Madoka: I still can't believe you were able to do it! You actually defeated Lightning L-Drago!!

Yu: Your just the coolest Ryu!!

Ryu: Ahh thanks guys.

Everyone was celebrating in a lounge. That's when they heard the sound of Familiar voices.

???: You skyways try to find a way to outshine me huh?

They looked and saw Kyoya with Kenta Hikaru and Tsubasa, with Kenta and Hikaru being a little banged up.

Kenta: Hey guys!!

Tsubasa: We should at least be grateful that one nightmare is over. Defeating L-Drago couldn't have been easy.

Gingka: You're all ok!!

Benkei: KYOYA BUDDY!!!

He went to hug his friend with Kyoya held him back.

Kyoya: Geez!! Get a grip man!!

Karma: Wait, Hikaru, Kenta, how are you guys ok?

Kenta: Oh we just needed a lot of rest! See I'm great now!

Hikaru: Yeah.

Ryu: Well regardless I'm glad you guys are ok.

Ryo: It's all thanks to you Ryu.

They looked at Ryo and Kasumi.

Kasumi: Yeah, you figured out that you needed to save Ryuga as well to truly defeat the Dark Bey.

Ryu: I just thought of someone else. I wouldn't feel too great myself if I was left behind.

Dracian: Well I guess thinking of others is something that makes you yourself as well.

Fenrir: Well done.

Ryu: Which reminds me, I gotta settle something right now.

He ran out of the room confusing everyone.

Karma: Where is he headed off now?

Kasumi: I have a feeling I know.

He continued running until he was outside.

Ryu: I had a feeling you'd be out here.

He looked at Azure as he was sitting on rubble.

Azure: What do you want with me?

Ryu: I just want to talk.

Azure: Get lost.

Ryu: Oh that's cold considering we were best friends.

Azure: Operative word being were. Ugh, make it quick.

Ryu: Azure, my mother and your father are still alive.

This got his attention making his head turn.

Azure: WHAT?!

Ryu: My father saved them at the cost of his life.

Azure: Why are you telling me this Ryu?

Ryu: I know you aren't a bad guy dude. Yu told me that you saved him.

Azure: And I told you it's cause Doji was pissing me off.

Ryu: Oh drop the act. I know good and damn well Stallion hasn't done anything to your mind.

Stallion: What Azure does is his business and his alone.

Dracian: Stallion.

Stallion: Dracian, still as stoic as ever I see.

Dracian: You're one to talk.

Ryu: Azure, you can still make amends. You aren't under control and for the first time you're someone who doesn't get influenced by the power of the Original Forbidden Bey's like me. That's all we worried about.

Azure looked at him staying silent.

Azure: ... I can't.

Ryu: Don't say-

Azure: I'm not just saying that to be cold. I've already walked down this path of destruction too far to look back. It may not be the right path, but it's the path I chose for myself. There's no way I could face my father now, not after everything that's happened. Not yet.

Ryu: Tch, since when were you this thick headed? What happened to the guy that always thought things through and kept up with me in a battle no matter what?

Azure: That guy disappeared the moment we learned you'd inherit Dracian.

Ryu: Well do you wanna know something?! Back then I might not have even taken Dracian if you had just let Stallion stay there! I didn't want this! I would've been fine just battling like old times!

Azure: I'm done talking. If you want to try changing me, then talk with you're Bey!

He held out Stallion to Ryu.

Stallion: We're Bladers right? Then we'll settle these differences in a Bey Battle.

Ryu looked at Azure before a determined look formed on his face as he held Dracian up to Azure.

Ryu: Fine, I'll make sure my feelings get across to you. But you have to get past Gingka before that. Just know that if you underestimate him he'll burry you alive.

They both turned and went separate ways.

Ryu: Sorry Dracian.

Dracian: Ryu, our spirits have been connected for a long time. I found out how you really felt about the whole situation a while ago.

Ryu: Still, it was really insensitive and selfish to say.

Dracian: It's ok. You where only 10 at the time weren't you?

Ryu: Yeah about.

Azure walked in the destroyed building.

Stallion: Azure.

Azure: Stallion, don't you say it.

Stallion: You really do want to see him again don't you?

Azure: Of course I do. It's not like the guilt of killing a few people don't weigh on my mind.

Stallion: Only his fathers gone.

Azure: You say that like it's something to be happy about.

Stallion: Point taken.

Azure: Look I just, *Sigh* I wanna do what I can to make things right. Giving them both a battle worth while is the only way I can right now. Less you can somehow bring back the dead.

Stallion: I'm powerful, not a God.

Azure: Exactly.

Ryu: One thing is for sure.

Ryu&Azure: I'm not loosing.

TIME SKIP!!

The stadium was fixed after yesterday's battles.

Kenta: Good luck Gingka!

Madoka: You can do it!

Ryu: Gingka, just watch out for smash mode.

Gingka: Thanks guys! I'll win this one! And Ryu, wait for me in the finals!

He ran forward but not before receiving a quick fist bump from Ryu.

Karma: Can he do this?

Ryu: It'll be tough. Azure's the strongest Blader I've ever battled. Aside from the already overwhelming defense of Stallion, he's a defense type specialist. There's nothing he doesn't know about defense type Bey's. He knows their weak points, their strengths, and how to maximize that power. While I focus on offense this the power to break any defense, he focuses on defense becoming an impenetrable wall.

Kyoya: An impenetrable defense?

Tsubasa: I can only wonder how Gingka could figure out a way to stand up against that power?

Azure: Just so you know, I'm gonna turn the heat up pretty fast, so I suggest you do the same.

Gingka: That's just what I was hopping for!

They were ready to battle aiming their Bey's at the Stadium.

DJ: ALRIGHT EVERYBODY!! SAY IT WITH US NOW!!

All: 3!! 2!! 1!!

Gingka&Azure: LET IT RIP!!!

They launched their Bey's into the stadium with Stallion immediately taking the center position with incredible speed.

Gingka: So fast! It doesn't matter though! GO PEGASUS!! LET HIM HAVE IT!!

Pegasus jumped into the sky.

Gingka: Special Move: PEGASUS STAR BLAST ATTACK!!

It dived down to Stallion with the two Winged Horse Spirits emerging.

Azure: That's not gonna work!!

When the Bey's clashed it was revealed that Pegasus was knocked back slamming into the stadium walls.

Madoka: That's crazy!

She brought out her laptop comparing the speed of Stallion's other battles up until now.

Madoka: The spin speed of Stallion easily matches Dracian's! None of the other battles have compared until now!

Ryu: Has he held back this entire time?

Karma: I knew something fishy was going on. Azure up until now hadn't given it his all.

Yu: That's why Stallion was always slower?!

Azure: Up until now I haven't had an opponent worth using my full strength against. You're just among the few that called for it.

Kenta: So when we were battling, while I was putting everything I had into the battle, he was just giving half effort?

Hikaru: That guy...

Ryu: Don't let it get to you.

Gingka: Well the I'll just have to go beyond your full power!! Come on Pegasus!

It began to spin around the stadium at high speeds and soon began to light on blue fire.

Gingka: Special Move: Pegasus Storm Bringer!!!

Pegasus rushed down to Stallion in attempts to knock it up. The Bey's collided with an explosion happening.

Kenta: Did it work?!!

Yu: No...

Karma: He's right. Even that attack didn't weaken Stallion, not even close!

The dust revealed Stallion to be holding Pegasus back as the Black Steed Spirit held Pegasus back with one wing.

DJ: Stallion Stopped it!! The seemingly unbeatable Pegasus Storm Bringer has been blocked!!!

Gingka: What is going on here?!!

Azure: Ok, that was substantially better, but when Stallion's in it's Smash Mode you'll need more power than that.

Kyoya: Stallion's already entered Smash Mode?!

Madoka: It's true!

They all looked at the images of Stallion on Madoka's screen to see he truly was in smash mode.

Kenta: When could he have had time to change it in battle?!

Tsubasa: He didn't. He must have already put Stallion in Smash Mode before entering the battle to compensate for the strength of the attack type Pegasus.

Soon Azure's aura started to rage with his eyes glowing.

Azure: I told you I was taking things seriously. STALLION!!

Stallion began to attack Pegasus with explosions happening each hit.

Gingka: PEGASUS!!

DJ: WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!! STALLION IS OVERWHELMING PEGASUS IN BRUTE FORCE!!! AND EVERY ONE OF HIS ATTACKS MORE POWERFUL THAN THE LAST!!!

Madoka: With the other wings of Stallion being revealed the amount of damage it can deal out. Coupled with the MWD145 hooking onto an opponents Bey, Pegasus is just getting rag dolled! Not only does Stallion have the most powerful defense, it has incredible offensive power as well!

Azure: So what will you do now Gingka? How do you plan on fighting against Stallion now?

Gingka looked as Azure seemingly was a Giant with Stallion being even bigger than him.

Gingka: Wow... You really are a fearsome opponent. You and Stallion. It was scary enough just watching you battle, but being in the battle makes it seem like nothing. Doesn't matter though!

Pegasus stopped and held it's ground against Stallion.

Kyoya: Gingka is holding him back now!

Gingka: Pegasus and I just can't afford to lose this one. They're both waiting for us. Ryu and Dracian are waiting of us in the finals! We have to give it everything we've got against you!!

A blue aura surged around Gingka as Pegasus began to speed up. Slowly it started to push back against Stallion shocking Azure.

Azure: What?

Gingka: I WILL NOT LOSE!!!!

Soon Pegasus began to hit Stallion with a barrage of attacks.

Karma: He's actually pushing back Stallion!!

Yu: GO AND GET HIM GINGKI!!

Ryu smiled seeing the battle.

Ryu: I honestly want to face both of them.

Dracian: Is that so?

Kenta: Both?

Ryu: Gingka is showing that he wants to battle me more than anything in the world right now. But I also have a score to settle with Azure. And it looks like he's finally starting to wanna battle too.

They all looked at Azure who started to grin.

Azure: Alright then!! STALLION!!!

Stallion started to push back and meet Pegasus' attacks. The crowd went wild seeing the heated battle.

DJ: IT'S EITHER'S BATTLE HERE FOLKS!!! BOTH WINGED HORSES ARE CLASHING AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!!

Kyoya: He's actually smiling! For the first time in Battle Bladers the guy is actually getting fired up!

Hyoma: I guess that proves it then!

Benkei: Proves what?

Karma: That in the end, Azure is still a true Blader. Battling an opponent like Gingka makes him happy.

Gingka: WAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!

Azure: RAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!

Both Beys kept colliding and smashing into each.

Azure: Alright, I'll admit it!

Gingka: Admit what?

Azure: That this is the most fun I've had battling in a while! I'm not even sure if Ryu gave me this much of a thrill when we were kids! BUT ITS THE END OF THE LINE!!!

Stallion struck Pegasus high into the air scaring everyone.

Yu: No Pegasus!!

Karma: And the Star Blast Attack won't work on Stallion!

Gingka: THEN I'LL USE SOMETHING ELSE!!!! FLY HIGH AND FREELY PEGASUS!!!!!

The emblem of Pegasus appeared in the sky as it was seen flying down.

Stallion: Azure!!

Azure: I know!!!

Lightning from the sky struck Stallion as it spun around the Stadium gaining momentum before springing into the air.

Gingka: GO! SPECIAL MOVE: GALAXY NOVA!!!!

The Pegasus Spirit came down as Stallion rushed at it.

Azure: DARK MOVE!! CALAMITY KING: VENOMOUS WING!!!

Stallion rose up to Pegasus shrouded in a back and blue aura.

Azure&Gingka: GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!

The two Bey's clashed with their Bladers seemingly having clashed fist as well. A massive explosion happened destroying the Stadium once again. The smoke cleared to reveal Pegasus had stopped spinning and Stallion was wobbly but still going.

DJ: OH- OH MY GOODNESS!! THE WINNER IS AZURE!!!

Gingka well on his back panting while Azure had his hands on his knees panting as well.

Gingka: Darn. I really lost.

He looked and saw a hand outstretched to him and saw Azure.

Azure: I just wanna clear this up, I had no intention of using Stallion for evil.

Gingka: You didn't?

Azure: No. I only wanted to become the best Blader in the world. Didn't have an interest in that stuff anyway.

Gingka: I see. You really just wanted to become stronger.

He took Azure's hand and smiled.

Gingka: You really are strong Azure!

Azure: You're no slouch either Gingka.

Benkei: Would you look at that.

Hikaru: So Azure never was bad?

Kenta: Now that I think about it, I don't think he actually tried to hurt us before.

Ryu: Yeah actually.

Madoka: All of his battles were really passive before this. And he didn't absorb any power either...

Kyoya: Are you telling me he was looking out for the people he battled by holding back?

Ryu: 'So that part of you still hasn't changed huh?'

Azure: Well Gingka, I guess I have to consider you a rival now. You nearly won.

He caught Stallion in his hand as Gingka smiled.

Gingka: The next time I'll win Azure. Just know that.

He went to pick up Pegasus but as soon as he did, the Bey began to glow.

Gingka: Pegasus?

Azure: Stallion, what's going on?

Stallion let his voice echo out for everyone close to here.

Stallion: It seems Pegasus used all of her own power in this last battle.

Gingka: Wh-What does that mean?

The Bey began to disappear much to Gingka dismay.

Gingka: P-P-Pegasus!

It vanished as the winged horse spirit was in the air.

Pegasus: This is goodbye for now my friend. Take care Gingka.

Pegasus began to fly away with a feather falling onto his hand.

Ryu: Wh-What?

Karma: Just happened?

Fenrir: Pegasus used too much power in the battle.

Karma: Is it gone for good?

Dracian: I highly doubt it. Pegasus was originally made from my star. If she's anything like me she'll return to Gingka. Much stronger than before as well.

Azure: Gingka, I'm really sorry.

Gingka: You don't have to apologize Azure. That was mine and Pegasus' decision to go all out... I know one day that she'll be back again.
