse Spirits raced to each other and so did the Spirits of Ryu and Azure. When the Bey's clashed there was an explosion that shook the whole stage with dust being around.

DJ: THAT BLAST MUST HAVE SHOOK THE ENTIRE PLACE!! WHAT, OF THE BEYS?!!!

The smoke began to clear as it revealed both Bladers on a single knee panting. The rest of the dust cleared to reveal that Dracian was barely spinning and Stallion was spinning as well but soon stopped.

DJ: I-IT'S OVER!!! THE WINNER OF BATTLE BLADERS AND THE NOW NUMBER ONE BLADER IN THE COUNTRY IS NONE OTHER THAN THE ONE TO START IT ALL!!!!! GIVE IT UP FOR RYU KAIZEN!!!

Ryu was a bit shocked actually hearing those words.

Ryu: I... I did it?

Azure: Heh, congrats Ryu. Though next time I won't go down. But today you won.

Ryu smiled as the two walked over to each other and fist jumped.

Azure: You're Number One.

Unable to contain his joy anymore he jumped up high.

Ryu: ALRIGHT!!!!

Everyone cheered as the others ran to them.

Gingka: RYU YOU DID IT!!!

Karma: YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!

They crowded around the two happily.

Yu: YOU TWO JUST ALWAYS GET COOLER!!

Kenta: That last move was brilliant Ryu!!!

Kyoya: Only you could come up with such a crazy move.

Tsubasa: And only he could make it work.

Hikaru: Lighten up guys, we should be happy!

Benkei: Oh they are!!

Gin bounced out of Karma's arms and into Ryu's licking his nose.

Ryu: AHAHA!! DOWN BOY!! COME ON GIN!!

Karma: Looks like you kept that promise.

Ryu: Of course! Number One Baby!!

He pointed his finger to the sky.

Dracian: That was a well fought battle Stallion.

Stallion: It was surely our greatest one Dracian. It seems you and your partner had that little bit more of a drive to win.

In the stands Kasumi smiled.

Kasumi: I told you Simon!

Simon: Rats!

Ryo: In the end the two both made up.

Kasumi: Yes. Let's just be glad things didn't get to the point where you had to intervene.

She turned to a young blonde girl looking to be around the age of everyone else.

???: They're both strong yeah, but not strong enough.

She had a Bey in her hand that had a face bolt resembling a demon.

TIME SKIP!!

Azure: So, you sure this is what we gotta do?

Ryu: Yup. Everyone is ok with it. Dracian and Stallion too.

Stallion: The Dark power isn't our strength.

Dracian: You mastered it, now make it your own.

The two walked off into the distance fist bumping.
