3rd Person POV

Ryu was training at night near the river.

Dracian: I think we should call it a night.

Ryu: *Pant* *Pant* ... Just gotta *Pant* pull it off *Pant* one more time...

Dracian: Fine, but this is the last time for the night got it?

Ryu: Yeah.

He closed his eyes before grabbing his launcher.

Ryu: 3. 2. 1. LET IT RIP!

Ryu launches Dracian with more force than ever seen.

Ryu: Perfect. All the way up now.

Dracian went back to Ryu and he caught her.

Ryu: Lets go now.

Time Skip!

Ryu POV

I snuck back into Madoka's house quietly to make sure I didn't wake anyone up. Before I walked in, I checked to see if anyone was there. I walked in and and made sure to not to wake anyone up.

Ryu: Whew. Safe.

Madoka: Not from me your not!

I jumped and turned to see Madoka right behind me.

Ryu: What the- but I checked inside before I opened the door!

Madoka: Ryu, where were you?! You said you would be back in an 3 hours, but you were gone for the entire day!

Ryu: Sorry, I just went out to train for a bit.

Madoka: Are you crazy?! Do you know how worried Kenta Gingka and I were?!

Ryu: Lost track of time! Honest!

Madoka: That's not good enough. And it's not just about us, you didn't take a break the entire day did you?

Ryu: Uh well, ummm. Ya see-

Madoka: I knew it! You can't just push yourself like that! It'll only hurt you in the long run.

Ryu: Madoka really, I'm ok.

Madoka: Well I'm not buying it. Show me your hands.

Ryu: Your kidding.

Madoka was getting increasingly angry with me. I jumped in place before taking my gloves off. When she looked at them she was shocked to see both of them were red and covered in calluses.

Madoka: What kind of training have you been doing? Your hands look like they just went through a launching marathon!

Ryu: Well that was half of it yeah.

Madoka: That's it, your not gonna be training until I say your good!

Ryu: What?! Come on Madoka I wasn't that bad!

Madoka: Oh really?

She poked my right shoulder and I flinched in pain.

Madoka: Your Bey might not get damaged easily but you do. Just this once trust me.

She gave me a sad look.

Ryu: *Sigh* I do trust you Madoka. Ok, no more training until I'm better.

She smiled.

Madoka: Okay, first off let's bandage those hands.

Time Skip!

Ryu: So that's what went on while I was gone huh?

Gingka: Yeah. Could you believe that Kenta thought I was gonna leave?

Ryu: To be honest I'm more surprised he wanted us to be coaches. I'm more of a train by myself and give advice once in a while type of guy.

Gingka: Yeah, crazy. So what exactly did you do for your training?

Ryu: Well-

Madoka: Actually you didn't actually specify how your hands got like that.

Ryu: Eh, I was just trying to perfect something.

Gingka: And that was?

Ryu: Well I don't wanna just tell you, I'd much rather show you.

I gave Madoka a quick stare before she sighed.

Madoka: Fine, your good for one demonstration but that's it!

Ryu: Right. Come on.

We all walked outside and I grabbed my launcher.

Ryu: Alright. Normal rotation should be fine.

I gripped my launcher with my right hand this time.

Gingka: Uhh, what are you doing? Don't you always launch with your right Ryu.

Ryu: Just trust me. 3. 2. 1. Let It Rip!!

When I launched there was a gust of wind the that surprised Gingka and Madoka. When Dracian it the floor, she started spinning around faster then they had probably ever seen. I grabbed Dracian as she flew back to my hand.

Ryu: That's what I've been trying to do all this time. I'm ambidextrous. I always launched him my right hand since I thought that I could use my other hand for stability better, but I only realized I wasn't thinking outside the box.

Madoka: That launch was at least 20% more powerful than your right hand! It's incredible the results you've gained from only a day!

Ryu: Well this wasn't just over night Madoka.

Gingka: I bet you trained for a while to be able to do that.

Ryu: Your not wrong.

Time Skip!

Ryu: Ughh I'm so bored!

Dracian: I know you've been saying it for that last 3 hours.

Ryu: It's bad enough that Madoka has to go with Gingka and the others, but Gingka is probably battling someone right now! Seriously they could've at least let me come along.

Dracian: Just try to find a way to occupy yourself that doesn't involve training.

Before I could retort, I heard the door open. Gingka Kenta and Madoka came down the stairs.

Ryu: Finally your all back. There was literally nothing to do without anyone to talk to!

Dracian: What am I chopped liver?

Ryu: 'They don't need to know I can talk to you.'

Madoka: Sorry Ryu, we didn't think we'd be gone for that long.

Kenta: It was just a wild time.

Ryu: Not helping Kenta.

Gingka: But I did manage to grab a Triple Beef Burger for you! You don't know the trouble I had to go to to get this!

Gingka held up a bag with the smell of a burger in it. I ran up to him and grabbed the bag.

Ryu: All is forgiven.

I grabbed the burger and started bitting into it happily.

Ryu: Ahh taste like victory. So how did the battle go?

Gingka: I won against Benkei but just barely.

Ryu: Barely?

Kenta: It turns out Benkei had a new Bey called Dark Bull. It was super powerful knocked Pegasus around!

Ryu: Wait Dark Bull? We're did he get that?

Madoka: That's not even the strangest part. When a beam was about to fall on Gingka he saved him at the last second. Pretty strange if you ask me.

Ryu: I mean if he was using Dark Bull, then he must've had to train nonstop to master it. I guess he didn't wanna cheat since he put in all that hard work.

Gingka: That's what I said.

I took the last bite of my burger and started eating the fries.

Ryu: That hit the spot. So Madoka, do you think I'll be good now?

Madoka: All you needed was some well needed rest. Just lay off the training for a little bit and you'll be fine for battles.

Ryu: Alright! You and me Kenta! Come on let's go!

Madoka: Really?! This soon?!

Time Skip!

A/n: Sorry but long story short, Ryu hasn't had a place in any of the other battles up until THIS ONE!!

Ryu: Gingka I feel like you've been hogging a lot of the battles lately. First that Benkei, then that Tetsuya guy, now Hikaru. Seriously I feel like I'm just being put to the side.

Gingka: Oh come on you got to battle Kyoya. He has to be as strong as me and you beat him so fast.

Ryu: And I'm trying to see if someone else can challenge me. You doing all the battling isn't-

???: Guys!

We all heard Kenta come through the door and when I saw him, I was shocked and angry. He was carrying Benkei's unconscious body and seemed exhausted.

Ryu: Kenta!

Before he could fall under Benkei's weight I grabbed Benkei's body and slung him over my shoulder.

Time Skip!

Kenta told us everything that happened back at the Face Hunters hide out.

Gingka: So Kyoya disbanded the Face Hunters?

Madoka: And then did this to Benkei? But I thought they were really good friends.

Kenta: I don't know.

Ryu: Well what I know is that if he wants to battle me again then I'll accept the challenge and beat him. I guess he didn't see the light last battle. I guess I'll have to make sure to knock some sense into him this time.

Benkei: R-Yu!

We all saw him start to wake up.

Benkei: Come closer R-Ryu...

Gingka: Easy Benkei.

Kenta: You shouldn't talk. Just rest.

Benkei: Kyoya isn't himself. He's just not the kind of person who'd do something like this. Ugh!! Something happened to him, something bad. Please, I beg you, show him the true meaning of, a Beyblade battle!

Ryu: 'After what Kyoya did to him he's still so loyal? I've never seen someone so loyal in my entire life.'

Benkei: This is my last request. Do this for me...

I grabbed his hand.

Ryu: I promise.

He smiled before crying and passing out. I stood up and grabbed my cape and wrapping it around me.

Ryu: Lets go.

We all walked to where we all had a feeling Kyoya would be. Sure enough he was there and had a sadistic smile on his face. He both walked up to our places at the stadium.

Ryu: Kyoya Tetagami.

Kyoya: Ryu Kaizen. We meet again, but this time I'll defeat you and make you beg for mercy AHAHAHAHA!!

Ryu: The only thing you'll be doing is coming to your senses. Cause I'm not in the mood to play games tonight.

I flipped the launcher upside down to put it for reverse rotation. I attached Dracian and was going for my left handed launch.

Kyoya: So a left handed launch? Your just making yourself weaker!

Ryu: Just zip it and get ready.

Both: 3! 2! 1! LET IT RIP!!

Both of our Beys landed in the stadium and unlike before, Leon went straight in for an attack which caught me off guard.

Ryu: An attack?

Leon slammed right into Dracian with him matching her power.

Ryu: Well that wasn't expected. Didn't think you were gutsy enough to go for an all out attack against us.

Kyoya: If you had gone through what I did, you'd know it's either attack or be attacked!!

Ryu: Your not wrong, BUT!

Dracian started to overpower Leon and push it back.

Ryu: Don't think you can match Dracian in a head on clash!

Leon was pushed all the way into the center.

Ryu: Now go on, use that special move. It's bound to have gotten stronger.

Kyoya: Your going to regret being to cocky!

A tornado appeared around Leon but something felt different about the wind. It was stronger.

Ryu: So it did power up. No mater. Dracian!

Dracian started spinning around the stadium and she started glowing dark red.

Kenta: That's Ryu's special move!

Madoka: That's how he was easily able to defeat Kyoya last time.

Gingka: It's the move I lost to as well.

Ryu: Special Move: Surge Thunder!!

Dracian went straight down to the tornado and was about to clash with it.

Kyoya: Bad move Kaizen.

Ryu: What was that?

Kyoya: I thought you of all people would realize I would come back with a few new tricks. A night in Wolf Canyon helped me realize powers I never knew I had!!!

Kenta: Wait Ryu, that's not the Lion Gale Force Wall!! Run now!!

Kyoya: Witness my new Special Move: Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance!!

The tornado had started shifting and moving towards Dracian.

Ryu: It's moving now?!

When Leon clashed with Dracian, they were both equally tied in strength.

Ryu: Your kidding me!

Dracian and Leon were going blow for blow, neither Bey backing down.

Ryu: 'Darn. If this keeps up, then it might turn out really bad for Leon.'

Dracian: I can feel his sorrow. It's coming off in waves.

Ryu: Ok so we're about even right now, big deal.

Kyoya: I will crush you no matter! I've grown this strong by myself without anyone helping me! And I will keep getting stronger until I destroy you entirely!!

Ryu: Alone you say? How blind you are. If your so intent on going then fine. Dracian!!

Dracian's metal core aligned with the Dragon Heads.

Kenta: That's Dracian's Full Attack Mode!

Madoka: Now we get to see it in action.

Gingka: Kyoya's in trouble now.

Ryu: Go Dracian!

Dracian started pushing back Leon again and finally started to widen the gap between the two. Dracian was barraging Leon with a flurry of attacks.

Ryu: I didn't even think you were blind enough to think that you grew stronger by yourself. Your crazier than you were before!!

???: Yeah you tell him!

I turned to see that Benkei was up and here.

Benkei: Your not yourself anymore Kyoya. Your not the man I respect more than anyone else!

???: You can do it Ryu!

???2: Yeah show him what a Bey battle really is!

I looked into the stands and saw that everyone from the Bey park was there. Testuya and Hikaru were also there. Even some of the Face Hunters.

Ryu: You see now? Benkei your friend, and the Face Hunters, who look to you for a leader, want you back, and now with everyone backing me up, there's not a chance I'll loose. But that's not the end of it. Can't you hear it?

Kyoya: Ha! Here what?! The sound of your eminent defeat?!

Ryu: Leon is crying. Even he's saddened with this version of you.

I could faintly see tears coming off of Leon as he spun.

Kyoya: Stop spewing nonsense! It's time to finish this! I'll still blow you away to the ends of the earth! Ready for my new Special Move I created just for that purpose?!

Kenta: No way!

Benkei: Did he just say new Special Move?

Madoka: But the Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance is already so powerful!

Gingka: That's not good. If it's any stronger than this one, Dracian may not be able to hold out.

I smirked before chuckling.

Kenta: Did he just laugh?

Benkei: Why would he laugh when Kyoya just told him that he had an even stronger Special Move?!! He must be crazy!!!

Gingka: Wait. Ryu never acts like this without a rite to. He has to be confident that he can beat Kyoya's new move.

Madoka: But what could he have up his sleeve?

Kyoya: So has all this wind knocked a screw loose in your head or are you just accepting defeat?!

Ryu: Oh it's neither. It's just kinda ironic. You told me you had a new Special Move. I'm just pretty sure you didn't expect me to have one as well.

Everyone gasped.

Kyoya: Pfft Hahahaha!! You definitely have a screw loose! Your bluffing!

Ryu: Am I? Come and find out if your brave enough.

Kyoya: Your funeral pal! GRAAAH!!!

He started howling and the wind began to get stronger.

Kyoya: Special Move: KING LION TEARING BLAST!!

The Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance dispersed into 3 Typhoons that where even more powerful by themselves.

Ryu: Yeah that's about right. Way stronger individually than that other one.

They came straight at Dracian and started to attack relentlessly.

Madoka: Ryu watch out!!!

Ryu: It's fine Madoka. Just watch.

After a few more attacks Dracian escaped from the typhoons and started spinning around the Stadium at higher speeds than before.

Ryu: Take flight Dracian!!

She leaped out of the stadium and high into the air.

Kyoya: Ha you fool! You just lost yourself the battle!

Ryu: Just shut it and watch!

Dracian kept going until she was completely out of sight.

Gingka: Wait, this is just like-

A dark red and yellow light appeared in the sky as Dracian started rocketing back down.

Kyoya: What?!

Ryu: Have a taste of my strongest Special Move: Dark Shinning Buster!!

Dracian had started glowing yellow and red as it dived down. The Dragon spirit hit the tornado's and ripped them at apart.

Kyoya: The King Lion Tearing Blast was-!!!!

Ryu: Bow realize that you were never alone. Remember that Leon was there from the beginning. Reclaim your Blader Spirit.

Leon was sent right out of the stadium and falling in front of Kyoya's eyes.

Kyoya: 'That's right! You've always been... there by my side.'

The clouds were fully dispersed and the rain had cleared from the force of our Special Move. I grabbed Dracian and she still skinned in my hand for a minute making sparks in my glove hand.

Ryu: 'If I didn't have gloves on that would've burned like wild fire!'

Dracian: Sorry, got a little to excited.

It took me a bit to realize that everyone was cheering.

Ryu: WOW I must've gotten deep in the zone not to notice their cheering.

Kyoya: Ryu. I lost this, but I...

He picked up Leon.

Kyoya: I was never alone.

Ryu: As long as you remember that, I think my work is done. And now you have to battle Gingka so you can fight me again. I'll be waiting. And hey, maybe you can stick around like Benkei.

I walked over him and held my hand out. I stared at it before grabbing it.

Ryu: Well it's official, your now my Rival Kyoya.

Before he could say anything a helicopter appeared out of nowhere.

Ryu: Huh?

I looked at the side of it and saw a logo. My eyes widened when I saw it.

Ryu: No. It can't be them.

The door opened to reveal a man who was to familiar to me. He started clapping as I started getting angry.

Ryu: You!!
