Ryu: You two really surprised me back there.

The newly formed All Star Team was waiting at the airport. Sadly they had to leave Gin behind at with Kenta since only they could ride that time.

Azure: Yeah, that was a pretty awesome battle.

Karma: Thanks guys.

Erica: Gotta admit, it was pretty fun going all out like that again.

Azure: I knew you had to be strong, but seeing you beat Karma just blew me back. I'm pretty sure that even sure Ryuga could have some trouble battling you.

Karma: That reminds me, where is Ryuga now?

Azure: Well, we came across him in another Volcano a few months ago.

Erica: Did you just say Volcano?

Ryu: Yeah but aside from that, he's gotten crazy strong. He was able to keep up with us with his Meteo L-Drago.

Karma: L-Drago's been reborn too?

Ryu: Yup. Strange how he never wanted to participate in this thing. I was sure he'd want a chance to test out his new skills. Speaking of which, Karma what the hell was that back there? You used black flames.

Karma: O-Oh you know, just the result of some training. Some hard work, blood sweat and tears and all that good stuff.

Ryu rose his eyebrows for a moment before shrugging.

Dracian: She stuttered.

Azure: Well anyway you must've been doing some intense training for it to get that intense.

Karma: Well yeah but I still don't have it completely under control, so I try avoiding using it.

Ryu: Fair enough.

Soon they arrived in the plane getting on first class.

Azure: This is first class huh?

Erica: Not bad in the slightest.

Ryu: Come to think of it, I think this might be the first time I've ever been on a plane.

Karma: Hold up, you've never flown in a plane?!

Erica: How the heck did you and your family get around then?

Azure: Didn't our parents say anything?

Ryu: We mostly traveled on foot. If I did ride on a plane before I was way too young to remember.

Karma: Talk about a sophisticated wild child.

Ryu: Hm?

Dracian: Just another Ryu thing.

After a few minutes a screen popped up.

Ryu: What?

It powered on revealing Ryo.

Ryo: Greetings! I am the WBBA Director Ryo Hagane! This is being broadcasted live to the world so be sure to listen. Now I will explain how the World Championship will work.

Azure: Finally.

He popped a chocolate covered cherry into his mouth.

Azure: Mmm.

Karma: I thought it was just gonna be fought in brackets like battle Bladers but just in teams.

Erica: Well now we can find out for sure.

Ryo: In order to tell who are truly the greatest it wouldn't be fair to just decide brackets at random. Which is why it'll be a war!!

Ryu: Uncles got my attention now.

Karma: A war he says?

Ryo: Not only that, but teams will be competing to find items at the areas they're given. They'll know as soon as they get to their designated area. Along the way some teams will be going for the same item so you'll have to battle them for it. And once you do, you'll either get a note with the item for a pass, or you'll have to battle in a set arena to get to your next goal!

All three of them seemed to get excited at the idea.

Ryu: OOOOOH!!! I HAVEN'T BEEN AS PUMPED AS I AM NOW SINCE THE SURVIVAL BATTLE!!!

Erica: He's right, this really will be like an all out war!

Ryo: On the way you must be ready to face any challenge. Now stay prepared and battle fiercely! And even though it should be prohibited, any other teams should watch out for the Japans All Star Team: Team RAGE! Until then, THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OFFICIALLY BEGINS NOW!!

The screen powered off as the three actually cheered.

Azure: Now this is my kinda tournament!!

Ryu: I call battling the first guy!

Erica: SECOND!

Azure: Oh damnit.

Karma: You know even if I did call something I'm still technically the sub.

TIME SKIP!!

After about half a day the team arrived at Brazil.

Ryu: *Sigh* been a while since I've been here.

Karma: Did you meet any powerful Bladers here?

They got up and started walking down the plane.

Ryu: Well, maybe, I'm not sure.

They saw a woman outside waiting for them.

???: Hello, I'm Isabella, it's nice to meet you Team Rage.

Ryu: ... 'Why the hell do I get the urge to not let children near her?'

Isabella: Here is the location.

She handed Ryu and paper as he looked at it.

Ryu: The Favela north huh?

Erica: We're looking for silver trophy.

Karma: More than that we have to find 8 items. And it looks like bladers will be along the way to stop us.

Azure: Alright, thank you Isabella, we'll be on our way.

Isabella: Good day to you children.

Before they took another step Ryu looked back at her.

Ryu: Uhhhh, this is a random question, but does anyone call you mom from time to time?

Isabella: Well I take care of orphan children until they're adopted, so yes.

For some odd reason Ryu internally jumped.

Ryu: R-Right. Let's go guys.

They walked off with Azure having a questioning look.

Azure: What was that about?

Ryu: I don't know myself to be honest.

Dracian: Let's hope no one goes missing.

Stallion: Yes that would be odd.

They kept walking until the saw several bladers ahead.

Azure: Heh, leave this to me.

Azure attached Stallion to his launcher.

Azure: LET IT RIP!!

He launched Stallion as the other Bladers launched their beys. Easily he was able to blast them away as none of them were a match for him. He caught Stallion with a smirk.

Azure: Hmph. That didn't even count as a warmup. Let's move!

They all ran forward as battled through more Bladers until they reached the Favela water fountain.

Ryu: Come to think of it, I've been around this specific area.

Erica: Really?

Ryu: Yeah.

They looked to the fountain and saw a small trophy.

Ryu: There it is!

???: YOU?!!

Ryu looked ahead of him seeing four familiar faces. He looked closer before holding back a laugh.

Ryu: Oh my God! The Garcia's?!

Argo: Ryu!!

Karma: Ryu, you know these guys?

Ryu: Back when I first started my journey, I met these guys in this same alley. They battled me all at once and I still trashed them.

Ian: This isn't going to be like last time!

Selen: Yeah we trained everyday to make sure we never take a loss like that ever again!

Enzo: AMAZING HUH?!

Ryu: Well, I honestly don't care. I'll beat you guys one on one or even 4 on 1!

Argo: Well we don't need 4 on 1 to defeat you! Let's go, Ray Gill and I will be your opponents for the item!

Ryu: Alright then! Let's hope that you can match Buster Dracian!

They attached their beys as Argo glared at Ryu.

Ryu: 3!!

Argo: 2!!

Both: 1!! LET IT RIP!!!

They launched their Bey's both having immense power. Dracian and Gill clashed causing a shockwave. When the smoke cleared it was revealed Dracian was actually holding Gill up in the air.

Ryu: You know for such a big guy I thought you'd at least be able to match me in power.

Argo: What?!

Ryu: TAKE HIM DOWN DRACIAN!!

Dracian pushed Ray Gill back to Argo.

Argo: You haven't seen anything! GO RAY GILL!!

It dashed over to Dracian and started attacking violently.

Erica: Woah, that's almost like Lucifer's attack pattern.

Ryu: Well I guess you have improved. You could barely get a few attacks on me a few years ago.

Argo: That defeat opened our eyes! There was a world of powerful bladers that we had never seen before!! We will not stay in this place forever!! WE WILL WIN AND CLAIM WHAT SHOULD BE OURS!! PEOPLE WHO'VE HAD IT EASY LIKE YOU COULD NEVER DEFEAT US!!

Ryu's eyes became slitted hearing this.

Azure: Ohhhh you said the words.

Argo: What words?

Ryu: "Had it easy like you" Huh? You guys haven't changed a bit. Dracian.

Dracian glowed before pushing Gill away.

Ryu: You said something like that back then too. What kind of spoiled life have I lead. Well you don't know a damn thing about me!!

Dracian crashed into Gill knocking it up into the air.

Argo: NO WAY!! GILL!!

Selen: Big bro's being knocked around like a rag doll!!

Ian readied his Bey before Azure stopped him.

Azure: Don't even think about it! If any of you try and jump in, we'll jump in too!

Ryu: That year when we met I lost everything in a single day! And even then I still traveled the world since I was young! Every day was a constant struggle to not give out!!

Dracian attacked Gill relentlessly smashing it into walls.

Ryu: But I only just recently gotten everything that I once had back and I won't let anyone try and take that! So if you'll try and stomp over another Bladers dreams to make want you want reality, then I'll crush you down myself!!

Argo: I say your still too soft!! SPECIAL MOVE!!!

A purple light flashed from Ray Gill as a fossil of a dinosaur game out.

Argo: Ray Gill: KEEL STRANGLER!!!

It went at Dracian who glowed.

Ryu: ALRIGHT DRACIAN!! SPECIAL MOVE: BUSTER COUNTER!!

The Dragon Dracian appeared in front of Gill grabbing it by the neck and throwing it to the ground. At the same time the Buster Wing on Dracian blasted back Ray Gill into the walls causing an explosion. When the dust cleared Gill had stopped spinning.

Selen: H-He lost?

Ryu grabbed Dracian with a smirk.

Ryu: Different time, same results.

Karma: Alright!!

Erica: So that's Buster Dracian's Special Move huh? Destructive.

Azure grabbed the silver trophy.

Azure: This belongs to us now.

Ryu: Anyway what's the note say?

Karma read it out loud.

Karma: This card means you must move on now. Go back to your plane flying to France enjoying first class.

Ryu: France Huh?

Ryu remembered a certain pale blue hair colored girl.

Ryu: I wonder if Sophie's part of the World Championships too.

Karma: Sophie?

Azure: Who are you talking about?

Ryu: Just a friend I met in the EU. She's pretty good too. The last time I saw her she used a Grand Cetus.

Azure: Well knowing the friends you have I doubt she'd miss up on an opportunity for the world.

Stallion: Yes, she is a Blader too.

Ryu: Yeah, let's go.

They all walked back to the plane.
