Ok everyone I'm gonna be trying something different. This chapter I'm going to be showing some bits in Ryu's past and the people he's met. Here's the first stop!

BRAZIL!!

An 11 year old Ryu was walking through the streets in Brazil hearing there sound of battles. He looked around not seeing any challenges around him.

Ryu: Ugh, maybe coming to Brazil was a waste of time Dracian.

Dracian: I told you France would've been a better place to start.

Ryu kept walking until he found himself in an alleyway. He finally noticed and realized what kind of blunder he may have gotten himself into.

Ryu: 'Oh great now I could get mugged.'

He heard footsteps coming towards him and on instinct did a high backflip landing on a house roof.

Ryu: Ok, I know I'm out of country and everything, but you can at least try and be more hospitable.

He said this to a girl with slightly curly hair. He looked around before speaking again.

Ryu: Ok come out, I know there's more of you.

Soon after three boy's came out. One with hair similar to the girls but not flat, one with an Afro, and one with dreads wearing a headband.

???: Amazing huh? He could tell all of us were here!

Dracian: Your good Ryu.

Ryu: 'I know.' Ok what exactly do you want?

???2: How about a friendly battle?

???3: Unless you're too scared.

Ryu: Hmph, I don't really have to. Battling you all like this just seems off to me. Not too fair.

???2: Fair you say? Ha! Everyday for us is a battle. Just what kind of spoiled life have you lead up till now? No hardships at all? Come on, tell us!

This seemingly pissed Ryu off as he remembered all that's happened to him.

Ryu: You say I'm spoiled?

The images of the past came flooding back into Ryu's mind as his pupils became slitted.

Ryu: Anyway that's not what I meant. Four on one isn't nearly enough for you lot to win. What are your names?

Argo: We are the Garcia's! I'm Argo!

Ian: I'm Ian!

Selen: I'm Selen!

Enzo: And I'm Enzo!

Ryu brought out Dracian and held her out.

Ryu: I am Ryu Kaizen. And this is Surge Dracian.

They all held out their Bey's with Ryu raising an eyebrow.

Ryu: Two Ray Gashers, a Cyclone Herculeo, and a Ray Gill. And I guess you all plan to battle me at once?

Argo: Yeah! And there's no chickening out!

Ryu: Who said I would? It's battles like these that get me excited.

He attached Dracian to his launcher as the others did the same.

All: 3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!

They all launched their Bey's with Dracian going for Selen's Gasher.

Ryu: Hit em hard Dracian!

She dodged the attack and Dracian missed. It went after Gasher again but it constantly dodged. One attack hit a wall as some cracks formed from the power of the attack.

Selen: Ah!

Argo: You kidding me?!

Ian: Did he really just do that?!

Enzo: Amazing huh! That's so much power huh?!

Ryu: Hmph. The dodging game huh? Fine I can play that game.

Dracian sped up and soon went into Full Attack Mode.

Argo: A mode change!

Ryu: Dracian!

Dracian sped towards Gasher.

Selen: The same thing will happen again!

Ryu: Don't be to sure.

Gasher tried to avoid the attack but Dracian anticipated it moving to the right and had a sudden change in direction to hit Gasher with massive force.

Selen: OH NO! GASHER!!

It was pushed into the wall as Enzo's Gasher came in bouncing to attack.

Enzo: Go now Ray Gasher!!

It bounced onto Dracian with Ryu turning to Enzo.

Ryu: Please kid.

There was a massive explosion before both Bey's were sent flying.

Ian: He beat both of them in a single move!!

Dracian: 2 down, 2 to go.

Ryu: You both are next. I'll end this now.

Argo: Like that'll happen!! Special Move!! Ray Gill: KIEL STRANGLER!!!

A fissile of a Dinosaur came out of the Bey as it made its way over to Dracian.

Ian: Blazer Slash!!

Herculeo glowed in a red light coming towards Dracian.

Ryu: Dracian: SURGE THUNDER!!!

Dracian itself glowed red with lightning as it soared over to the two Beys. They all clashed with another explosion. Argo and Ian were knocked back as Ray Gill and Herculeo were knocked into walls. They smoke cleared up and revealed Dracian still spinning. Ryu picked his bag back up and called Dracian back.

Ryu: Thanks for the battle. Later.

He jumped off from the roof onto the ground.

Ryu: You gotta rely on you're own skills to win a battle. Not others powers.

He said this before walking away.

Dracian: That was a good Battle Ryu, but I don't think there are any Bladers stronger than them here.

Ryu: Ok then. Brazil's off the list.

He crossed off Brazil from a long list. Over them were America, Japan, China, and Russia.

TIME SKIP!!

IN FRANCE!!

A year later after visiting the Middle East and Africa, Ryu had made his way to France this time with a cloak.

Ryu: 'This thing may be the best thing I ever got for myself.'

Dracian: It is a very nice cape.

He felt the ocean breeze hit his face and enjoyed the sun.

Ryu: When's the last time I've actually been to a nice beach?

Dracian: A few years, give or take.

He closed his eyes just taking in all of his surroundings.

Ryu: 'After all this traveling I finally feel at peace with myself.'

Ryu laid down putting his bag to the side. He looked to his left seeing a white haired girl wearing a hat girl on a cliff.

Ryu; Oh hey a girl on the edge of a cliff. Neat.

He closed his eyes and yawned before the words he said slowly started to replay in his mind.

Ryu: 'Oh look, a girl on the edge of the cliff. Cliff. Cliff. Cliff...'

His eyes shot open bloodshot.

Ryu: HOLY CRAP!!!

He immediately got up and ran up the cliff at amazing speeds. When you got to the girl he pulled her away from the edge.

Ryu: Hey you've gotta be way more careful on cliffs! One wrong step and you could've gotten seriously hurt. Trust me, I know.

Ryu thought of the multiple times he had fallen from even a small cliff and gotten hurt in ways normal people wouldn't be able to bounce back from so easily. The girl then looked at him before laughing.

???; Oh I'm sorry to be worrying you! I was just admiring the ruins.

Ryu was confused before he looked over the cliff into the water to vaguely see what seemed to be a ship underwater.

Ryu: Well I'll be. But I think you'd have an easier time with that without all the water.

???: Yes it would be a nice help. And I don't really like getting wet.

Ryu thought of ways they could see the ship better before a lightbulb shined over his head. He noticed it before throwing it away.

Ryu: I have an idea.

He brought out Dracian turning her into reverse rotation.

???: A Bey?

Ryu: Let it Rip!!

He launched Dracian into the ocean surprising the girl.

???: AHH!! You launched you're own Bey?!

Ryu: Don't worry, Dracian is fine. Just watch.

She looked down to see the water swirling.

???: What?

After another moment, a whirlpool formed before it cleared to reveal the ship. Dracian was spinning and glistening from the water.

Dracian: Ah. Nothing like a nice dip in the water once in a while.

Ryu caught Dracian in his hand and smiled.

Ryu: Well no need for a dive now is there?

???: That was amazing. I don't even have half that level of skill with my Bey.

Ryu: You're a Blader?

The girl brought out her Bey.

???: Grand Cetus T125RS. This is my partner.

Ryu smiled as he returned the courtesy.

Ryu: This is Surge Dracian M105MRF. Come to think of it we haven't even told each other our names. I'm Ryu Kaizen.

Sophie: My name is Sophie! By the way, you don't look like you're from France.

Ryu: Yeah. I'm a traveler. I'm going around the world in search for strong Bladers and just an adventure in general. I just got to France.

Sophie: Is that so? Are you planning on leaving any time soon?

Ryu: Not really. I've been going around nonstop for a while now so I'm planning on staying a while. I even started the process to be a France citizen.

Sophie: That's wonderful! Do you need guide?

Ryu: ...

FLASHBACK!!

Ryu: Excuse me but could you-

Frenchman: Not a chance boy.

Attempt #2!

Ryu: Excuse me ma'am could you-

Frenchwoman: Sorry but I have to be somewhere!

Attempt #3!

Ryu: Um sir, I just-

Frenchman 2: Sorry boy but the restaurant won't run itself!

FLASHBACK OVER!!

Ryu had a deadpanned look on his face before shaking it off.

Ryu: Yeah I'd really like that.

Sophie: Rough time around?

Dracian: If only she knew.

Ryu: Let's go with that phrase yeah.

Sophie: Well, let's go. We'll stop at a restaurant!

The two started walking by with Ryu smiling.

Ryu: 'If only everyone was as kind as she is.'

Dracian: You're right there.
